I never thought I would be here: alive & traveling the country with a best friend who I love and who understands me, with a girlfriend back home who likes me as much as I like her, with my parents actually proud of who i am, and seeing a part of the world I’ve never seen, and feeling like… I don’t know what my future is or where I’m going, I turn 21 in a week and i thought I would have my shit together by now more than I do, but idk I definitely feel more sure of myself now than ever before. I just… feel good being me! I came out to my parents and they still love me, I stood up to myself to my boss when I could tell I was being taken advantage of and I lost my job that I need & I love, but I’m still in 1 piece and already lining up interviews for new jobs. Idk I’m drunk & feeling corny. I’m just sitting at this campsite on the coast of Oregon & ive seen so much in such a short amount of time, and I’m thinking how everything I’ve seen in my whole LIFE adds up to no more than a sliver of the world! There’s so much world out there! Idk now I feel so happy because I’ve felt kinda like I’m just flailing around in the universe but now I feel like as long as I don’t stay still I’m gonna be fine, even better than fine! I’m just a very enthusiastic person & I think it’s my best quality actually! I really just am always excited about everything I see!!
