❥ Stubborn had always been one of the primary objectives Ayano would use to describe Osana. Stubborn and angry. Maybe she shouldn’t have been surprised that she refused to follow along with her commands - but this was getting frustrating. And Ayano’s irritability was not something she was either good at controlling or hiding - not when she’d never had a chance to feel it before. She chewed the bottom of her lip, watching her classmate struggling along for a few more moments as she wordlessly took a few steps forward.
Bringing her home wasn’t something she was opposed to ( Ray-chan would probably do a farbetter job a stiching her up than some of the doctors she’d known, anyways )….but this girl was just too agonizingly slow. Ayano found herself getting uncomfortable with it. Her fingers toyed with sheathed pocket knife she was keeping on her. She began to look over Osana’s shoulders as she moved forward, her stomach wrenching with paranoia.
Had that creep noticed his captive was missing yet? Had he begun his search for her? If Osana had been stalked and taken once before….it could surely happen again. And this flimsy little blade wasn’t going to be able to defend them if they got caught….Ayano had barely eaten or slept herself with her obsession over finding her again. If anything, the cursed girl was beginning to regret bringing it at all: it was just another temptation to drive it through her Rival’s ribs.
She clenched her fists, unable to pass her bike silently as they reached the few feet necessary to get to it.
“I don’t have time for this, Osana.” she told her - ditching formalities for her first name rather than her last in her anger, reaching over to grab one of the girl’s rope burned wrists “It’s not going to be long before he notices you’re missing. What do you think’s going to happen when he finds us? Put your pride aside, or you’re not going to get a second chance.”
She would then tug her forward- regardless of the other girl’s answer “Now hold onto my shoulders and get on my bike. Don’t make me knock you out and drag you.”
As expected upon sudden contact on her burned wrists, Osana let out a hiss and shut her eyes before hastly attempting to pull her arm away. Although with no effort behind her actions besides her own need of not wanting to be feel weak again.
( Helpess, that was such a horrid emotion.
Impotent. . .not again. Not ever ).
When the ravenette called her by her first name, she didn’t utter a single word; however, honey hues did widen as eyebrows raised in surprise at that last sentence before she huffed, chuckled even. “Is that a threat or. . .a promise, nerd?” Her words came softly as tiredness washed over her, relaxing her features due no further need of keeping an act she never had under these circumstances to begin with.
( It was all part of that act of hers,
be strong to never seen as a damsel in distress.
Make a value of your own, improve yourself ).
“I’ll. . .follow,” Ayano was right, they both had to get away in case that. . .monster, that. . .stalker might be chasing after her and—shit, she would rather let herself be killed than involve someone else in this.
Her conscience would slowly destroy her if that happened.
Wordlessly, she pondered whether it was better to hold onto her shoulders but settled for wrapping her arms on her waist and burying her face on the opposite female’s shoulder.
