Joe, my love, David had mentioned you were here also. It seems like the Stranger Things family are slowly making their way to Mount Meadow. I have to admit I am glad about that, not sure what we’re all going to do once the show officially ends, but at least we can easily have reunions in town. How have you been? Tell me everything. That’s good to know! I never know when I come to new places. I’ve really only been around London and New York City, and in both of those places people can be quite rude if you ask them for directions or get in their way. A bookstore and cafe? That sounds absolutely lovely! Hi, Winona! I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but you are a legend!
I promise this place is nothing like London or New York, I haven’t encountered any rude people anyway. I’m sure there are some lurking around town, but not many. I guess that’s the biggest difference between a town and a city and one reason why I chose this place. Right? I can’t wait to pick a day and head down there to buy a book and spend hours reading it while drinking way to much coffee. Thank you, you’re too sweet. How are you settling in?
mishaplease·:
I haven’t stopped talking about my 30 seconds of fame flirting with Susanna. Please, not nearly as successful as yours and at this rate, I’m considered washed up. I’ve been the same! Busying myself with moving too, actually. I’m going to be living in Atlanta for the next month so I’ve been preparing for the journey. Well, how about this weekend when I’m back in Mount Meadow, we grab something to eat or drinks or both and start on the catch up? I won’t complain if it takes more than one day. I’m sure it has been – it’s not usually the kind of show I would watch on my own but I’m glad that I did. Are you excited for the final season? I’m sure that’s bittersweet.
Funnily enough I still get Supernatural fans questioning me on what it’s like working with you. You have a huge fanbase and they’re so sweet. You shouldn’t be so hard on yourself, you still have a great career and as long as you’re working you’re not washed up. Oh really? Are you out there for business or pleasure? Both food with a few drinks sounds great to me, I would love to catch up with you, just let me know when you’re back. I definitely have some mixed feelings about the final season, I’m excited to get stuck in and have a blast with it. But as always it’s tough saying goodbye to something you’ve worked years on, it’s my first tv show and so no doubt I’ll be a mess on the last day. Not to mention I’ll miss the cast, they’ve been incredible throughout the whole thing.
dvidharbour·:
I know you would’ve because I probably would’ve started pestering you to get out here to at least visit me. Alright, alright! I’m just messing with you – I know you can’t stay away from this handsome guy. Oh yeah, they think they’ve got a leg up on me because I’m the “old man” on the cast but they’re wrong if they think I won’t screw around with them. I’ll catch you up to speed on everything as soon as I can. I’m glad too – it’s always been nice counting on filming and interviews to see you but now we can practically see each other whenever we want. Mount Meadow, beware. It is weird but hey, no need to worry about that now, at least for the time being. You’re right, there’s nothing wrong with that at all, even if we just move everything a couple inches to the left or right. Today would be perfect – I don’t have anything going on in my world. We’ll unpack, catch up and if it gets too late, we can order some takeout. Sounds like a perfect day to me.
Well we both know I don’t tend to leave my house unless it’s for something incredibly special. Good, you know I hate it when you’re so harsh on yourself, it seems like I can’t stay away though. Oh I know it, if there’s anyone who’s going to give them a run for their money it’s definitely you. Yeah, it’s nice to be able to just see you when I want and not have to wait months until we’re both in the same state. Or even in the same country. I just don’t want you to start getting sick of me, especially when we start filming for Stranger Things again, we’re going to be seeing each other a lot. I just heard the news from yesterday’s Expo by the way, congrats on Thunderbolts! You kept that one quiet, but I can’t wait to see the movie and to see you in the superhero costume once again.
huntersevans·:
It seems like we’re in the same boat! I’ve spent the past few days moving in and we’ve gone into town to grab a few things but haven’t gotten to do a whole lot of exploring yet. Now that we’re all settled in It’s first on the agenda! Personally I always like to have enough to share, just in case, but I end up eating it all before the sharing part comes in most of the time, haha. I hope you enjoy it and find a cozy home here, in that case. His name is Dodger! Considering who his dad is you might be a bit familiar with him, haha. ~ Hey, after brunch I gotta have dinner too! We can do dinner if you’d like. As newbies we can do a bit of research about what’s good around here and make a pick together about where we should go if you’re up for it? It’s an honor to meet you. Seriously. I know you’ve heard this a million and one times but the way I’ve binged your filmography would probably be disturbing if I didn’t have ‘I’m an actor I’m doing research’ as an excuse. Timeless, legend right here. I’m a big giant dork known as hunter.
I still haven’t really been around much, just to the grocery store to stock up on the essentials. There’s definitely a few places I want to go to though so I may have to spend a day just exploring around. You and me both, especially when it’s something that you love, the temptation is just too much. I definitely was lucky enough to find a beautiful home here, it was sad to leave my home in San Francisco but it was needed, I was ready for a change. Plus I wanted somewhere a little more lowkey than I big city. Wait, aren’t you Chris Evans’ partner? Awe Chris, how is he doing? I feel like I haven’t seen him in forever. I’m sorry for not catching on sooner. I will be happy to have dinner one day, whenever you are free, just let me know. I’m sure together we can find somewhere that becomes are new favourite spots in town, I already have my eye on a bookstore and café that I’ve heard about. Thank you, it still means so much to me when I hear things like that. There definitely are some actors that I had the same response with, just doing research.
dvidharbour·:
It didn’t take long – you can thank Keery and Misha for that, they’re pretty nosy guys apparently. Aw, come on, don’t start with the flattery, you know you were dreading seeing this ugly mug for the hundredth time this year. No, as much as they can be pests sometimes, they’ve been treating me alright. Things are good, I can’t complain. I just got back from London so I have a lot of stories to share with you about that. Nope, you can choose any night your heart desires – there’s always plenty of room on my schedule to spend time with one of my favorite people on the planet. Are you using the furniture as as excuse to see me or is it actually in the wrong place? Either way, kudos to the people who put it in the wrong place because I was thinking I needed a good reason to swing by. How about I do you one better and bring this cider over and help you out with the rearranging? My place looks like a bomb went off in it still.
Well, if they hadn’t said anything no doubt I would have come to pester you eventually. David, stop with that, seriously. You know I’m always so happy to see that face of yours. That’s good to hear, but I’m sure you would be giving them a hard time back. Please do, I want to hear everything about your time in London, every little detail. Now you’re just going to make me blush with that, but I’m glad we can see each other more often now that we’re living closer to one another. It’s always so weird going from seeing you all day every day, to going basically years without much contact. I mean, the furniture could be in a better place than it is in now, nothing wrong with wanting to see if it will look better somewhere else. I’ll help of course. That sounds good, how about today? I’m only unpacking anyway and I could do with the help, as well as catching up with one of my favourite people.
msfoy·:
“Just a heads up, if you happen to see me wandering about with a confused look on my face, I’m most likely lost. I’m absolutely terrible at finding my way around in new places, and I have just arrived here a couple of days ago, so I have’t had the chance to get out and familiarize myself with the area. Does anyone have any recommendations on things to check out? Spoiler alert, I love food and it’s the key to my heart. Oh, hi! I’m Claire, by the way. I probably should have started with that one. You’re probably thinking ‘who is this strange lady?’”
Honestly, you and me both, I’ve only been here a couple of days and I’m still trying to find my way around. People are really nice here though and if you ask for directions they’re always more than happy to help. That depends on what kind of places you like, but I’ve heard there’s a cute bookstore and café Downtown that I meaning to check out. It’s nice to meet you Claire, I’m Winona.

I’ve had all my furniture and other things sitting at my new place for days, my official move in day was supposed to be a few days ago but things got kind of crazy and with me having to travel to Venice everything got pushed back so now, after a long weekend and an even longer plane ride i’m finally in my new home staring at boxes that probably won’t be unpacked for another week, unpacking is the worst thing about moving to a new place, that and trying to figure out the best places to eat, what’s your favorite or least favorite thing about moving?
@mountmeadow·
Better late than never right? At least you had everything in your home ready and waiting for you. What were you doing in Venice? Unpacking really is the worse, but I just couldn’t stand looking at all the boxes so I had to get it all done, with some help of course. My least favourite thing would be having to pack everything up and empty out a house I’ve had for twenty years. The best part is definitely getting to decorate everything and start a fresh, sometimes change is good. How have you been doing anyway Sadie?

❝ I wouldn’t say I’m new here. Not exactly. I’ve visited Mount Meadow more times than I can count. It’s such a lovely place, with such wonderful people. Now that I get to call it home, during my favourite season of the year, with my dearest friends so close by… I am so happy! But before I head back to the house and make an ill-fated attempt to unpack, first thing’s first: where’s the best place to get a nitro cold brew around here? ❞
I wish I had found this place sooner than I had, but I guess better late than never. You truly did pick a great time to move here, it seems like we both did. I unfortunately haven’t had chance to explore much and find all the best hot spots around town. But if you’ve had some recommendations already please do share.
dvidharbour·:
You’re a sight for sore eyes. I was starting to think I was stuck here with all these crazy kids and then you showed up. I know it hasn’t been that long since we did that run of interviews together but how’ve things been? Taking care of yourself? I think Joe’s got some welcome party planned for everyone but if you want a laid back night with just you, me and a good homemade cider a la David, I’d be more than okay with that. Let me know if there’s anything I can help you with in the meantime – I’m at your disposal, Noni.
[ @wrydcr·· ]
David, I was wondering how long it would take for you to realise I’m here. As soon as I found out you were here it pretty much sealed the deal for me. I hope these kids haven’t been giving you too much of a hard time. Things have been great, what about with you? I hope you’re doing okay. Both plans sound very tempting I have to say, do I only get one night to enjoy this homemade cider a la David or can I chose any night? That way we can do the party and have a laid back night. You know I do have some furniture pieces that were put in the wrong place, you’re more than welcome to come help out, I miss that face of yours.
mishaplease·:
Winona! Lovely to see you in town! You probably don’t even remember me but we worked on a movie together ages ago that you got quite a bit of acclaim for – and I went mostly unnoticed. How have you been? We have nearly 20 years of stuff to catch up on. I’m mostly curious to know about your time on Stranger Things – I recently watched the show and you did brilliantly, as always.
[ @wrydcr·· ]
Hi, of course I remember you, Misha right? We worked together on Girl Interrupted. Oh stop, from what I’ve heard you’ve had quite the career yourself. I’ve been great, just busying myself with moving. How about you? Wow, twenty years is a long time, it’s going to take quite a while to catch up but I’m ready for the challenge. I’m glad you enjoyed the show, it’s definitely been an amazing project to be a apart of.

Moved here a few days ago and I’m pretty sure I’ve solely been running on coffee since. What is sleep? I don’t know. I’m one of those people who have to get all the boxes out of the way and everything unpacked or it’ll drive me insane. Thankfully, I have three little helpers in the form of my sons. Sure, they’re all under ten but they’re angels and offered. Everything is basically done now so I’m going to need someone to tell me the best place in town to get some nice treats for myself… and the kids, too, I guess. I’m Tom, by the way. In a little band called McFly and sometimes I write books about dinosaurs. @mountmeadow·
I think that’s probably most of us on a normal day, who needs sleep am I right? Although I do try my best to get at least eight hours, unfortunately it’s just not that easy. You and me both, I want to be able to settle into my new home as quickly as I can, so I probably won’t stop until it’s all done. Otherwise it’s all I will think about. That’s adorable thought that you have some little helpers, what are there names? I wish I could help, but I’m just moving into town today and so I come with no recommendations unfortunately. It’s nice to meet you Tom, I’m Winona. I unfortunately have not heard of your band, but I will definitely check you guys out. Are these children’s books you write?
huntersevans·:
Open !! @mountmeadow·
Alright. Where’s the best place to get brunch around here? I’m a sucker for a good crepe especially, but if it’s pancakes, it’s gonna be with an offensive amount of whipped cream on top. This whole place is giving the ultimate cozy vibes so for some reason I’m expecting to be blown away by the ultimate cozy fall vibes that pancakes, crepes and coffee possess. It’s also really nice that there’s plenty of room to walk the delicious feast right after, which our dog will appreciate after he’s done glaring at us for not sharing the pancakes he definitely can not have. Haha. Anyway, hi, I’m Hunter, and I’m on the hunt for brunch buddies. You down?
I wish I could tell you, but today is moving in day for me and I really don’t know my way around just yet. Maybe I should have done a little more research before today, that way I could have helped the both of us out. I don’t think you’re doing pancakes right if you aren’t over doing it with the cream and the toppings. It definitely does have the cozy vibes here, which is the main reason why I chose to live here. What’s your dog’s name? Hi Hunter, it’s nice to meet you, I’m Winona and after moving all day I know I would have worked up an appetite, but it will definitely be supper time by the time I’m done.
