I think food is great and there are some weird combinations and interesting dishes out there. I also love polls and opinions so; would y'all eat this food??
This is a blog where we all come together to look at different foods from around the world, small combinations and full dishes, and discuss whether or not we would eat it! It's all for fun and enjoyment, but there is a FAQ under read more that I encourage you to read!
There are two important things all should keep in mind, whether or not you want to read the full FAQ:
I absolutely love suggestions! I have ask open always, and I have created a google form as well. Please use the google form over an ask when possible. If you need to send a photo with your submission, please send through on tumblr!
I will never add any other options. Asking is futile, no matter how much you try to ask/how right you think you are. My reasoning is in the FAQ, and I will not explain myself further. I always aim for inclusivity, and I believe keeping the options minimal aligns with that.
You have found my FAQ! Here's more info about the blog and polls. Enjoy, and thank you for participating!
Polls that have been up for a year or more will be requeued. That way, new followers have a chance to vote in very old polls! Already posted submissions that are requeued will be tagged with #old submission. They will not have the same priority as new submissions!
Assume all ingredients can be any variation unless specified (ie for ice cream and fries, it can be any flavor of ice cream, or any type of fry)
I will not add an "I would try it button" because if you would try it, you would eat it. If you'd eat it, you'd try it. Basically, if you would put a bite of this food into your mouth, click the "I would eat this" option
I will not add an "I have eaten this (neutral)" option because I feel it unnecessary. In my mind, positive means you'd eat it again if offered to you, negative means you wouldn't. If you wouldn't immediately turn it down a second time, I'd say that's a positive experience with that food.
I have decided not to add options for any variation of "can't eat". If you can't eat it, it falls under won't eat. If you like voting while ignoring your allergies, you can this way as well. I encourage people to tag and comment why they wouldn't eat something if they'd like to share their specific situation! There's no shame, no matter how you vote
It's up to voter discretion whether or not an ingredient can be subbed out. I've seen people vote strictly based on what's written, and I've seen others vote as if one side ingredient wasn't there or substituted. I think both ways are valid, and ultimately I want y'all to enjoy yourselves! My one reservation is you probably can't take out any of the main ingredients.
There is no right or wrong way to vote! I will not tell you how to vote, or judge you for the way you vote. You may absolutely share how/why you vote a certain way, but I will not enforce any specific voting strategy!
Some images show a side dish(es). Those are not necessary to consider in terms of whether or not you would eat the main dish, however if a side dish would make or break a meal, use your discretion on your vote!
I add links to recipes on every post. Some posts will not have links because I used several sources or other similar reasons.
In relation, these are not my recipes. Please do not call me out for something written in the recipe, etc. Also keep in mind that I only know as much as what's written on the recipe for every dish. Asking me detailed questions is futile!
I will be adding tags to finished polls when I can. I will not promise to be perfect with this (and have not been) but I will do my best! The tags will be: #would eat, #would not eat, #have eaten (positive), and #have eaten (negative). This will allow anyone who would like to to use the search function to see the least popular foods and such.
This is for fun, obviously! If you want to bash ingredients/food in comments, go ahead. But please be nice to other people and respect their opinions!
My main blog is @triadecake, if anyone is curious or needs to reach me outside this blog for some reason.
That's it for now, I will be editing this as things change. Thank you for joining me on my quest to look at interesting food!

Hi! Iâm sorry if this is a dumb question or if youâve already answered it, but whatâs the threshold for âI would eat thisâ? Does it count if I would try it but donât think I would like it, or is it more like âwould order at a restaurantâ level?
There has been some thoughts about this over the blogs life, but I say it's all up to the voter!
For me, I click would eat even if I think I wouldn't like it, because I picture it as a potluck or something where you can try things without having to fully commit. I have seen many different ways of voting, and I truly think they're all valid! So my main answer is: whatever makes sense to you!
