MASTERLIST
Look at them. All dolled up for the club, short dresses and long legs, bright make up and sparkling glitter on their chests and arms. In an hour or so they’ll look different — the make up will be smudged, the glitter will fade after sweating on the dance floor. They’ll lose their previous shine and leave the club in various stages of ’drunk’. This is when Joel will get them.
He doesn’t deal with too drunk ones. He’s not into it. He might help their friends to load them into a cab but nothing else.
Joel loves the tipsy ones though. Their glossy eyes, their constant giggling, their wet pussies. Of course, he still needs to work his charm, flash them a playful smile, run his big hand through his salt and pepper curls, flex his strong forearms. They don’t even know it but he’s got them the moment they stare at his bulge. He adjusts the prominent lump shamelessly, attracting their attention to it. Not that they can miss it anyway.
The only visible flaw of Joel is his age. Not every 20 or 30 year old wants to fuck a guy who’s pushing 50. That’s when the alcohol they drank at the club comes in handy.
Here’s one. She stumbles out of Paradise in her high heels like a newborn lamb, tapping on the phone, probably trying to get an Uber, and a few moments later Joel steps out of the shadows and into the pink neon light.
"Hello, miss. You seen my daughter in there? M'supposed to pick her up but she's not answerin."
The young woman blinks at him with confusion so he continues,
"Long curly hair, green dress...No?" Then he pulls his phone out and pretends to check his messages.
"Ugh... Says she's gonna be there for another hour. She always does that." He shakes his head with a deep sigh. "Woke me up in the middle of the night to get her and now..."
It works wonderfully. The hottie sings a long 'Awwww‘, cooing at the older man the same way she would at a cute kitten. He's the world's best dad in her eyes - sweet and devoted, horribly underappreciated by his ungrateful daughter. He's got his hook in and now it's time to reel her in.
"Oh! I can give you a lift. My truck's right here. Can take you to your place and then return to get Bunny."
"Oh my godddd," she squeals, melting at the cute nickname for his daughter. In reality if he called Sarah Bunny she'd probably throw something heavy at him and tease him till the end of times, but this chick instantly believes him and in a minute hops into his car.
Now it's time for the catch. Joel is confidently stirring the wheel with one hand, driving her to the address she's given, and talks her pretty ears off. Not that he needs to do a lot of talking. A few phrases are enough —
'S'not easy bein’ a single dad’
‘Yeah, it's two of us against the world.’
'She means everything to me.'
BOOM!
The girl's panties are on the car floor and she's bouncing on his cock in the back seat. Her whole tit in Joel's mouth, he's swirling his tongue over the salty skin of her erect nipple. Her pussy is tight and soft, the juices are flowing generously around his shaft, her slick is all over his balls, but it's ok — he'll ask her to clean them with her tongue later before she swallows his huge load.
Joel never plans what exactly he’s gonna do to them. He wings it, sees where the mood takes them. Nothing’s off the table but only if the girl’s into it.
Tonight he’s a little tired after managing his contracting company but still drives to Paradise to treat himself. He gets a fresh pack of condoms on the way and a bottle of water. For her. His girls are always thirsty after he’s done with them.
As soon as he sees the pink neon lights of the sign in his windshield, his cock twitches in excitement.
“Shh, calm down,” Joel grumbles, adjusting himself. “S‘too early. Haven’t found anyone yet.”
He knows he will. If not the first will say ‘yes’, then the second. He’s patient. He’s got the whole night.
Ten minutes after he’s here, a group of four women exits the club. Joel is watching them from his truck— their animated chatter rings loudly in the empty street. Joel narrows his eyes, carefully studying the women through the haze of cigarette smoke surrounding them.
He’s not religious but at this moment he prays for one of them to split up from the group. You.
They’re all hot, besides Joel doesn’t have a type, but damn you’re gorgeous. There’s something so captivating about you that even from the distance Joel feels your magnetic pull. “Fuck,” he mutters, palming himsleft, imagining what he could do to a sweet thing like you.
C’mon, ditch the others, baby. Come to daddy.
He fidgets in his seat, seeing the three women hug you, hopefully saying goodbye, and almost fist pumps when they go back into the club, leaving you outside.
You’re alone.
Here’s his chance.
You slowly walk away from the entrance, pulling out your phone out of your bag, and Joel hurries out of his truck.
Show time.
Joel strides to you, not hiding the sound of his heavy steps on the pavement, but when only a few steps separate you and him, his legs freeze. He takes you in and suddenly feels like a nervous teenager who’s about to talk to the hottest girl in school. A doubt crawls into his chest and he frowns.
Should he approach you?
No way you’ll go with him.
Probably waiting for your boyfriend to pick you up..?
”Hello.”
You address him first and Joel’s heartbeat skyrockets, when you set your beautiful eyes on him. They’re full of curiosity, and nervously shifting on his feet, Joel clears his throat and croaks a low ‘Howdy.” You give him a polite smile, waiting for him to talk, your expression calm and warm.
For a second Joel contemplates turning around and leaving, but a playful glint flashing in your gaze puts him back in the game.
He takes a step towards you and starts bullshitting you about his daughter being in the club, but your eyes throw him off immediately. They aren’t droopy or hazy like other women usually have after a night of partying. No, they’re intent and seemingly stare right into his soul. Joel doesn’t like it. A weird feeling is gnawing at his stomach, like his gut’s telling him to back off, but acting on autopilot he pulls out his phone and lies,
“Oh…got a text. She’s not leaving yet.”
His heart is pounding in his chest, sweat beads on his temples, when you tilt your head to the side, your piercing gaze fixed on him.
What the fuck is happening?
All the girls he picks up are hot, what’s so different about you, that he can’t get his shit together?
He’s not getting any usual reactions from you, not a single ‘aww’ follows his deceitful words.
“Would you like a ride?” Joel finally blurts out, not believing for a second you’ll say ‘yes’ after this failure of a performance.
You stare at Joel for a few long seconds, making him hold his breath, until you say something that completely pulls the rug out from under his feet,
“That would be great, Mr Miller.“
…….
‘Mr Miller?’
Fuck!
Fuckfuckfuckfu….
Joel feels like a mouse when kitchen lights turn on - scared, anxious, caught.
He fakes a smile, his hands curling into loose fists, and asks, feigning calmness,
“Do we know each other?”
You put your phone in your little purse, nodding and smiling,
“Yeah, Sarah and I were friends in high school.”
Shit.
“For some time,” you add and tell him your name. He doesn’t remember you but ’Sarah’s friend’ is more than enough for him to back off. You might be sexy as hell but he’s got principles. He chose Paradise specifically because it was far away from his neighbourhood, the risk of running into someone who knew him seemed minuscule, yet apparently it still existed.
“Sorry, it doesn’t ring any bells. I guess I'll get going. Nice meetin you. Have a good night.”
Joel offers you a polite smile and starts walking away. He can’t wait to drive off and forget this fuckup has ever happened.
“Mr Miller!”
His heart plummets into his stomach as he turns back to you.
“Yeah?”
“You offered me a ride.” You remind him, looking at him with those pretty eyes of yours. They lure him in but promise trouble.
“Oh!” Joel rubs his scruffy cheek and curses under his breath. “Yeah, sure.”
Your face lights up and you hurry to the truck. Joel trails after you, leering at your gorgeous ass, but then turns his eyes away with a grunt.
Of course, there was a possibility that someone would recognize him hanging around that club but he didn’t expect it to happen today. Maybe that’s why he felt so uneasy moments before talking to you — his intuition was telling him that you were bad news.
And you are bad news alright — your dress is too short not to stare at your naked legs, your neckline is too low not to ogle your tits, but Joel keeps his eyes on the road with determination, driving you to the address you’ve given.
“Thank you for the ride, Mr Miller,” you interrupt his thoughts, sitting in the passenger seat, and add, “It’s very kind of you.”
Joel shifts his jaw, his gaze piercing the darkness outside. If you talk about him being at the club, it all could end very badly. He has a good reputation in town, he doesn’t need any rumours spreading around. And if it reaches Sarah? The thought makes his stomach turn.
For a few minutes it’s completely quiet in the truck, except for the growling of the motor. Joel’s glad that you don’t wanna do small talk — driving along the empty road calms his heartbeat, taking the weight off his chest. ’It’s gonna be ok,’ he thinks, he'll drive you to your place and then go home. And no hook ups tonight. He’s too agitated.
”Mr Miller?”
He swallows hard.
“Hm?”
“Is Sarah in town?”
“No, she’s in college. Out of state,” Joel mumbles, glancing at you, and sees your brows shoot up as you ask,
“But you said she was at the club.”
Shittttttttt!
Joel kicks himself in the nuts in his mind, his knuckles whiten from how hard he’s gripping the wheel.
How is he so fucking dumb?!
“I… got confused I guess,” he mumbles, trying to dig himself out of the shit hole.
“You said she sent you a text. From the club.”
“No, yeah.. I ..”
Joel’s trying to come up with a plausible explanation, but his brain is an anthill on fire. Nothing comes to mind, his thoughts are a mess.
“You lied to me?”
Joel side eyes you — your brows pinched, lips in a pout, suspicion loud in your gaze.
“No! Why would I do it?” he gruffs but the ire in your tone burns him when you press,
“Exactly. Why would you?”
He turns his head to you and your eyes lock. He should concentrate, should come up with an excuse, but your beauty turns his brain into mush, and trying to shake off the spell, he breaks eye contact.
“I saw that you needed a lift. Wanted to help out.”
The silence that follows his words doesn’t bring him comfort now, it’s ringing loudly in his ears. You must be thinking all of it over and it can’t be good. He’s actually glad when you finally talk, yet his joy is short-lived as you conclude,
”You created that whole story to lure me into your car.”
Fucking bingo!
When you put it like that, Joel starts feeling like a giant creep. But are you wrong? You’ve just described what he’s been doing for weeks.
Your next question hits him like a punch in the gut.
“Are you a serial killer?”
“No, damn! ‘course not!” Joel raises his hand, palm to you, and searches for your eyes, fast to reassure you. “I’ll never hurt you, sweetheart.”
His heart is pounding in his ears —what if you call the police on him…? Tonight feels like a never ending nightmare, and he offers, his voice strained,
“I’ll pull over right away and get you an uber.”
All of a sudden you start laughing,
“No-no-no. I’m not afraid of you, Mr Miller.”
You continue giggling as he’s staring at you, realising that you’re fucking with him.
“I watch true crime to relax, I’m not afraid of serial killers anyway.”
“I’m not a serial killer,” he insists passionately but you continue,
“Besides, if you were” — “m’not!”— “you’re much stronger than me and if you wanted to kill me, — “Jesus, I don’t!— “I wouldn’t be able to fight you off.”
“I don’t wanna … ugh..” Joel huffs, feeling annoyed and frustrated. How the hell did the conversation get here? You’re fucking trouble. He should’ve left you on that street.
“Mind if I smoke?” he gruffs, pulling a pack out of his pocket.
“Go ahead,” you purr, and completely unaware of Joel’s inner tsunami of thoughts, get comfortable in your seat — throw off your heels, put your purse in the back and slightly turn to him, crossing your legs. Joel lights a cigarette and throws a glance at them. Ugh, he’s too irritated to appreciate your naked thighs.
”Then what was it all about?” you ask softly in the darkness of the car.
Joel doesn’t say anything, he’s already said too damn much. Instead he takes a drag in hopes of calming down.
”Did ya wanna hook up?”
Joel scoffs and glares at you.
“No. I— I just wanted you to get home safe.”
“Mmm really?” Your tone’s dripping with doubt. “So you just appeared out of nowhere and lied to me so you could give me a ride? Because you’re such a good guy? No hidden intentions?”
Joel feels that the more he talks the deeper grave he’s digging for himself, so he decides not to respond again and brings the cigarette to his lips.
You sigh.
“Mr Miller. We’re both adults. Tell me the truth.” Honey in your voice sends a shiver down his spine. Are you flirting with him? Damn minx.
”I promise I won’t tell anyone.”
Joel’s ears perk up.
“Anyone?” He repeats.
“Not a soul.”
He stops the truck at a red light, throws the half finished butt out of the window and gives you a long look. You’re fumbling with your necklace, inviting him to stare at your cleavage. Your lips are glossy and enticing, they must feel amazing, the idea of tasting them sends blood to his cock. You’re batting your lashes at him, gaze soft and intimate.
Yeah, baby, you definitely want this cock.
No! He can’t!
Joel averts his eyes and drives. He shouldn’t believe you. He should calm down and shut up. But like a magnet you pull him back with a quiet hum. His gaze involuntarily travels back to you and when he sees your brows pinched, your sparkling eyes pleading, your lips in a little pout, something flips in his brain. He wants to give you whatever the fuck you want, wants to confess all his sins to you. The words jump out of his mouth as if by themselves as he admits,
“I meet women this way.”
Joel braces himself for your reaction but hears none— for a few seconds it’s just silence. When he turns his head to you, you pang his pride with a smirk.
“I knew it,” you state, not a trace of surprise.
Joel frowns at you and grumbles,
“Good for you.”
Looking pleased with yourself you continue,
“So you give them a ride and then get their number?”
“Nah, I don’t do numbers.” He rubs the back of his neck, not saying anything else, letting you come to the understanding by yourself.
“Woahhh.” Your brows rise up as you say, “you just fuck them.”
Clever girl, you got it fast.
Joel’s head darts to you — a playful glimmer shines in your eyes. You both know you crossed a line when that word fell from your lips. And damn, he loves the way you say it.
“Yeah, we have sex.”
You’re nodding slowly and Joel might be mistaken but you look almost impressed. He feels a strange mixture of guilt and pride at your unexpected reaction.
”You take them to your place?”
“No, never. We do it in the car.”
“Ewww!!” You squeal, sitting up and lifting your arms off the seat, as if the whole car is covered in bodily fluids. “You fuck them in this truck?!”
“Jesus, relax, I clean up after.”
Joel shoots you a glare and you lean back, giggling,
“Still eww.”
For some time you don’t say anything, your eyes are sliding over the night outside the truck window. Joel runs his hand through the greying curls as fear tugs at his heart. What if you lied to him about keeping it a secret? What if you’re disgusted by him? Of course, you are. Sticky feeling nests in Joel’s stomach as he’s driving you to your place, but your next phrase makes him forget all about his gloomy thoughts.
“Tell me about the last time.”
Joel turns to you to see if you’re serious. Seems that way — a little smile curves your pretty lips but your narrowed eyes are pushing him to answer. Joel shakes his head with a chuckle.
”No way.”
“Pleaseeee, Mr Miller,” you beg. “I’m so curious. I’ll keep it to myself. Girl Scout honour!” You raise three fingers in the air, and your charming smile disarms him.
Joel rubs his scruffy chin with a sweaty palm, the other steering the wheel. For a few moments it’s just silence until he speaks,
“Promise not to tell Sarah that you saw me today.”
”Mr Miller, I’ve said it already and I'll say it again. I won’t talk to anyone about you and your… hobby. In fact, I got a cab home.”
“Good girl.” The words slip out of his mouth on accident and he curses but the damage is done. When your eyes meet, he sees fire in them. Biting your lip you tut,
“Mr Miller.”
“S’not like that,” he rushes to explain. “I meant ‘good’ that you won’t talk.”
“Rightttt,” you smirk. “So?”
Joel shifts his jaw contemplating his response. If you get what you want, maybe you’ll keep your promise. He needs you to. So he caves in.
“Saw her outside the club. Offered a ride. She agreed. We talked. Then I parked at the side of the road and ehm.. we fooled around. Then I drove her to her place.”
“Fooled around? Nah-uh! I need details.”
Joel scowls at you but your eyes bend his will in seconds. He stares at the road ahead and talks, his voice soft, as if someone could overhear him,
“She was sexy. Was wearin a short dress— kinda like yours. I told her a little about myself… this and that… she —,” Joel clears his throat and continues, “she gave me head. Bent over and sucked me off —right here — and I fingered her.”
He feels blood rushing to his cock, but not only because of the memory. The woman was hot, yeah, but telling you about it— that’s what’s turning him on to the maximum.
Your voice is breathy and barely audible as you ask,
“Did she swallow?”
Your sensual tone together with the question makes Joel’s cock throb, he’s probably leaking into his boxers already as he rasps,
“Yeah.”
“Good.”
The air in the car is now heavy and electric. Joel can’t help but throw glances at you while headlights of the passing cars light up your face, your tits, your legs — the vision sends a lustful shiver through his body. He needs to jerk off when he’s home.
You don’t give him a respite and your next question almost pulls a groan out of him,
“Did you make her come?”
He doesn’t tear his eyes off the road as he replies,
“Yeah.”
In his peripheral vision Joel notices you squirming in your seat and a corner of his lip curves up— he loves that the story’s making you horny. If only he could see you needy, begging for his cock right now.
Damnit! What’s wrong with him? You are Sarah’s friend. He mustn’t think about you this way.
“Ok. That’s enough.” He gruffs and takes a deep breath, trying to smother his own arousal.
“Do they wanna meet you again? After…” You ask, ignoring his last sentence.
“Usually, yes. I give them a random number. Don’t wanna offend..”
You gasp exaggeratingly with your hand on your chest.
“Oh my god! You’re such an asshole!”
Joel can’t help but chuckle and at the back of his mind for some strange reason he wants to impress you. Even with his depravity.
“I’m just not looking for anything serious, darlin. We have fun and never see each other again.”
“Fascinating,” you mumble, your eyes on the road.
“Hmm?”
You seem to be thinking out loud, talking more to yourself than him,
“How d’you do it? Yeah, you’re a hot dilf, but … How do you make them sleep with you so fast?”
Joel grunts but his chest expands when he hears your praise.
“I don’t make anyone do anything. It’s all consensual.”
“Well, they are drunk.”
“Not drunk. Tipsy.”
You hum again and he hates it. Hates how smug you’re looking… how hot.
“You can judge me, I ain’t stoppin you,” he throws with a shrug.
“Who said I’m judging?”
His eyebrow flies up and you shrug your shoulders mimicking him.
"No one's perfect. We all do questionable shit from time to time. Doesn’t mean we’re bad people.”
Joel doesn’t say anything. Your words make him feel warm in his chest and he glances at you, saying softly,
“You can call me Joel.”
“Yeah, I bet you’d want me to, Mr Get-into-my-truck.” You immediately shut him down with a smirk and Joel scoffs,
“S’ not like that with you.”
“Sure, Joel,“ you giggle, sitting up straight. “Can you stop over there?” You point at the corner of the street with your hand. “I’ll walk the rest of the way. Don’t want my dad to wake up and lecture me.”
Wanting to taunt you back, Joel asks, “Ain’t you a bit old to be lectured? Or is he overprotective?”
You clear your throat and nod,
“Yeah, something like that.”
He pulls over and you unfasten your seatbelt.
“I’m gonna watch you, make sure you’re home safe.“
“Yeah, right. Probably gonna stare at my ass.”
He huffs with annoyance but your giggle makes him smile, too.
“Good night, Joel,” you purr, looking him right in the eye. The way you say his name sends more blood to his stiffening cock.
”Night, sweetheart,” he gruffs and you laugh again.
Then you get out of the car and walk to your house.
Just like you predicted, Joel stares at your perky ass. Your hips are swaying so seductively, Joel palms his cock, and a groan falls from his mouth.
He’s definitely going to jerk off.
On the way home Joel’s mind is occupied by you. Your questions and his answers are swirling in his head on a loop. Why has he told you so much? He should’ve been more careful, more reserved. But damn, your eyes, your body, your soft voice… He’d like to do so much more than talking. But, you’re off limits. You know too much about him. Make him feel too much. He must forget about ever meeting you, let alone looking for a way to see you again.
Unfortunately for Joel, you give him no choice when a week later you show up at his doorstep.

The man with the briefcase appeared outside of your shop more times than you would be happy with calling it off as simple timing.
His “visit” schedule was odd.
He would peek within your shop’s windows, browsing mindlessly before disappearing.. The process repeated until he left completely for the night. Always between six and nine post meridian. It wasn’t exactly something odd to do, a lot of people are prone to windowshop. However, stopping numerous times within a day repetitively was worrying.
Your curiosity seemed to peek during the next week of his visits. Rarely stopping by, you assumed he was either a businessman traveling to and fro or an office worker whom stopping by for ideas of his own pertaining to flowers. At least those were the ones you concluded to, as they made the most logical sense.
The coworker you had the…pleasure of working with mentioned him on the side. Claiming that you should report him if you saw him again. He told ‘horror’ stories about how he slapped people at subway stations and smiled like those Kit-Cat Klocks. You digressed, not caring anymore if he was going on to avoid the worry about the mysterious man harming you and instead continue to criticize his person.
Your coworker scoffed, calling for his lunch break (five minutes earlier than usual, mind you) and left you. The bell stationed at the top of the shop’s entrance door screamed in alarm as he left. You’d think the building was on fire. The bell sung a gentle, quieter chime as you lifted your head, waiting to see if it was your coworker coming back in to apologize for the aggressiveness of his departure.
You were mistaken.
There stood the mysterious man with a smile on his face, a briefcase in hand as he stepped forward to the counter, “Good evening, miss.” Even his voice was appealing. You greeted him the same as you watched his eyes dart around, scrutinizing the flowers on exhibit.
Looking closer, your coworker seemed to not be exaggerating when he spoke about his smile.
“Are you looking for anything specific?” His eyes returned back to you, one of his eyebrows raising slightly before settling back in place, “Since it’s spring, we have a more diverse section available. I’d be happy to help.” You’re sure he knew it was, in fact, your job to help; but, it still didn’t hurt ot say it aloud.
His smile seemed to widen, “Do you have a favorite flower that’s present?”
Blinking at the personal question, you didn’t have to look around to answer, “Peony. They’re lovely to watch bloom if you buy a bouquet with younger ones.” You had cared for the peonies present to your fullest, wanting them to be the stars of your shop.
A nod in return. “Then I’ll have two bouquets of those.”
His gaze felt searing as you worked to get two bouquets fixed for him. It was as if he studying every one of your mannerisms, it unnerved you. But you were being stared at by one of the most attractive men you’ve ever laid eyes on, so who were you to complain. Once you finished, he paid with some of the freshest bills you’ve ever touched in life before nodding and leaving. You ran your fingers over them, relishing in the feel of them.
He watched you do so through the window with a saccharine smile forming on his lips.
You didn’t have time to pick up any food, closing up later thanks to a slouchy costumer who took ten minutes giving out an order to pick up the next day. The spring air still seemed to have a chill, and you contemplated using those fresh bills to buy a new coat for next winter. You delicately closed the door to your apartment complex behind you as the receptionist beconned you to come closer, crouching down just a bit so she could grab something.
“A lovely young man left these”, she seemed giddy as she stood up fully, her wrinkles that came with age creasing lovely as she held out the gift in her arms to you, “Addressed to you, fully by name. He even gave a description that made my skin flush.”
The chill that dissipated when you enjoyed the building began to creep up your spine again. Playing tunes against the ridges of it. Those were the flowers, the bouquets, you had fixed Mister Mystery Man.
“They’re…lovely.” “Ah, I know right! You’re a lucky girl.” She seemed to read your shock in positive note, folding her hands once you took the bouquet in your hands, “Take care of them now, miss. This gift seemed one made of affection. Best not let it rot out.” With a curt nod you gave your best smile, turning and shakily reaching into your bag to grasp your keys. What the hell? How did he know your name, nonetheless know where you lived? Surely your coworker didn’t say every piece of information he knew about you to mystery man. Besides, your coworker didn’t seem to be found of Mystery Man, either.
Resiting the urge to chunk the flowers into the bin the second you stepped into your apartment room, the remembrance of how they were, in a sense, your babies seemed to make the situation a bit more morbid. But did you really want to throw out a gift from Mystery Man?
No.
Not because you were scared of the wrath of…whoever he was, but because they were also free flowers. You weren’t one to turn those down, really. Grabbing a vase from one of the cabinets, you went to fill it with water before your phone buzzed in your bag.
Oh great, another annoyance you needed right now.
Huffing you reached within the cavern that was the interior of your bag, pulling out your phone. ‘Unknown Number’. Pursing your lips, you tried to recall anyone you didn’t have saved. Your coworker? Well yeah you didn’t want to be associated with him more than work relations. No one else rung in your mind, but you felt obliged to answer it. Best not make someone else irritated, you could take your own frustration out on your pillow instead of not answering a random’s number.
“Hello?”
“Did you get the gift I dropped off?”
You were going to collapse. It was him. Mysterious Man, the stupid bitch. You could practically hear the smugness floating off of his voice. Your grip on your phone tightened, “What do you want?”
“Do you always talk to people who give you things like this? If so, you have horrible manners.” Says the guy who gathered information on you without consent, “You didn’t answer my question.”
“I think you know I did”, he hummed. It sounded akin to how a satisfied cat purrs, and it made you even more frustrated that you noticed that about him, “Now answer my question.”
Almost expecting to go back-and-forth, he didn’t waste any time responding, “I just wanted to check up on you. A lady such as yourself walking to your apartment alone? Dangerous conditions.” Was there anyway you could reach your hand in your phone and punch him as shown in those 1950’s, 1960’s American cartoons?
“I’m fine, thank you very much.” Gritting your teeth, you cursed the world for putting his presence in your life.
“You’re welcome.”
This guy.
“Goodnight-”
“Please don’t do that.” You paused, thumb hovering over the end call button, he almost sounded desperate, “I promise I just want to talk to you.”
With a heavy sigh you brought the phone back to your ear, “You could’ve just asked, in the shop. I would’ve given you my number. And you wouldn’t have had to do some secret spy agent shit to get it.” He laughed softly the sound ringing in your ears. It sounded hoarse, as if it hadn’t been used in a genuine way for a while.
“You’re entertaining.”
Talking as if you were some circus animal, such a charmer.
“I’ll be stopping by tomorrow, just so you know.”
“At the shop or my apartment?” You glanced out your apartment’s window, squinting your eyes at the figure standing near the corner of the block. Are you serious…
“You’ll see.” With a beep he ended the call as soon as you were directly in front of the window. The figure was clearer. You were right in your suspicion, it was Mystery Man. Waving at you with a smile, you unlocked your window. Opening it and your mouth to speak, you didn’t get a chance before a car passed from one side of the road to another.
And just like that, he was gone again.

"Your girl" - The Salesman x Reader Masterlist
„Life. What even is life? An endless, pointless cycle of moments and memories which all serve the sole purpose of destroying my soul?"
“What is this?”
The words were barely even audible, but you could tell that he heard you nonetheless.
You tried so hard to focus on the box and whatever was inside, to be fierce and angry, but all you could truly look at was the bouquet in his hand. A giant bouquet of white roses, just like you had mentioned before. The innocence for which white roses stood, a heart that was inexperienced in love. The secret language of flowers. You had spent a whole afternoon explaining it to him and he didn’t laugh once, he didn’t even smirk. He had been so enamored with your words and the way your eyes shone and sparkled as you spoke about it.
And now he brought them home to you. Of course he did.
It made the pain in your chest grow tenfold. How was it possible? And why did you deserve this? What did you do to deserve it?
Why now?
Why not a month ago, when you had been confused and angry, sad and disappointed, covered in marks and an air of fear?
Why now?
He slammed the roses down onto the bed and rolled his sleeves up.
Did he wash his hands already?
He cracked his knuckles and suddenly you were sure these last few weeks had been no more than a fever dream. You saw yourself, motion- and lifeless, strangled to death by his beautiful hands.
But you fought. You fought so hard to let the anger win over your fear.
“What is this?”
He hummed softly and took a step closer, only for you to back away.
“Can’t you tell?”
You looked down at the box again. It was shaking in your hands. With a few quick, uneven breaths, you reached inside and began to pull out what would, no doubt, cause you nightmares, if you made it out alive this time.
“Is everyone born with a soul? Do some of us end up losing it during the course of our life? And is the soul even real? If it isn’t, why do I feel like I can feel it breaking? Tearing and crumbling? Every time she touches me. Every time she smiles and says it’s what’s best for me.”
The paper was the most prominent, for it was so big. It was crumpled up by a few times, like someone had read it in a fit of rage and attempted to throw it away - but decided against it.
Your cry for help.
You didn’t need more than two seconds to recognize the text. You had written it quite a while ago and you remembered the day vividly in your mind. Sitting at your desk in your childhood bedroom. A storm had raged outside, like it did every so often and you found yourself crying silently, feeling the suffocating weight of your mothers abuse. After she finished punishing you with the belt for what felt like hours, she stroked your hair in a way that was almost affectionate and whispered: “My dumb, stubborn girl. This is for your best. You should know better than to defy me again.”
She then locked you in your room and you spent the next two hours lying on your stomach, crying into your pillow. Every movement was painful and the depression came crashing like a stone rain. The loneliness was the worst. After eventually you stopped crying, because your tears ran dry, you closed your eyes and imagined, how beautiful would it be? How beautiful would it be, if someone came and rescued you. If someone came and loved you.
Loved you to death.
“The darkness surrounds me like a grey cloud. And I want out. Out, out, out. Please, Lord, let me out. Let me swim in the abyss of darkness and send me a dark prince to swim alongside. Let him be broken, like I am and I promise I will set him free. Let others call him overwhelming, let them call him suffocating. Let them call him all the bad things in the world. I care not. I don’t want for his love to be easy. Don’t let him love me conveniently, passively. Let him devour me whole. Let his soul consume mine. Let him be all-consuming. Let him end me with his love. Let me be his and let him be mine. All mine.”
You spent hours of your childhood and youth daydreaming like that. But the outcome was always the same.
You, crying and alone in your bedroom, sobbing to yourself, because no one loved you.
And no one ever would.
Normally, you’d fall asleep after a while. But not that day. The pain was intense and the humiliation that came with it was even worse. You considered watching a show, but even that felt impossible. Reading? Oh, no. You couldn’t bear it. For once, the lovely romance didn’t bring you any comfort, because it wasn’t your own. It only ever reminded you of how you wouldn’t get that kind of affection. That attention.
That love.
Ever.
So, instead, you moved to your desk and began to mindlessly hit the keyboard of your laptop in an attempt to find some comfort in the words. You poured out your heart and soul, because it was all that you got that would keep you from dreaming of dangerous things.
Once you finished typing and you read over the lines, you did something rather odd. You logged into the website, on which you’d normally be no more than a silent reader, a quiet mouse in the walls, a fly, observing and merely existing. And for whatever reason, you really couldn’t tell, you pressed the upload button.
There was your text, your soul bled onto paper. You stared down at it and…
Nothing.
For another hour – nothing.
And eventually you gave up.
No one would read it. No one would understand it. And no one would rescue you.
You parked it in the back of your head and forgot that it existed.
It wasn’t until three months later that you began to work out a plan, apply for jobs, book a flight in the hopes of finding a reason to live, somewhere across the globe.
And when one of the companies actually considered you – it wasn’t the greatest job, but it was a job and it was a real opportunity to leave – you immediately agreed. You ended up destroying the laptop in case your mother found it and tried to find you as well.
“Where did you get this?” You hissed as you stumbled to your feet, the paper crumpled in your hand. He sighed softly and approached you with tiny steps.
“Don’t you know how the internet works, darling? Once you publish something, it belongs to the depths of the network.”
Your frown deepened. “But why do you have it?”
He raised a brow, something akin amusement dancing in his eyes. “I didn’t think that’d be the thing that spooked you the most.”
“What do you-“
All it needed was a short glance down at the box and you felt your blood run cold.
Oh God, this was even worse than you thought. Far worse.
You swallowed, but your mouth felt dry. With a shaky hand, you reached down and carefully touched what remained in the box.
Your driver’s license. So far, so bad. You had lost it a few months ago or so you thought. Somewhere in the streets of Seoul. But did you really? You had asked yourself more than once. Why would you have lost it? You hadn’t driven a car since you came here. You took the bus, the train or you walked. And so you saw no reason to carry it with you, wherever you went. You were sure you had left it in your apartment, in-between credit cards and important papers, which you still needed to sort out. But why would it disappear from the safety of your home? It made no sense. You didn’t want to be paranoid, so you simply told yourself you had lost it.
And there it was.
Your heart clenched painfully in your chest.
You had lost it, months before you even met him. But this wasn’t even the worst part.
No. The horrifying part was yet to come.
There it was – tiny, little you. Cheeky and toothless, not older than four or five. Your father had still been alive then, that was the reason you still held that spark, that gleam in your eyes. Youthful and alive. Happy, even.
A normal girl. Unbroken.
You remembered the tiny photograph. For whatever reason – it couldn’t be love – your mother had kept it. The picture had its place in the living room of your childhood home, right above the chimney. And there she was, staring up at you - the sweet, little brat that you once had been.
Somewhere in the middle of South-Korea.
And it hadn’t been you who took that picture with you.
He had been there. He had been home. He had been in the fucking house.
Back in the day, when you gathered your most necessary things, you didn’t care about tokens or childhood memories. No, you only took what you could wear, eat or pay with and then you left in a hurry. There were no things like childhood pictures. You were sure this picture belonged somewhere in Yorkshire.
A ring from your jewelry box, a near-empty lip gloss you had worn only for yourself, a hair clip, a teddy bear and was that…
Oh, God.
You stared down at the pair of panties that you had worn far more than once in your life. He hadn’t taken that from any cupboard, had he? The faint blood-stain was self-explanatory.
A wave of nausea caused you to shudder and gasp out. You pulled your hand back like you had been burned and the paper fell from your hand.
He was still standing a few feet away, watching your reaction carefully. He obviously hadn’t hoped for disgust and fear, but that was exactly what covered your expression.
“Oh, God.” You whispered breathlessly. Your blood was rushing loudly in your ears and you stumbled backwards, until your back hit the wardrobe. “Oh, God.”
“Don’t panic, alright? Let me explain.”
“Explain?! What is there to explain?! Did you- Were you in my- Fuck!”
Your hands were shaking furiously and you tugged on your own hair, hardly recognizing the pain as such. The real pain was in your chest and stomach. The real pain stood right before you.
“Let me explain.” He said more firmly and took another step closer, ready to free your hair from your bruising grip.
You backed away and stared at him with wide, crazed eyes.
“Stay the hell away from me!”
He exhaled slowly, obviously to calm himself down. He was pretty good at this now. After all, he hadn’t hit you in weeks. But now, he seemed pretty tempted.
“Calm down.” He gritted out. “Shut your mouth and let me explain.”
A cold shiver ran down your spine and suddenly the curtain was lifted again. This was one fucking Joe Goldberg worthy moment. Just that not even that guy had been twisted enough to follow his victim around the whole globe…Or had he? You hadn’t finished the show yet. And you probably never would, after all, you were as good as dead.
“Why?” You heard yourself whisper.
He ran his hands through his hair, leaving it messy in his frustration. He then took a deep breath and loosened his tie.
Oh, he would strangle you. Creative.
“It…It’s complicated.”
You frowned. Ever since you got here, you hadn’t ever before witnessed him get so…flustered? Embarrassed, even. What on earth was this?
Was he even truly angry?
“Speak.” You hissed out. “Speak, or I swear to you, I’ll-“
He raised a hand to silence you and it worked. Your anger only went as far and the fear won. There was obviously still something inside of you that fought for your safety. Your sense of self wasn’t entirely dead. Only beaten to a pulp. An unconscious one.
“I read your text.”
“Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I’m a sinner and I’m not a good person. The thoughts I have, they’re dark and bad. Too bad for anyone to understand, except for the lonely, broken souls which yearn for the same freedom that I do.”
Now it was you who took a breath to calm yourself. Fucking idiot.
“I then…” He groaned in frustration and kept stalking closer like a predator. “I hacked your IP-address. I found out where you lived.”
The wave of nausea became more and more apparent, leaving you gasping and near retching. You felt your mouth run dry and the room spin around you.
“I saw the pictures on your computer.”
Now, that was what caused you to stumble and your knees to give in. He immediately rushed forward, ready to catch you, but you backed away against the other wall, like a caged animal.
The pictures…
The pictures were for no one but yourself. Just a silly girl, trying on her mother’s dress and playing dress-up in her room. You remembered how the dress made you feel. Pretty in a way…but also restrained. You remembered the way your eyes glistened in the photos. Pretty, but sad. What had made you so sad? The way the dress made you feel. And the way you were so sure that you would never, never feel beautiful in a dress.
Never feel confident.
Never feel desired.
“And then?” You croaked out.
“And then I paid you a visit.” He said quietly.
“Dear Lord, I was already on my way to you. How many times? I cannot count. And what kept me here, what kept me? The hope for my dark prince to come.”
“I sat in a fucking Honda for near two days. I hid behind the hillside, so you wouldn’t get suspicious. A few times, I was sure someone would call the cops on me, but no one ever did. No wonder. Your next neighbors lived like a whole mile away. I remember getting so angry and thinking to myself, doesn’t she ever leave the house? But that anger quickly disappeared, when I finally saw you.” He smiled wistfully and tilted his head to the side. His smile seemed oddly genuine and not twisted at all. Unlike the rest of him. “Your mother was walking in front of you and speaking to someone on the phone. I remember thinking that you look nothing like her. She radiated such confidence, but not in a good way. More like…More like someone who takes up all the space in a room. Who sucks out all the air and doesn’t care that she leaves everyone else to suffocate. That bratty make-up and the way she swayed her hips and wiggled her ass around like a dumb dog. Repulsive.”
He sounded so angry.
It left you feeling oddly confused…and somehow comforted. Your first reaction was to be angry and horrified, because he followed you and stalked you all the way back to England. But the way he spoke about your mother, it made you feel so…seen. It was exactly how you saw her. So, you just stood and listened.
“You were different.” He hummed softly. “You looked so fragile compared to her. Like every step you took was a high risk. I didn’t understand it. I kept thinking how beautiful you are. Sad, sure. But beautiful. I kept asking myself why you wouldn’t see that. What a waste.”
Your heart was racing in your chest. It didn’t make any sense. Not a single word that left his mouth made any sense. His actions were a lost cause anyway, but his mind was worse. Whenever you felt like you understood him, he quickly made sure you didn’t. And now everything was different. All that was gone, right? He was a fucking stalker.
He was a murderer. You knew that since you first met him, knowingly, but at least he was open about that.
This, right here. This was a lie. A big, messed up, mean lie.
“None of this makes any sense.” You somehow choked out. “You read a text I wrote and saw a picture of me and that made you travel all the way to England? And why are we- Why am I here? Did you-“
“Let me finish.” He was now close enough to reach out a hand and touch you, but he didn’t. There he was again. The man who was so strangely adamant not to force himself on you.
Was there a reason for that? Would he ever tell you?
Your chest heaved rapidly with every breath you took. You knew there was no way out, except right through. So, you nodded.
Lord, help me.
“All I want is for someone to love me…and to love him in return.”
“I went inside and…” He glanced at the box and smiled to himself. “I know I went a little overboard, alright?” He sighed softly. “But can’t you see it? We’re made for each other.”
“You’re a stalker.” You said quietly. A part of you feared his reaction. But another part of you, the stronger one in this case, feared something else far more.
No matter what he did to you so far – he always seemed clear about it. He had never once come off as confused. Sociopathic, maybe. But he knew what he was doing. He knew that he abducted you. He knew.
But in that moment, something seemed different. And that scared the hell out of you.
He was insane. Of course he was. But his eyes were open about it.
Instead of striking you though, he smiled. A soft smile, with soft eyes. He then reached out a hand and carefully brushed a strand of your hair behind your ear. You squeezed your eyes shut and pressed your back against the wall behind you.
“Don’t be scared.” He said quietly. “Let me finish.”
You kept your eyes closed, but you nodded slowly.
“You wanted someone to rescue you, didn’t you?”
That made you frown and your eyes shot open.
“But that wasn’t you. I made it out of there on my own. I found myself a job. I booked the flight and I left on my own. That wasn’t you.”
He smiled in a mixture of amusement and something else. “Are you sure?”
That gave you pause. “What?”
He sighed softly and kept his gaze fixed on his fingers, still playing with your hair.
“Didn’t you ever ask yourself why you got the job so easily? No interview needed, nothing. They just hired you. Some little girl from England with no experience, except for what she learned in school.” He spoke calmly and softly. And you felt another shiver run down your spine, but not in the same way as it did, when he kissed your neck.
That memory suddenly seemed awfully distant.
Did that even really happen?
“What are you talking about? How would you-“
He shot you a long, suggestive look, his lips twitching treacherously.
“My computer.” You said quietly.
He nodded. “I told you, darling. It’s all in the network.”
“But how did you make them hire me?”
“It wasn’t that hard. Enough money can buy you anything these days.”
You swallowed. “Alright. So, you bribed them to hire me. What else?”
He hummed, feigning thoughtfulness. “Your mother came home late the day you left, didn’t she?”
Your eyes widened. “Is she-“
“No.” He said firmly and slowly shook his head. “No. She just had another client, unexpectedly.”
You took a deep, shaky breath. You were a horrible person. Your thoughts were dark and came from a bad place.
“Good.” You whispered. He raised a brow, like he didn’t believe you. It wasn’t too hard, he could read you like a picture book.
You glanced down at the box again. “So, you were in my house. My computer, my job. What about the rest?”
He smirked and looked down for a moment. “You have something specific in mind, don’t you?”
“Didn’t you care about the blood?” You didn’t know why that triggered you so much. Almost more so than the job. Maybe he had altered your brain chemistry so much, that you now thought insane things to be normal. Twisted ways to be expected. Bad to be good.
“You think I’m scared of a little blood?” He bit his lip and slowly shook his head. “Me?”
You wanted to laugh. It was so ridiculous. Everything was. This whole situation was so sick and at the same time, he was cracking jokes?
“Did you forget that my own desires are rather twisted?” He sighed softly. “I just wanted to be close to you. To feel you. And that was all I had at the time. Except for that one time in your apartment, of course.”
You tried to swallow, but the was no saliva. You tried to breathe, but there was no air.
When you saw the driver’s license, you had assumed as much. But you had also assumed that he had broken in, while you were at work or anywhere else. Not at home.
“Where was I?” You whispered shakily.
“Asleep.” He murmured. “Like an angel.”
You closed your eyes and held onto the wall, but this time he didn’t let you back away and instead he caught you. He pressed his palms against your hips and wrapped an arm around your waist. “Careful.” He whispered.
“Did you…” You swallowed heavily. “Did you touch me?”
His calm expression turned into a frown and he pulled his head back to get a better look at your face. “No.” He said in a tone of voice that made it obvious how offended he felt.
“Forgive me!” You snapped back angrily. “How silly of me to assume!”
He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, but he took another slow breath to calm himself down. Whatever he did, it was working. His expression relaxed.
“I didn’t touch you.” He said quietly. “I just watched you for a while.”
“Why did you wait so long?”
“What?”
“Why did it take you so long to…” You gestured around the room.
He hummed thoughtfully. “I don’t know. I didn’t want for things to go this way. I wanted to…to meet you. To speak to you. To take you out for coffee maybe. But…I just…”
You listened to him with a patience that surprised you. Of course you wanted to be angry with him, because you knew, despite the mess in your head, that would have been the right way to react. And you were angry. But you weren’t really angry, because he broke in or followed you. Because he stole your things or pulled the strings of your life like you were some dumb puppet.
You were angry, because he never told you about it.
Because he lied.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
His head snapped up and he met your gaze with obvious disbelief. “What?”
You nodded. “Why didn’t you tell me? I had to find out by myself.”
He frowned - and for the first time ever since you had met him – he was truly speechless.
“I trusted you.” You said quietly, without taking your eyes off him. “I accepted your sick bullshit, I took everything you gave me. I forgave you every thing you did to me – to my body and to my mind. I trusted you. And you can’t trust me in return. Why not?”
“I was…”
“Afraid?”
His dark eyes widened and he pulled his head back like you had slapped him. “What? No. Not afraid.”
You scoffed and crossed your arms in front of your chest, feeling far angrier than you expected.
“You slapped me. Punched me. Threatened me. Made me feel like I’m worthless. You deprived me of food, water and goddamn privacy. You ignored me for weeks. And I still forgave you. But you couldn’t even tell me the truth about who you are.”
“Stop this.” He hissed.
“You don’t care for anything except yourself. The only reason why I’m here, is because you thought I was pleasant to look at and pliable. Did you do this more than once? Do you always do it like this? Collect your poor victims online? Is it always people like me, with no family and no one to miss them? Or are some of them more lovable than I am?”
“I’m warning you.” He gritted out between his teeth, his gaze flicking from the floor to your face and back.
“The only reason why I’m here is because you wanted to fuck and me and eventually get rid of me. If I didn’t agree willingly, you would have just taken what you wanted, just like that man-“
“Shut up!” He rushed forward and grabbed your shoulders, pressing you against the wall with, what seemed to be, all his strength. His grip was painful and his movement rough, but the sound of his voice was anything but. It wasn’t an angry exclamation. It was a man, more desperate than you had ever seen before. “Shut up! That’s not true! It’s just not true!”
Your heart skipped a beat and you swallowed thickly. This was either really good or it was fucking bad.
“Then why am I here? Why me?”
His breathing was going shallow and his eyes were wide and almost frightened. It was a sight you weren’t used to at all. He was normally either composed or angry. But never this desperate, never this vulnerable. Not even that one time in the kitchen. Even back then, he kept a semblance of composure, but in this moment, he was too far gone. He looked like he was in pain, like he was aching and you were the reason. This time, though, you couldn’t stop. You needed answers, you needed something.
“Why me?” You whispered again, fighting for air.
“Because I-“ His brows furrowed in a mixture of anger and desperation, while his gaze scanned your face restlessly. He looked like he was on the verge of exploding, of dying, of crumbling into a cloud of non-existence.
“Say it.” You whispered. “Just fucking say it.”
When he still didn’t reply and instead just kept staring at you with those wide, uncertain eyes, it suddenly became too much for you.
“You owe me the truth!” You snapped in a fit of anger. “I did everything for you! I accepted everything! And also, for God's sake, I'm not an idiot! I can tell that there is something, something you want to tell me but your just too afraid to! I don't understand what it is and why it's so hard for you, but, fuck, things are hard for me, too! Despite all this, I never tried to leave, because I didn’t want to! I stayed here, despite everything and you can’t even bring yourself to tell me why you-“
“I love you.”
“Love me unconditionally, love me to death. Love me with his last breath. And I promise you, I promise, I will love him just the same. I will die for him and I will live for him. Let him murder my soul and I will kiss his hand. Let him bathe in my blood and I will apologize for the mess. Let him be as he is, let him be dark, let him be hurtful. Let him suffocate me and I will forgive it. Just let him love me as I am.”
There was no affection in his words. None at all. He bit them out like a curse, like another man would have a degrading slur. The hiss in his voice was all too apparent and so was his anger. There was no affection. Only pain.
You couldn’t bring yourself to care though. All that you cared about was…
“What?” You breathed out.
He closed his eyes and tightened his grip on you. Killing someone wasn’t nearly as hard for him, you could tell.
For a good ten seconds, you didn’t care about the way he said it. But then you suddenly did. And you also cared about the way he couldn’t seem to look at you.
Was he bullshitting you?
Had he just said that?
Was this some kind of twisted mind game?
“No, you don’t.” You nearly spat out. “You don’t even know me.”
His eyes shot open and the look in them was all but terrifying. But again, you didn’t care. You had long made peace with death. That was probably one of the main reasons why you stayed with him and did everything he asked, why your sense of self-preservation left you so early.
You were his girl, after all.
“I don’t know you?” He spat out in return.
“No, you don’t. How would you-“
“Your favorite colors are forest green and apricot.”
He was bullshitting you. It was a mind game.
“Do you really think a stupid color-“
“You never had a boyfriend. Just one kiss. A lost bet. You had your first real crush in High School and it was your teacher. You’re afraid of sharks, but you love orcas. Your favorite food is anything Italian. You hate alcohol. Your favorite book is Wuthering Heights. You favorite season is spring. You favorite musician is that Indie woman and I keep forgetting her fucking name, but you know who I mean. With the long, dark hair. She sounds like she’s crying in every song and she keeps referring to Jim and no one knows if she’s singing about her ex-partner or the drink. Your favorite actress is Sharon Tate. You’re afraid in the dark. You like being called darling. It sounds like something someone would call his partner in a stable relationship. You love Fred and Ginger. The nineteen-twenties are your favorite decade. You prefer Fitzgerald over Hemingway. You cry when you cum. And you love it, when I kiss your neck and call you sweet names, while I’m slowly ripping your body apart. You’re too ashamed to say the word fuck, in any normal situation, but you’d say anything, anything at all, when you’re in the right mood. You wish your mother was dead and you hate yourself for thinking that. One of your biggest fears is birthing a child. You want to write a book. You’re religious. You forgive far too easily, even a sick bastard like myself. You’re-“
By the time he got to the point of mentioning your mother, you felt a fresh wave of nausea wash over you. And suddenly everything was too much. His grip was too tight, the air was too little, your heart beating far too fast.
You didn’t. You didn’t want her to die. You just wanted…just wanted to be free.
Was that the same thing?
Were you horrible like that?
You didn’t even realize you were starting to hyperventilate, not even when he loosened his grip on you and gently cupped your face in his hands.
“Hey.” He whispered. “Hey. Stop. Stop.”
Hot tears ran down your cheeks and he quickly wiped them away with his thumbs.
“Look at me. Look at me.”
He gently tipped your chin up and then wrapped his arms around you, cradling you against his chest and gently running his fingers through your hair.
“Shh.” He made softly, as he gently rocked you back and forth. “Shh. Don’t cry. Please don’t cry.” He whispered.
He was a stalker. He was sick. He was dangerous.
And he knew you.
And he loved you.
He still loved you.
He knew your flaws. And he loved you.
He loved you.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and clung to him tightly, like a child, desperately seeking the comfort and warmth only he could give you. His grip on you tightened and he nuzzled the top of your head, mumbling gentle reassurances and sweet nothings against your hair.
It took forever, but eventually you calmed down.
He made you calm down.
And he loved you.
He cared about you.
And he loved you.
He knew you and he loved you.
After a while, when you finally managed to gently free yourself from his grip and slowly pull your head back, just enough to look at him, he didn’t cower. He stared right back at you, his eyes red-rimmed and his expression softer than ever before.
He was a different man.
You couldn’t tell what it was. But it was there.
It wasn’t just a better mood, a better day, a shift in his demeanor –
It was him. He was different. A different man.
But somehow, he was still the same.
The way he looked at you was the same. Only softer.
The way his eyes shone was the same. Only wiser.
He loved you.
“Do you really mean it?” You whispered, with the innocence of someone who was inexperienced in love.
He bit his lip and briefly glanced down at the floor, before he met your gaze again.
“I mean it.” He whispered back, with the softness of someone who had no idea what love even meant. His lips hovered right above your own and suddenly he didn't seem so bitter any more. "I love you." He whispered against your lips. "I do."
For you, he seemed willing to try.
He would do anything, wouldn’t he? Because you would.
Maybe he would even love you to death.
“Let him love me.”
He loved you.

"Your girl" - The Salesman x Reader Masterlist
It started off small.
The tension in his jaw. The clench of his fists. The way he lingered in rooms he had no reason to be in, as if expecting you to finally give in.
But you didn’t. And then his evil twin took over again. Just like that.
Your books went missing. From one day to the other, you woke up and when you stepped into the warmly-lit living room, you immediately realized it. The shelf was empty. He didn’t leave you a single one.
That same night, when you made your way back to your room in order to cry and weep yourself to sleep, you realized something else was missing. Your blanket had disappeared. The radiator was turned off. And when you tried to turn it back on, it stayed cold.
Eventually, the meal portions became smaller. For each meal, the plate stayed the same size, but it got emptier. In the end, it was hardly enough to feel full. Just enough to pick at it and feel incredibly sad.
And why?
Because he wanted a reaction. A word, a glance, a single sign that you were still there. That nothing had changed, that you still belonged to him. But for once in your life, you were being stubborn, far too stubborn. The moment you realized he would punish you anyway, even if you did things the right way (you didn’t try to escape), you gave up. You gave him up. Gave up whatever it was between you two. Because there was one thing you wanted even more than him.
An apology.
Not your freedom. Not even your goddamn hair.
You wanted an apology.
You knew how incredibly stupid it was to assume he would ever break the façade of cold and ruthlessness, even if it was for you. And after all, he had done his best, hadn’t he? In his eyes, sure. He had.
He hadn’t apologized with words, of course. That was sheer impossible. But you saw it in his actions. The soft touches, the lingering glances. The hesitation in his grip. And the softness in his eyes.
The way he stood in the doorway of your room, night after night, watching and waiting. Brooding. Hoping, maybe.
At first, he tried to play along and approach the situation nicely. You’d wake up and find something sweet on your nightstand. A book even. Back when you told him what your favorite book was, he went and bought it. A hardcover book and what was even worse, an old one. Original cover, worn out pages. It smelled like an old bookstore. It smelled familiar. Like the only home you knew. Words. Phrases. Imaginary worlds.
The moment your eyes registered the title, you felt a sinking feeling in your chest.
Wuthering Heights.
You loved it especially, because, during the course of your twisted childhood, it allowed you some closure. It made your terrible home of Yorkshire feel like more of a home. The thought of Catherine Earnshaw running around the moors, Heathcliff yearning for her, their combined pain and their longing – it turned the battleground of your childhood into something beautiful, something romantic. Like your tragedy wasn’t the only that took place there. It was the birth of something beautifully sad.
At some point, you had told him about it. The meaning the book held to you and how you loved old book stores. Second hand pages and the smell of words.
Of course he remembered it. He was always considerate like that. And back in the day, when you found that beautiful book on your nightstand, covered in dark blue and the title in an innocent white, you almost broke the spell. You almost found yourself running back to him, forgiving him, being his girl.
How could you not? It was obvious that he felt something for you, wasn’t it? Even if he would have rather died than ever admitted to that.
But you stayed strong, for that one time in your life. You stayed true to yourself and the promise not to give in first. Let him feel that he hurt you. Let him feel that he broke your heart, just after he brought you back to life.
You stayed stern. Ignored him during every meal, even though you felt his gaze on you.
The blister stayed firmly in place as well. After you had woken up that one morning and found it on your nightstand, you first reaction had been to feel fear of course. You had almost forgotten about that. You still didn’t know what had occupied your mind to make you do that. What devil had possessed you to stop taking the pill?
He had been so loving at times, so gentle. Maybe it was that. You had felt too safe in his embrace. You didn’t want to ever leave it. And after all, he left you the choice of taking it, right? So, you stopped. Four days you took it and after endless, heated arguments with yourself in your head, you stopped.
Try and live for once.
Maybe something good will come of this, after all.
But then he locked you away. Cut your hair. He didn’t believe you. And suddenly, everything was different. He didn’t speak first. And, God, you wouldn’t be the first to speak, either. If he took every inch of your hair, if he took every last bit of you. You wouldn’t give in. Not you. Not this time.
Of course you missed him. Dearly. You spent your days longing and your nights yearning.
Catherine and Heathcliff.
But you had managed a lifetime without a gentle caress before. Why would you budge now, just because you knew it now?
Eventually he got impatient. And he took the books. The blanket, the food. The warmth. He took your comfort and all the love you felt for him. You felt the loss of his touch, of his love, like a physical reaction in your body. Something was missing. And despite your anger and your resentment, despite the disappointment and the sadness you felt, there was a part of you that wanted nothing more than to curl up beside him, rest your head on his lap and have him read to in this painfully soft voice of his, that made you feel like you were home.
You knew he didn’t do it as a punishment. He wanted a reaction. A cry, a yell, an angry word, a fight even. Everything was better than this silence.
The silence was a living, breathing thing, that took up all the space in the apartment and pressed down onto your chest, hard enough to suffocate you. And to your immense satisfaction, he seemed to feel the same way. Until, finally, he snapped.
You sat hunched over your ridiculously tiny amount of rice and a small broccoli rose. Your stomach grumbled loudly and you knew this wasn’t going to help. But you sat in silence nonetheless and tried to savor every bite.
He stood at the counter and stared down at it, his hands gripping the edge tightly. And eventually, the silence broke.
You heard the crash before you saw it – his plate, shattered against the kitchen wall. You flinched and cowered, digging your nails into your palms painfully. But you still didn’t look at him. Until his voice cut through the silence in a low growl.
“Enough.”
It was enough to make you glance up, slowly and almost carefully. It was the first time that you looked at him in weeks. You had played this game for weeks. And now it was him who lost it.
“Say something.”
You were tempted to. But you stayed strong.
You took in his appearance, the way he looked like he hadn’t slept in a while. His eyes were bloodshot and his charming smile formed into a scowl. You suddenly realized, despite it all, you felt bad for him. You didn’t want him to suffer.
Behind that whole horrible mask, there was something human inside him. Someone who felt pain and who had been through a lot. Someone who had been betrayed and hurt, by the person who was supposed to protect him.
Just like you.
Someone who cared about you, in his own twisted way.
And yet you stayed stubborn.
“Say something!” He growled again and took a step closer to you. He was angry, you could tell as much, but he was also frustrated. Behind the fury in his eyes, there was also a hint of desperation. More than a hint, a whole lot, actually. Despite the growl which was tinged in anger, you heard the softness of a plea between his words.
You opened your mouth and closed it again. Then you slowly unclenched your fists and looked down at the plate in front of you. He would never apologize. Because to do so, he would have to admit that he did something wrong. And he was far too proud for that. He was too full of himself. Also, he preferred getting angry for no reason. Apologizing wasn’t really his cup of tea.
You stayed silent and it tore at his soul. And hurting him hurt you.
When you still didn’t answer, he huffed in frustration and took another step closer. His stance was menacing and threatening. Even though you hadn’t felt the pain he could inflict on you in a few weeks now, your body remembered. It was hard to forget how the humiliation seeped into your bones like a cold, how his fist felt, whenever it connected with your body. The sound of the countless slaps to your cheek, which were echoing through the halls. The sound of your quiet despair.
He gritted his teeth and you knew, you were about to get reminded of it. Somehow you didn’t even expect it. It was almost like he had forgotten how touching you worked. After all, it had been a while. His movements seemed somewhat uncalculated. He reached out his hand above his head, but before he could land the first blow, he froze at the sound of your voice.
“I want to leave.”
Your voice was soft and gentle, small and timid, yet determined. It was such a contrast to his own anger. When he heard it, he stopped immediately. A part of him seemed relieved, like he hadn’t expected you to ever speak again. He seemed to savor the sound of your voice in his head. But by the time his brain registered your words, he frowned and slowly lowered his hand.
“What?”
You nodded and slowly looked up at him again. “I want to go. I want you to let me go. I want to go home.”
He scoffed. “This is your home.”
You shook your head. “I want to leave.” You said in the same, soft voice.
His frown deepened. “There’s no such thing. You knew the deal, when you accepted it. You belong to me. You’re not going anywhere.”
You took in the way he didn’t even look angry. Just frustrated and so very confused.
“I knew the deal. But I don’t want to stay.” You took a deep breath. “I don’t feel safe with you.”
Something flashed in his eyes, something that was equally dark as it was hurt. He hadn’t expected that. He had expected you to fight him or give in eventually, not for you to demand him to let you go. What a silly thing to hope for, right? But it was the only thing you could do.
“You don’t feel safe with me?” He all but spat out. He was disguising his pain very well behind a stony mask of anger and disgust. But you had known him for quite some time now and you slowly grew to lean the different masks and what he hid behind them.
“No, I don’t.” You said quietly. “I did everything right and I still got punished.”
He scoffed. “You tried to leave!”
“No, I didn’t!”
He gritted his teeth and eyed you up and down in a way that left you unsure how to feel.
“Yes, you did.” He spat out. “I had to kill that old bastard, because of what you did.”
His words made you flinch. “You had to?” The disbelief in your voice quickly turned back into anger. He couldn’t mean this. “You looked pretty content doing it!”
“What do you want to hear?” He hissed. “That I made a mistake? I didn’t. You made a mistake.”
You took a deep breath to calm yourself down, but failed miserably. “I had the chance to leave. I even considered it. But I decided against it and I know that you know that!”
He clenched and unclenched his fists the whole time and you suddenly realized how lucky you were, that he hadn’t fully snapped yet. You were sure, by the end of the day you’d end up either dead or with some bone in your body broken. But so far, he did really well in his attempts to stay calm.
It was a dead end. He wouldn’t give in and the only way you could go back to oblivious co-existence was, if you gave in. But you still stood your ground and you realized just how good it felt.
“I saw you there. You stood right in front of the door. You looked at him and spoke to him, instead of- Instead of calling me and-“
That was the moment you realized something. Something that felt like a bucket of ice water on your head. Your heart squeezed tightly in your chest and the sinking, painful feeling of disappointment left you nearly breathless.
“You knew that I didn’t try to leave.”
The words were barely audible. You might as well have thought them in your head, but no. He heard you. You could tell by the way he stiffened and couldn’t meet your eyes.
“Oh my God!”
“Don’t be fucking ridiculous!” He growled and suddenly he looked very determined. But his eyes told another story. “You tried to leave!”
“Oh my God!” You jumped up and glared at him with every ounce of anger you could find in yourself. “Why the Hell did you cut my hair then?!”
He pointed his index finger at you. “Because you deceived me.”
You ignored his words, too caught up in a haze of disbelief and fury. “Why did you ignore me all this time?” You nearly asked yourself that. “And the fucking pill?! What business did you have placing it there, while I was asleep? You knew I didn’t do anything wrong! That’s why you hesitated! That’s why you were suddenly so nice to me!”
“Shut your fucking mouth or I will shut it for you!”
“What did you punish me for then?!” You felt angry tears sting your eyes as you took a step closer to him. The part of you that longed for him still did. You hadn’t felt him so close to you in weeks. The warmth of his skin, the faint smell of his cologne surrounded you like a warm hug.
“You nearly killed me!” You snapped at him, very unlike yourself. Your sense of self-preservation was suddenly near-dead. All you wanted was for him to answer your question. “Why?!”
His expression was the same mix of frustration and anger. But his anger became more and more apparent. You knew he wouldn’t need much more and he would explode. Would he break your nose? Would he squash your kidney? Or would he finally finish what he started that day and choke you to death?
“One more word.” He hissed as he towered over you, ready to strike.
He hadn’t hit you yet. He wasn’t even yelling. He was just…
Was he just…
“Oh my God.” Your voice was barely audible, just a small whisper, hardly to be heard under the sound of his heavy breathing. “Oh my God, you didn’t punish me, because I tried to leave.”
He frowned and shook his head. “What are you fantasizing about now? What are you cooking up in your-“
“You did it, because of what I said to you.”
The second you realized it was the same second your anger suddenly vanished. You were obviously still angry. Mostly so, because he ignored you for so long, without really ignoring you. But you weren’t furious anymore. You were more…curious. Disappointed. And sad.
But the second you said it, you saw a brief flash of something in his eyes. You couldn’t quite tell what it was. You had seen that in him once or twice. But it always left as quickly as it came. And suddenly you were certain.
“You punished me, because of what I said to you.” You said firmly.
I love you. I love you. I love you.
He scoffed. “Stop being an idiot. Stop acting like anything you could say to me would ever be enough to influence my actions. You’re nothing! I told you that! You’re-“
“Then let me go.”
He stopped and regarded you with a frown. But he was slightly calmer now, all the while you sounded almost panicked.
If he did all these vile things to you, when you were no more than a stranger to him…
What would he do to you, if you were more than that?
If he was comfortable around you?
And why on earth were you allowing it?
It was like someone suddenly pulled up a curtain in the fog that was your brain and you realized, something was wrong.
You had had no chance to escape your mother. After all, you had been no more than a child and she was your mother. Nowhere to flee and no one to rescue you. You spent your life begging and pleading and hoping to find a way to finally break free.
But this.
This.
You were letting it happen. It was you.
You were allowing this. You knew what he was doing to you and you still let him. You let him touch and kiss you and even take you.
Your first time had been with the same man, who slapped the living hell out of you. Who punched your gut and left you tied to the bed, your bladder ready to explode in pain and humiliation. The man who called you vile names. The man who committed heinous crimes on you. On your body and mind.
What were you doing?
What, for God’s sake, were you doing?
Your eyes widened impossibly and you backed away against the counter.
“I don’t want this.” You gasped out. “I don’t want any of this. I want to go home. Let me go home.”
His frown deepened. You suddenly realized, you had no idea who he was.
“Why are you suddenly…”
You saw yourself. Years from now. Tied to a bed, your body bruised and battered. Maybe there was a child on the way. Maybe you already had one. Or three. Or seven. Who could tell? Maybe you’d make a perfect baby machine. He wouldn’t let you go to the hospital to have your poor, little bastard children. No, he’d make you bear them alone, with no one to assist you but him.
And the children?
God, the children.
What would they have to go through? What kind of miserable life was right there, waiting for them to endure it? You were sure, your mother would probably look like a saint compared to him.
Years and years and years. No one ever got to go out. All they would know would be this place. They wouldn’t ever understand that there was a whole world outside, for them to explore. With kindness, with love. In a way where people’s motivation was positivity rather than fear. Where peace ruled and love didn’t equal pain.
You couldn’t do this, you suddenly realized.
You just couldn’t.
It didn’t take you longer than two seconds to reach for the block. He had stopped being careful around you approximately by the time you allowed him to use you as he pleased.
You forgot the way his lips felt on yours, the second your fingers curled around the handle of the knife.
His eyes shot open and he rushed forward, ready to beat you to it. He wouldn’t let you stab him, no matter how careful he was.
Silly man.
That wasn’t your intention.
You took a step to the side, your back pressed against the wall and raised your hand. The cold metal felt uncomfortable against your neck. The feeling was unwanted and unwelcome, but if it was indeed your only out, oh God, you would take it.
He froze in his tracks and his eyes widened to a nearly ridiculous degree. He stared at you like you were an alien and slowly held up his hands in a gesture that came close to surrender.
“What are you doing?” He asked in a soft voice. “Give me the knife.”
Your eyes were equally as wide as you stared up at him, the blade tightly pressed against your jugular.
It was funny, really. You remembered at least one time when it was him who did the exact same thing to you. But back then, he didn’t look as horrified. Instead, his brows were furrowed and his eyes half-lidded in pleasure. But now, he looked straight-up terrified.
“Let me go.” You whispered. “I want to go.”
“Darling.” He whispered back and took the tiniest step closer. When you pressed the blade even harder against your skin, he immediately stopped and raised his hands a bit.
“Okay.” He whispered. “Okay. I get it. You’re angry. I understand that. But-“
„I’m not angry!” You felt tears running down your cheeks. You had been here far too long.
“Okay. Whatever it is that you are, please listen to me. Give me the knife.”
“Why do you care?” You hissed. “After all, it was you who almost killed me!”
He took a slow breath and nodded. “I know. But I didn’t, did I?”
“No.” You gritted out. “And why not? What stopped you? What did I say to you, that made you stop?”
He frowned. He was getting impatient, you could tell. “Set the fucking knife down, do you hear me? You don’t make the rules around here.”
But you weren’t trying to get the upper hand. You weren’t even trying to prove any point. Not anymore. All that you wanted was some clarity.
What was going on inside your head?
You choked out a sob and with a shaky hand, pressed the blade harder against your skin, hard enough to draw blood.
“No!” He rushed forward, ready to yank the knife away and shake you back to your senses.
You huffed furiously and took another step away from him, shooting a glare his way.
“Let me go.” You demanded firmly.
“I can’t!” You didn’t expect the way his voice suddenly cracked. It happened so fast and was so unlike him, that your brain hardly registered it.
His gaze was fixed on the small droplet of blood that was trickling down your throat, but you hardly felt the pain. Your chest heaved rapidly and you took a deep, slow breath.
You had to get your answers. You had to get out. Or you had to die. It was the only outcome.
“I…”
You looked at him, your expression trying to gauge what he was thinking. Was he getting angry? Impatient? Was he having violent thoughts? Was he more than ready to make you pay for this?
But his expression was soft. Almost pleading. And you suddenly realized, it was not a trick.
“Please.” He said so quietly that you nearly missed it. “Just stop.”
Please?
Your breath caught in your throat, when you heard the desperation in his soft voice. His bloodshot eyes were so wide and terrified, it was unlike anything you had ever seen in him. He looked so helpless that you nearly pitied him. This wasn’t the same man. It couldn’t be. What had changed?
The only thing that could be heard were your breaths mingling in the cramped space of the kitchen. He kept stalking closer and closer, until your chest nearly touched his. And this time, you didn’t back away. He didn’t seem like a threat for once. He seemed…broken.
“You’re right.” He suddenly whispered. You felt his breath tickle your skin and everything else seemed to fade away. Nothing mattered anymore. Your body longed for him. Yearned for him.
“You’re right. I knew you didn’t try to leave. I always knew.” He whispered and reached out a hand. It hovered above yours, you felt its warmth even through the air. Just a few inches and he’d get you. But you didn’t care about the knife. All you cared about was his hand, gently wrapping around your own. The moment his palm brushed over the back of your hand, you were done for.
You were weak.
The curtain fell back into place.
And the fog, it was heavier than ever.
He held your hand with such gentleness and care, that you hardly even understood what he was doing, until he did it. What he was saying.
To what he just admitted.
“When I saw you standing there…That man right there, ready to take you away.” He swallowed and shook his head, all the while his fingers gently moved yours out of place and he finally wrapped them around the handle of the knife. “It didn’t matter to me if you tried to leave or not. All that I saw was that…You were nearly gone.” He breathed.
The knife fell to the floor with a loud thud. He then kicked it away until it bumped against the opposite wall.
“All that I saw were you. Gone. And God, I…God, I…” His voice was barely more than a breath. And his lips were so close to your own, that you could almost taste them.
His brows furrowed and he used the same hand to gently cup your cheek in his hand.
“You can’t leave me. I can’t let you go. I can’t lose…” He stopped himself.
It took you weeks, tears and anger to realize. He wasn’t angry.
He was afraid.
“Why not?” You whispered breathlessly.
He bit his lip. “Stop this.” He hissed. “I know what you’re trying to do here.”
You slowly shook your head, your gaze fixed on his eyes. “Why not?” You whispered again. You leaned even closer and now it was you who initiated the contact. The moment you felt his body pressed against yours, you were done for. You had spent so many hours craving and dying to feel him again, asking yourself why, what did I do wrong? And now he was here and he was so desperate and God, you were, too.
You never actually wanted to leave anyway, did you? It was just your way of provoking a reaction.
That was what you told yourself.
“Tell me why not.”
He opened his mouth and hid his feelings behind a deep frown. He was obviously still very deep in the game of denial. And you weren’t going to be the one to pressure him. After all, he had his own things going on. You didn’t understand them, but you knew they were there. So, instead of waiting for his answer, you tilted your head up and brushed your lips over his. The touch was barely there, it was so soft and subtle that your body hardly recognized it as a kiss. But when you kissed, he made the most desperate sound you had ever heard. His eyelids fluttered and he dipped his head forward. Craving.
He was your Heathcliff.
He was your desire, your love and your tragedy.
He was all the bad there was in the world, when you live in a world full of darkness. But within the dark, he was also the light that painted the apricot walls of the halls you found yourself in into a warm white. Into all the good in the world. Into a world of warmth.
Warm. Good. Perfect.
A soft shiver ran down your spine when you felt him press against you, desperate for more. But you wouldn’t, you couldn’t, give it to him. Not yet. Despite the way your body craved his touch, you found yourself pulling back ever so slightly.
A strangled sound grumbled in his chest, like he was moments away from having his way with you, any way you could imagine.
But to your great surprise, he didn’t. He didn’t force anything on you, despite his frustration. His need was so apparent, you felt it in the way he breathed and you saw it in the way his eyes bore into yours. But he held himself back.
All for you.
“I didn’t try to leave.” You whispered. It was the one thing that was still between you, quiet and brooding, but oh-so obvious. He had hurt you. He had hurt you far worse than he had so far. Not because of the hair you lost, not because of the way he almost strangled the life out of you.
You had expected these.
But what you didn’t expect was for him to ignore you and make you feel like you did something wrong, when you didn’t.
“I know.” He said after a while. He sighed deeply and gently pressed his palms against your hips, holding you in a tight, near-bruising grip. His fingers dug into your flesh with an intensity that quickly reminded you of how much he needed you. It wasn’t like you were deliberately trying to tease him. You just needed…
“Forgive me.”
Your head jerked up and you stared at him speechlessly.
“You…You’re saying…”
“It was my fault.” He said very quietly. “And I’m sorry.”
Your heart nearly burst in your chest as you stared up at him. You couldn’t tell how sincere he was being. But then again, would he really say that, if he didn’t mean?
Would he say that at all? To anyone else? Ever?
You inhaled shakily and parted your lips in order to make any sound, but there was nothing. Your head was empty. All that there was, was him.
He leaned forward and pressed you against the wall behind you with the weight of his body against yours. His head dipped forward and his lips grazed your earlobe as he spoke.
“Can you forgive me, my sweet girl?” He whispered.
Your eyelids instinctively fluttered shut, when his breath tickled the sensitive skin of your ear. A hard shiver shook your body and you bit your lip to keep yourself from making any more sinful sounds.
“I…Yes.” You whispered back. “Yes, of course.”
He hummed softly and slowly ran his hand along your back, up your shoulders, until his fingertips carefully ran up the side of your neck. He felt the drop of blood on your skin and released a low growl.
“No one gets to hurt you”, he gritted out, “no one, but me. The rule applies to you, too.”
Your eyes stayed shut and you inhaled softly, when his fingertips slowly ran along the small wound. You had almost forgotten about that.
“I don’t know, if I should punish you for misbehaving…or take good care of you, because my darling girl is hurt.”
Your chest heaved rapidly and it only ever got worse, when his hand slowly wandered down along your chest. His hand was flatly pressed against it, like he was feeling your heartbeat. Which seemed to be exactly what he was doing.
“Your heart is racing.” He whispered. “Are you nervous?”
You nodded breathlessly. It had been a while since he last touched you. You had lived in the memory, of course. A few times even more so than you dared to admit. You weren’t normally an overly sexual person (or at least you thought so.) But the nights without him got harder and colder, so that you caught yourself a few times, with your mind on him and your hand wandering down your body.
Pathetic, you thought. But you couldn’t help yourself.
“I missed you.” You whispered, before you could stop yourself.
Of course you expected a satisfied smirk or even that he made fun of you in some way. But instead of being condescending, he hummed softly and breathed another kiss against your lips.
“Show me how much.”
You bit your lip in thoughtful hesitation. A part of you was nearly there, ready to ask How?
But another part of you, a part that you only ever had gotten to know after you met him…That part wanted to be daring.
And wicked.
And even fucking naughty.
You took a shaky breath and leaned in, meeting his lips halfway. This time, he didn’t give you the opportunity to back out. His mouth dominated yours in a deep, desperate kiss. His tongue forced your mouth open and began exploring the warmth of it, meeting yours in a wicked dance.
The moan that reached your ears was enough to make your legs go weak and the fabric of your underwear grow damp.
Slowly and tentatively you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Closer.
Your leg around his waist.
Closer.
You felt the bulge in his pants press and rub against your heat in a way that made you moan in return. God, you were hungry. Hungry for him.
He bit your lip almost hard enough to draw blood and when a pained whimper left your lips, his arousal only seemed to grow and he responded with a low growl.
He pulled his head back and regarded you with a long, intense look.
“I missed you being fucking naughty for me. Look at me.” His hand shot out and he slapped your cheek, before you even realized it. You didn’t even have the time to be surprised about it, because an involuntary moan came over your lips in response.
“Good girl. Be a good girl for daddy.” He breathed. “Open that pretty mouth for me.”
You obeyed without question, parting your lips to allow two of his fingers entrance. Your eyes were half-lidded and desperate as you stared up at him, while he rubbed his fingers over your tongue.
“Suck on them, baby. Show me how much you missed me.”
Your lips closed around them and you began teasing him with your tongue, sucking on his fingers lightly. His eyes immediately darkened and you were sure you felt the hardness between his legs throb.
“My good girl.” He murmured. His free hand wandered down your body, until he cupped one of your breasts and squeezed it lightly. He hummed in response and tore at your dress with impossible strength. It didn’t take long for the material to give in. You ignored the slight pain the friction brought you, because a moment later, he pulled back and ran his tongue along your now exposed breast and sucked on the peak, causing you to arch your back and moan.
“Oh God.” You breathed. “Oh God, please.”
“Beg me.”
“I’m begging you. Please. I need you.”
“Good girl.”
He hummed again and gently nibbled on your skin, before his lips wandered up and found the uninjured side of your neck. Instinctively, you tilted your head to the side to give him better access and he made good use of it, because he kissed every inch of your neck and lightly bit down it. When he did, you moaned again. And you also moaned when he bit down on your earlobe, hard enough to hurt.
You were a puddle under his touch, ready to melt, mindless. He did the thinking for you.
“Touch me.” He breathed.
You didn’t need to be told twice. In a fit of courage, you began to undo the buttons of his shirt. Your fingers were shaking, but you managed to undress him fairly quick. The sight was enough to make you go into a frenzy. You leaned in and brushed your lips along his neck and down his bare chest. Every sound he made, motivated you further. Your tongue glided along his flawless skin and flicked against his stomach, making him arch his back in return.
“My naughty girl.” He murmured. “Did you miss me that bad?”
You nodded absentmindedly, licking a path up his toned torso.
“Look at me.”
You froze, before you quickly pulled back your head and looked up at him with wide eyes. He sounded so stern and determined, like he had just detected some kind of flaw in you, a mistake you made.
Please, you thought to yourself, however you want to punish me, please don’t go back to ignoring me.
He didn’t. Instead he gently ran his thumb along your lower lip and murmured: “How do you want me?”
Your face instantly flushed as you were pulled back into the abyss of your desire. “I…”
“If you don’t choose, I will.”
“Taste you”, you gasped out half a second later, “I want to taste you.”
His eyes darkened even more and he looked at you with a mixture of untamable desire and something akin to pride.
“On your knees.” He growled.
You were on your knees, before you realized it. He undid his belt with nimble fingers and you felt the leather wrap around your wrists. You didn’t protest. If anything, it turned you on even more. He wasn’t being rough about. Not tonight. It was almost like he was trying to decipher if this was what you wanted. After all, it had been a complicated few weeks. He had mistreated you. But you forgave him. And now, now he was trying to be the good guy. At least this once, he wanted to make sure he wasn’t being too rough.
When you didn’t protest and only ever licked your lips in response, he exhaled a soft growl and slowly undid his pants. You watched him with a keen eye and parted lips. You had imagined and remembered the way he looked, the way he felt. But it was nothing compared to the reality of it.
His slacks landed by his ankles and you were greeted by the sight of his hardened length, throbbing and needy for your touch.
“Open wide.”
You parted your lips and stuck out your tongue, while the fire in your body only ever became bigger, hotter and far harder to put out, until it was near impossible.
He took a step closer and you felt him press against your cheek. Your eyes fluttered shut and you inhaled sharply. Just a second later you felt him rub his tip along your tongue, causing him to groan. And you moaned in response.
It was very unlike yourself to be so wicked and let go of any inhibitions like that. But in that moment, you were so terribly desperate, you would have done anything for him. And you wanted him, needed him. Badly.
So, when he began to move and slowly push forward into your mouth, you let him guide your movements, but you acted just the same. He pushed forward, but you pulled back just enough to spit down at his length. He moaned in response and he moaned even louder, when you began to coat him in your saliva, right before you took him back into the warm, soft and wet embrace of your mouth.
His fingers tangled in your hair and he held your head in place, as he began to thrust forward and use your mouth to his own pleasure. His pace quickly became punishing. He was impatient, you could tell. He was desperate, just as desperate as you were.
Had he touched himself and thought about you? God, the thought drove you mad. And suddenly, you felt even more wicked.
You strained against his bruising grip and pulled your head back. For a moment, he hesitated, but then he allowed you, a frustrated groan on his lips.
“Did you touch yourself?” You breathed. “Did you think about me?”
His eyes widened briefly, but then they got surrounded by darkness again. “You stopped to ask me that fucking obvious question?”
“Say it.” You whispered. “Please, I want to hear it.”
“Every night.” He gritted out. “I touched myself every night, thinking about. The only way I could ever cum was when I imagined that I aimed for your face. Your lips. Your tight, little- Fuck!”
You didn’t give him time to finish his thoughts, because you resumed the movement and took him back between your lips, teasing and flicking, licking and sucking on his throbbing member, until the way his eyes rolled back nearly became audible.
You could hardly breathe and he kept his hard grip on the back of your head, while he used your mouth and breathed out sweet words and curses.
“My beautiful…beautiful girl…My cumslut…My whore…My dirty, little…My brainless…Ah, fuck…”
The way he throbbed inside your mouth was enough for you. You were dripping wet and you needed him. With a soft plop, you pulled your head back, which earned a hard look from him.
“Fuck me.” You gasped out breathlessly, your voice horse from the way he had just ravaged your throat. “Please, fuck me. I need you.”
He growled in response and immediately reached down to undo his belt from your wrists. A short moment later, he yanked you up to your feet and pushed you against the wall.
“How?” He growled.
“How what?” You croaked out.
“How do you want me to fuck you? Decide or I will!”
You opened your mouth.
“Too late.”
He picked you up as though you weighed nothing, making you gasp out in surprise. And then he carried you in a direction that made no fucking sense.
The balcony.
You never thought about the balcony, because after all, it wasn’t real in your book. You didn’t get to open the door or try and breathe real air, so why bother to act like it was real?
But he carried you that same way and before you knew it, he pressed something against the sensor by the side of it – a chip? Was it a chip? A card? – and the door opened.
You nearly cried. Oh no, you did cry.
He carried you outside and suddenly you felt the cold air hit your skin. The same air you had missed out on for weeks. Was it months? At least eight weeks. Two months.
It was dark and cold outside, but the city ahead was shining in countless different colors and lights. You had almost forgotten where you were, which country this was. It was so very different from the sight you had grown up to see from your window every night. The cold fog, the storms, the moors. This was different. Another world.
You were different.
You were his girl.
He pressed you against the railing and you choked out a sob. Real air. You breathed real air.
He pressed himself against you from behind, his lips grazing your ear. “How is this?” He breathed.
You swallowed thickly and tried to come up with a response, but it was impossible. You were so high up in the sky and yet you felt like everything was right. Like you were hovering above the sidewalks, the busy streets, the cobblestones.
“Thank you.” You breathed out. “Thank you.”
You heard the way he smiled. “Don’t thank me yet.”
He yanked your dress up, until it pooled around your hips. For a moment you had forgotten how badly you wanted him, but when he pressed a finger against your soaked panties, you remembered it again. You inhaled sharply. You would have closed your eyes under the sensation, but you had to keep them open. You didn’t know when or if you would get to see the real world again, so you wanted to savor every moment. The cars, the bicycles, the life down there.
“Make space for daddy.”
A shiver ran down your spine and you held onto the railing tightly, while you slowly spread your legs further for him. He ripped your panties apart, the sound echoing through the dark of the night.
You felt him press the tip against your entrance, slick and ready, to needy to go slow.
“Oh, baby, look at me.”
You didn’t hesitate to look over your shoulder and meet his gaze. He looked more desperate than you had ever seen him before. And when he finally pushed forward and claimed you as his once again, you had to choke back another sob. Of relief, of need, of desire.
And love.
It felt like the first time again, because it had been so long. He pushed forward slowly, taking his time to fill your body with his. A strangled sound came from your throat and he joined you in that. His head fell forward until he managed to press his forehead against yours.
“My darling, my love.” He breathed out.
My love.
This time, he didn’t take it back. He didn’t even seem to realize. And you didn’t feel the need to pretend not to have heard.
“You’re so tight.” He groaned out and captured your lips in another kiss. He began to slowly quicken the pace, pulling back, just enough so that he got to thrust into you again with renewed strength and ferocity. You moaned with every thrust he gave and you moaned louder, when you felt his fingers press against your clit and rub it.
I love you. God, the words were on the tip of your tongue. I love you.
But you stayed quiet between your moans and gasps, only being interrupted by his groans and grunts.
“You’re so fucking tight.” He repeated. “I want to fuck you all night.”
His pace became punishing yet again and he bent you over the railing. Your head fell forward and you arched your hips against him, seeking more.
He hit every right spot and his fingers against your skin were enough to make you writhe. You moaned breathlessly, the sound mingling with his grunts of pleasure. A few particularly hard thrusts were all it needed from him, to send you over the edge. You nearly screamed out your release when it hit you. It felt so warm against the cold of the night, his warmth seeping into your skin and bones, his hardness sending you into oblivion. Your walls clenched around him, making him go insane. It was all he needed to go over the edge with you. He came with a low growl, filling you with his seed, while your body practically milked his orgasm out of him. He gave another hard thrust and fucked his own release back inside you, causing you to gasp out in a mixture of relief and overstimulation. It felt heavenly and you didn’t want him to ever stop.
Once the both of you slowly came back down from your high and you stopped gasping for air, he tangled his fingers in your hair and gently pulled your head back. He rested his chin on your shoulder and breathed against your ear. Your eyes slowly fluttered open and you looked at the scene in front of you again.
You wanted this. For the rest of your life.
Him. Only him. And the rest would follow.
“I’ll stay like this for a little while longer.” He whispered. “I know that you like it.”
You slowly closed your eyes, your face flushing in a mixture of shame and embarrassment. He smiled slightly.
“You still get flustered. God, you’re sweet.”
He sounded so…normal. So gentle, so sweet, so teasing, like a normal partner would, like a lover would.
You leaned back against him, savoring the feeling of his warmth and his scent, which surrounded you like a warm blanket.
“Can I stay with you tonight?” You whispered. He hummed and buried his face in your neck.
“What a silly question, my sweet girl. I’m far from done with you.”

"Your girl" - The Salesman x Reader Masterlist
You couldn’t tell what caused his change of heart, but you surely wouldn’t complain. Or be the first one to speak. Maybe, just maybe, your pride wasn't all dead yet.
By the time the door was pulled open, you needed a moment for your eyes to adjust to the light that flooded the cramped space. Again, you couldn’t tell how long you had been in there. A few hours? A day? Longer?
All you knew was that you were starving and your bladder hurt like hell.
And somehow you didn’t care.
You didn’t care about anything actually.
The time you spent in the darkness of the wardrobe, pressed against the wall like a caged animal, had served you to think about the mess you found yourself in. A part of you was still relieved that he didn’t kill you. Another part was strangely disappointed, angry even, that he doubted you in the first place.
You didn’t try to leave. And he didn’t believe you.
But what took far more space up in your mind, was the memory of what you said to him.
I love you.
I love you?
Were you out of your goddamn mind?
Surely, it must have been some desperate attempt to manipulate him into caring, so that he would let go. Surely. Surely.
But a part of you knew that was not the truth.
He had his hands wrapped around your neck, ready to end your life then and there and all you cared to say was I love you?
You felt…betrayed. You had betrayed yourself yet again.
Didn’t you possess any semblance of dignity? Of self-worth? Of anything of which you thought that it made you you?
But before you had the time to get even angrier at yourself, he opened the door.
You blinked slowly and looked up at him. It wasn’t the prettiest sight for sure. Your eyes were red and swollen, your face puffy. Dark marks in the form on his slender fingers decorated your neck. A constant reminder of the pain you were in, the danger. Your body was covered in marks and bruises. Like you were a blank canvas and he was a cruel, deranged artist.
You looked at him, but he didn’t look at you. He didn’t even say anything. All he did was stand there, his hand clutching the door handle tightly. You could tell he was still tense, still furious to some degree. This was far from over.
A stronger version of yourself would have tried to talk to him. To convince him. To beg him to believe you, because it was the fucking truth.
You didn’t try to leave. How could he not see it?
But instead, you carefully got to your feet. Your legs felt weak and shaky, from sitting in your kneeling position for so long. You held onto the wall and slowly stumbled out, into your room. Nothing had changed. A look out of the useless window showed you that it was getting dark outside. A day, then. It had been a day.
You sighed very softly and ran your fingers through the knots in your hair. All you wanted was a bath and a good night’s sleep. But you knew that was probably a very distant thought. Something had shifted between you, you could tell.
You didn’t get to tease him anymore, he wasn’t going to read to you either. You were back to playing games and walking on eggshells. You were back in the fangs of the evil twin.
As if to prove his point, he led you out of your room and into the bathroom, his hand hovering above the small of your back, but not quite touching you.
And then your biggest nightmare.
There was no fucking door.
Your eyes widened and your lips parted in a horrified, and yet oh-so exhausted, gasp. A part of you wanted to beg, still. At least for a tiny bit of dignity. The tiniest bit of being allowed to feel like a human being. But no. That was not what you were, right?
When he pointed to the chair in the middle of the room, you knew you weren’t human anymore.
You were a godforsaken Young-hee doll.
You looked up at him with pleading eyes, despite yourself. Despite the tiny, defiant gleam in your chest. But he still wasn’t looking at you. And suddenly you knew no amount of pleading would ever help you anyway.
You wanted to cry. You really did. But at some point in the wardrobe you had your tears run dry and they hadn’t returned ever since. There was only so much a person could cry, right?
With slow, hesitant steps you finally found your place on the chair. Your eyes were fixed on the hole in the wall where once the door had been. You asked yourself what gracious surprises were there more, waiting for you, waiting to be discovered and dreaded.
When he took your wrists in his hand and tied them together with a tight knot in a tie of his, you didn’t protest. All you did was stare straight ahead.
He needed to do this. He needed to prove to you, to himself maybe, that you were nothing. Just like he had said to you, right before you straddled him and took control of the situation in the morning. You were nothing.
Nothing, nothing, nothing at all.
But his hands were gentle. He wasn’t being cruel or forceful about it. You couldn’t tell if that was, because you were being so compliant or if there was another reason. Whatever it was, he was really gentle. Almost ridiculously so.
When you saw him reach for the pair of scissors, you closed your eyes. You really didn’t want to see it. See, what amount of hair would have to go today. In his eyes, you had tried to escape, right? But as much as you tried to tell yourself that, you were sure, he was punishing you for something else. You just couldn’t tell what it was.
“No.” He said quietly. “Open your eyes.”
Despite the way your body begged you to keep your eyes shut, you reluctantly opened them. Of course. Right in front of the fucking mirror. A crazy man and his clueless victim.
If only you had fled.
Why didn’t you? You couldn’t stop asking yourself. Why didn’t you?
And he still wasn’t looking at you.
That was probably the worst part. You felt you were in so much pain, so much horror and he couldn’t even bring himself to look at you? Was this part of the punishment?
You looked up at his face, your expression a mixture of desperation and pleading. And anger. But he never looked up. Never met your gaze. And still, you were sure, he saw you.
He kept his jaw clenched, his fingers clutching the scissors tightly.
Maybe he wasn’t even going to cut it off. Maybe he’d stab and cut you to death. Watch you bleed for his own entertainment and amusement. Maybe this was all you were to him. A cheap entertainment.
He didn’t care about your trauma, did he? Back when you told him about it. Back when you felt you nearly died, talking about it. Back then, you believed it was for some greater cause. To be his. To be free. To be at all.
Now you were sure it was all for nothing.
He took a slow breath, as if to steel himself, but then he didn’t hesitate. The sound and sight of your hair being cut off was like the final blow to your chest you needed to lose yourself entirely.
Again, he didn’t cut off an atrocious amount. You didn’t look like the scary doll yet.
But this time, he cut off double the amount he did last time. And that was nearly a third of your hair.
A few moments ago, you had been so sure that all your tears had dried out, but now you were certain they had not. The slight quiver of your lip was the warning of what was to come, right before your vision was blurred by tears. Your shoulders and your hands were shaking by the sheer pressure you applied on yourself in order not to sob.
He felt it. He wasn’t an idiot. Of course he felt it. But he still didn’t look at you.
And yet, for the tiniest, briefest moment, you were sure, you saw him hesitate.
But that didn’t stop him. He kept cutting the strands precisely and carefully, with a gentleness that was almost mocking you.
He didn’t stop until your hair decorated the floor like a silky carpet. And you felt something inside of you break. It didn’t come at once. It came slowly and stealthily. But you could practically watch in the mirror as the gleam in your eyes faded.
Who were you now? Hana, maybe?
His girl? No. The thought made your stomach churn.
His captive. You were his captive. No more and no less.
And you were sure, that was exactly what he felt as well.
The next few days passed in silence. Neither of you spoke a word to each other. He didn’t yell at you or order you around. You got to sleep in your own bed and he didn’t even try once to approach you. It was a quiet co-existence. You barely spent any time in the same room, unless it was to eat. And even then, most times he had the decency to inform you of the fact that the food was ready and then he’d leave you to it.
He'd go to work in the afternoons and come back in the middle of the night, like he usually did. He only subtly checked out if you were still there.
As if you could just go anywhere else.
But he didn’t speak.
And Hell, you were sure, you weren’t ever going to say another word to him.
The only thing that did change were the missing doors. There were no doors, except for the front door and the one in his bedroom. Of course he got to keep his fucking door. After all, it wasn’t him who got punished.
Despite it all, you found yourself longing. Thinking back to the times you had slept in his bed, felt his breath tickle your neck. The way his arms wrapped around you from behind protectively and pulled you closer to him. The way he kissed your forehead and called you sweetness.
And despite yourself, you were desperate to feel him again. Never in your life before had you ever felt this lonely. So touch-starved. So needy to be with another person. To be with him.
But you knew that was not an option. You had no idea what the situation between you was. You just knew that you hated him.
You hated him for almost killing you, for cutting off your hair. For removing all the doors and for ignoring you.
But you hated him the most, because he didn’t believe you, when you said you didn’t try to leave.
You would have understood his need to punish you, if you truly tried to leave. After all, yes, he informed you of the consequences, right? But, for God’s sake, you didn’t try to leave.
Maybe he was punishing you for the man and the way he looked at you. Like you were some beaten puppy. He had to kill him, right? If he didn’t, you were sure, the police would have flooded the apartment within the next hour.
You almost understood his motives.
And that was what scared you the most.
You tossed and turned that night, unable to find a wink of sleep. He came home later than usual and you found yourself worrying. Had something happened? Or did he finally decide to abandon you?
Maybe he’d come back when he was sure there was no more left of you than a corpse, starved to death. Or maybe he wouldn’t ever come back.
Maybe he found another obsession.
With an annoyed sigh you turned on your back and kicked the blanket away. The jealousy almost ate you up. You ran your hands through your hair and paused when you felt how it was shorter than before. Every time you felt that, you took a moment to remember it. That horrible day. It had taken so much from you. All you actually wanted was to go back in time and for things to be the way they were before. Not before he abducted you. Before that fight, before that scene. Back when he called you my love.
You sighed again and sat up in frustration. The moment you heard the door open, you exhaled in relief. He hadn’t abandoned you. And you felt bad for even thinking he would. But was it truly that unlikely?
You listened to the sounds of him coming back and going about his nightly routine. Everything stayed the same. You heard it all the better, since you had no damn door. You groaned and buried your face in the pillow. He wouldn’t approach you. He hadn’t done so in days.
He wouldn’t hold you. Wouldn’t kiss you. He was no more than a ghost in your book. Or maybe you were the ghost. You had no past, no family, nothing. All you had was him and even that seemed pretty uncertain for now.
You squeezed your eyes shut and hoped you would eventually find some sleep. The sounds of his footsteps and the microwave were like a soothing lullaby and soon you were slowly drifting off to sleep. Exhaustion got the better of you, though you didn’t really understand what exhausted you so. All you did was wander these halls, eat, sleep and read a few pages of a book every now and then.
God, your days were so empty without him.
You would have even preferred to play one of his crazy mind games. Yes, you’d even prefer him to get physical with you. At least that would have required some kind of intimacy. A slap sounded just delightful in that moment. At least he’d touch you then. Look at you. And speak to you.
You were already half-asleep, so you didn’t really hear when his footsteps approached your room. Or maybe, if you heard, you told yourself it was wishful thinking. After all, why would he come here? It was the middle of the night and you were still firmly ignoring each other. Maybe it was better that way. That way you didn’t get the chance to anger him further. Maybe that way, you’d get to keep some of your hair.
No. He had no reason to come close. But he still did.
He stood in the doorway of your room, where once a door had been and leaned against the frame. His arms were crossed and he stared down at your unmoving form. He didn’t make a sound as he stood there. A small frown on his face revealed how thoughtful he truly was and how hard it was for him to hold back. There was obviously something he wanted.
You, probably.
None of this. Whenever you were in the same room, he had this cold, this calm and collected air around him, like he truly didn’t need you. Which he obviously didn’t. After all, he almost killed you.
But in that moment he had trouble hiding it. And he was probably grateful that you didn’t sense his presence behind you. He did that sometimes. He used these soft and peaceful moments to watch over you and make sure you were still there. After all, you didn’t speak. He had to make sure that you were still well and alive somehow.
But that night was different. That night the pull was far more intense than it usually was. He sighed very softly and looked down at the blister in his hand. Only four were missing. Four of twenty-eight tiny pills.
Four days in which you took the active decision against whatever the hell that was between you. It was essential to keep consequences out of the way.
But only for four days. And now, it was the eleventh day, but only four were missing. He stared down firmly at it, before he took a step closer and carefully placed the blister down on your nightstand. With another slow step he took, he hovered right above you. You looked so incredibly peaceful. He tilted his head to the side and watched you with the same, thoughtful frown. With a slow breath that he released, he reached out a hand. It hovered right above your face, his knuckles ready to push your hair back and caress your cheek. You were still so beautiful. He knew the hair had probably broken your heart. He had seen the look in your eyes, the silent tears and the way you struggled to look at him ever since. But couldn’t you see that you were still so incredibly beautiful, so exquisite? That no amount of hair lost, that no scar or mark could ever corrupt your undying beauty?
His frown deepened. And after a breath, he pulled his hand away.
He was already about to pull back and leave, when you shifted. You were obviously deep asleep, mumbling to yourself and sighing against the pillow. Your shirt rode up the tiniest bit and it revealed the skin of your waist. He clenched his jaw. Of course he felt the familiar feeling of desire stir in the pit of his stomach. But, no. Not like this. Not ever.
Not, when you couldn’t even look at him.
The sight of your waist also stirred something else in him. The indescribable urge to murder. To murder the man who once murdered your innocence. What a coward he was. To die, before he got to put his hands on him. Gutless.
He reached for the blanket, ready to wrap it around you, when his gaze wandered to your stomach for a moment. Another feeling took hold of him, far more intense than any carnal desire ever could.
His frown deepened even more and he reached out a hand, but this time he didn’t hesitate to touch you. His fingers rested on the soft, sensitive skin of your belly. You stirred, but only for a short moment. He wasn’t afraid you’d wake up. His thoughts were running rampage and he was too focused on the image in his head. The soft curve of your belly, the life that would possibly grow inside you one day. His life. His flesh and blood.
His.
Maybe it was already there. Who could tell? He had only then found the blister. But you seemed to know for what were seven days now.
His frown didn’t falter as his gaze wandered up and down your form. He exhaled a soft sigh and tilted his head down, resting his forehead against your back. He closed his eyes and bit his lip to keep himself from doing anything more.
You hadn’t spoken in days. He couldn’t just wake you up and demand whatever the hell. Even he knew that. But he still had to hold himself back forcefully. The feel of you, the smell of your skin, it drove him wild.
He hummed softly and leaned closer, close enough to press a soft, lingering kiss against the bare skin of your belly. You stirred again and mumbled something inaudible. He took it that was his cue to leave. With a soft sigh he got up and made his way back to the doorframe. He looked back at you once more, before he left the room.
Only four days. Huh.
You truly were his girl.

"Your girl" - The Salesman x Reader Masterlist
Everything had happened pretty quickly.
Too fast for your brain to comprehend, actually. And a part of you almost didn’t mind, while you sat there, surrounded by darkness.
Some things are better not understood.
He had kept his tight grip around your shoulders, pressing you into his side possessively. You had always known he was the possessive type, the obsessive type even. And a part of you almost reveled in it. The part of you that was jealous, too – and a little possessive as well – would have felt delighted about these circumstances.
But the situation at hand was too tense. Too dangerous. You knew him.
At least a little.
You knew how angry he got over nothing. And this wasn’t nothing.
He kept speaking with the man in Korean, keeping his tone polite and light-hearted. You didn’t know what they were saying, since you knew no more than a few words in Korean. You had spent quite some time in the country, but you simply spoke English with everyone. You didn’t speak to many people anyway. Only your boss, a few clients and him.
They spoke and spoke. Obviously about something regarding the apartment. You could tell by the way they way gesturing and glancing around, pointing at one of the rain gutters. The man kept glancing your way every few seconds though. He tried not to make it too obvious, but you still felt his scrutinizing gaze, sizing you up, trying to understand what the hell was going on.
But not him. Aside from his tight grip on you, he didn’t even acknowledge your presence. You didn’t exist. But you knew, you were more than sure, he was thinking about you. Thinking about all the heinous things he would do to you once you were alone. And you already felt sick.
You took a slow breath, when you heard the Korean word for wife. A subtle nod, a playful smile, a teasing pinch to your cheek. Yeah, you were his wife. Of course.
You didn’t understand what exactly he was saying, but you understood that much. After he introduced you as his wife, you looked at him first, then back at the other man, an unsure smile on your lips. It looked strained and forced, but you did your best to make it look convincing.
But how could you be a good actress, when you were frozen in fear?
The man looked at you again, the tiniest frown on his face. Eventually he nodded and forced a smile himself, directed at him. He smiled back. Tightly. Politely. And you knew you were fucked.
The man turned around, ready to leave you in the fangs of the man who was, no doubt, going to gut you alive.
You hadn’t tried to escape. But you knew he wasn’t going to believe you.
You slowly looked up at him, fully expecting him to knock you out on the spot, but he did something else instead. He still had that deranged smile on his face, when he reached for the candlestick from the dresser. And you were immediately sure.
This was worse than anything he could do to you.
You watched in horror as he took a quick step forward and hit the man in the back of his head with the candlestick. He then let out a pained groan and fell to his knees immediately. Your eyes widened and you shrieked in horror.
“No, what are you doing?!”
Instead of answering, he pushed you back inside and dropped to his knees beside the man, hitting him again and again. Again and again.
Until his head was no more than a bloody mess.
Your eyes widened impossibly and you stumbled backwards, far enough for your back to hit the wall. You felt nauseous. You were sure you were going to…
You stumbled to your knees, doubled over and spat. It wasn’t much, after all you hadn’t eaten anything yet. All you had done was fight with him and have sex with him. No food.
And then that. You reached out a shaky hand to wipe your face dry, but you didn’t dare to look up. He continued beating the poor man, long after he wasn’t moving anymore. The poor, nice, elderly man, who did nothing but look out for you.
A hard shudder shook your body and you heard a desperate sob choke up in your throat. All you wanted was to run. Leave.
Now, you wanted to leave.
This wasn’t real. It couldn’t be real. You were still sleeping. Still dreaming. Having a nightmare. That must have been it.
But no, it was indeed real. You forced yourself to look up and what you saw made you feel even worse. The poor man, still and lifeless, beaten to a bloody pulp. Hovering above him, the curse of your existence.
His hair was a mess and his eyes wide and crazy. You could barely make out his hands under all the blood and his cheek was covered under a thick smear of the same blood.
For a short, serene moment he glanced down at the man at his feet, almost as if he was assessing him.
Almost like he was admiring a well-cherished piece of art.
He looked so peaceful.
Until he looked up and his gaze met yours. All the peace vanished and everything that stayed was cold and unfeeling. Resentful. Maybe even hateful.
You gasped and tried to back away, but the wall behind you wouldn’t let you. You felt trapped in your own body, trapped in his living room, trapped in a life that you didn’t deserve. That you didn’t want. Or did you?
When he got up and rushed towards you like an angry bull, all you could suddenly think about was how disappointing your life had been so far.
When you already had to die, how beautiful would it be to be able to think; at least I lived my life to the fullest.
You couldn’t think such a thing. No, on the contrary, your life had been a collection of haunting, painful moments.
But at least you met him.
You were surprised, when the thought hit you, but it did make sense, didn’t it?
Yes, he hurt you.
Yes, he abused you.
Yes, he treated you overall horrible.
But he did something else as well.
He cared for you. He kissed you. He made you feel so…
So…
My love.
You flinched when he yanked you up by your hair and to your feet.
“No, please!” You cried out in horror and desperation. You were shaking furiously and you instantly cowered down, trying to keep your face out of his bruising grip.
The expression he wore was beyond furious, but all you could really focus on was the blood.
If he killed a man like that, with his bare hands, not even taking a single second to think about it, why would he ever spare you?
“Please, I didn’t try to leave!” You called out in a frenzy. Your voice shook like crazy and so did your hands.
He growled and wrapped a hand around your throat, slamming you against the wall so hard that you instantly felt dizziness take over. You tried to stay present, stay clear, stay you as good as you could, but it was hard under all the shaking and yelling.
“Please!” You now sobbed. “Please, I swear to you, I would never-“
“Shut up!” He yelled furiously and slammed you against the wall even harder, causing you to wince and cry out in pain. “I told you what would happen, if you ever tried to leave.” He gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on your throat. The ability to breathe left you the same instant and you desperately clawed at his wrist.
You were sure you had a concussion at least, but what was far worse, was the lack of air.
He would kill you, you suddenly realized. And this time, he really would.
You kept clawing and scratching at his skin desperately, gasping and crying, while no sounds actually left your lips. You slowly felt your life fade away. Everything faded away. All the colors.
All that was left was his face. His beautiful, handsome face, tinged with the blood of an innocent man.
At least you’d see his face, you suddenly thought. At least you’d die as…
“You’re not my girl.” He gritted out and tightened his grip even more. "You never were."
More tears welled up in your eyes, when you realized, there was not a thing in the world he could have said that would have hurt you more. And now it would be the last thing you would get to hear, right before you died?
How cruel. How incredibly cruel.
“Plea-“ You croaked out, while you slowly felt everything fade into a mixture of darkness and warm, white light.
Was this death? Would it be peaceful? Maybe you would prefer it over life. Maybe you would finally know real peace, real serenity. Maybe you would finally feel.
Your eyes drooped slowly and you knew, this was it.
Your life – or whatever you wanted to call it…your torment? Your punishment? It was finally over. Your time had come. This was it.
At least you died by his hand. You loved him, after all. And maybe you even forgave him.
You most definitely did. He was just complicated. You had always known it would happen this way. You just didn’t know it would happen so soon. You hoped you’d have more time with him.
Only an hour ago you had been curled up on his lap, feeling him so closely, being one with him.
And now it was him who took you out. A part of you was thankful it was him and not your mother. At least it was someone who felt something for you, other than resentment and blistering hate.
Suddenly you felt you had to tell him. Let him know. What was there left to lose? You were already half dead. You didn’t want to die while never having said it.
You had to say it. At least this once. At least to someone who kissed you, because he wanted to. Not because he’d lost a bet.
To someone who’d look at you with soft eyes and read your favorite books to you.
Someone who left you the choice of taking the pills or taking the risk.
Someone who had chosen you.
He wanted you. And you loved him.
You forced your eyes open and met his gaze. He looked equally as angry as he looked something else.
Suffering.
He looked like he was in pain. Horrible, physical pain.
Just say it. He can’t do anything more than kill you.
He could reject you. That would be worse than death. But you decided to be brave, at least this one time in your life. No numbness, no helplessness. Just be brave.
You somehow managed to part your lips. There was no air left in the world. You barely managed to keep your eyes open and your lungs burned like fire.
Your vision was blurred with tears and sweat and fear and peace.
And somehow you smiled.
It was so subtle, it was barely visible. But you knew you did. The most genuine smile in…forever.
“I love you.”
The words were as quiet as the wind on a day in early spring. When the first leaves and flowers bloom between March and April, the wind sings a quiet song and brings earth back to life.
That was exactly how your voice sounded. It couldn’t be heard. It could only be felt.
And he felt it.
His eyes widened in a way you hadn’t ever seen before. He looked so young and horrified. You almost pitied him.
Before you even realized what was going on, you suddenly felt air flood your lungs. He had removed his hand. It dropped to his side as he stared at you, speechless and dumbfounded.
The blood, it somehow suited him. Like it was a part of him.
That, and the craziness in his eyes, was the only thing that made it seem like he wasn’t entirely sweet and innocent.
He looked so terrified.
You doubled over and gasped for air hungrily. Your body reacted on instant, bringing you back to life. The warmth of the white light faded into nothingness and the colors in front of you became as bright as ever. You weren’t dead.
You clutched your throat with shaky fingers and slowly looked up through the veil that was your hair. You were still gasping and panting desperately, but he looked far worse.
He looked…he looked…
He looked so confused. So torn.
The anger was still there, simmering right beneath the surface and ready to bubble up and strangle you. But he couldn’t meet your gaze. Now it were his hands shaking as he reached out and ran them through his messy hair.
You had no time to realize where you even were and what was going on. He reached out a hand, ready to slap you, his teeth gritted and his lip quivering in rage.
Unfortunately you felt far too weak to cower this time, so you would just have to take the blow and continue on living.
No peace in sight. Not for you, anyway.
But he held himself back. It seemed to cost him all the strength he possessed, but he didn’t hit you this time. Instead he grabbed you by the collar and dragged you along, until you were back in your room. He rushed and pulled the door to the wardrobe open, pushing you inside roughly. You stumbled and fell to your knees with a hoarse grunt.
Maybe he’d shoot you, you suddenly thought.
Maybe he’d let you starve.
Maybe he didn’t have the strength to watch you suffer. Maybe he wanted to end you quickly.
You had no time to think about, because a moment later, he slammed the door shut and locked it.
And you finally got to breathe. You inhaled so desperately, so hungrily, dying to breathe real air. But there was none in sight. Not for you.
All there was, was a cramped wardrobe and a girl on the ground, fighting for her life.
You didn’t even hear your own sobs or feel the marks building on your neck.
All you heard in your head was his voice.
And the sound of his silent rejection.

"Your girl" - The Salesman x Reader Masterlist
The tight smile.
It was all you needed to see to know you were in great, big trouble. It was really disappointing though, considering how good the day had started.
When you woke up, right after having a short, restless sleep, you saw him lying beside you. And for once, ever since you had gotten here, he wasn’t awake. No, he was deep asleep. His beautiful eyes shut tightly and his expression one of peaceful relaxation. You hadn’t ever seen him this perfect before.
It was nearly ridiculous. Just a few hours earlier, he had ravaged you in a way that left you feeling sore and used, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, but somehow you had a feeling last night was different. It wasn’t the sex per say. It was the way he got angry and you felt you couldn’t get through to him, even if you truly wanted to. And what was far worse than all of it, was the threat.
The threat.
What did it even mean?
I would never kill you. At least not unless you gave me a reason to.
It wasn’t even a subtle threat. He didn’t try to hide that he was twisted and dangerous. Dangerous for you, if you pushed the right buttons. You had done so quite some times by now, but luckily you were still around. But how much was too much?
What would make his mind go blank and cause him to swing an axe at you?
Shoot you right in the face?
Gut you in the middle of the-
You shuddered and took a long, deep breath to calm yourself. This wasn’t going to happen. You wouldn’t anger him to that degree. And yet, you couldn’t keep yourself from thinking about it.
What could possibly piss him off enough, to trigger such an extreme reaction?
If you went out and fucked someone else?
Or if you spilled milk on the coffee table?
You took another slow breath and looked back at his peaceful, sleeping form. It was hard not to love him, when he was like this. Sweet. Peaceful.
Vulnerable.
You hadn’t even seen vulnerable, regarding him. Not really. You didn’t know his name, his family, his backstory or anything else that truly mattered. All you knew was which buttons to push and it would make him slap you. You had his age. And his sexual preferences. You knew he had some kind of dangerous job, but you had no idea what it was about. And you knew he was twisted.
Utterly and entirely twisted.
But you saw none of that as you watched him sleep. All you saw was a handsome man, the most handsome man you had ever seen, even with the faint trace of a scar on his cheek. You still hated the sight of it. Not because it would have done anything to his attractiveness. No, he was very obviously still perfect. It was the fact that he got hurt.
Someone hurt him.
You were surprised just by how angry the thought made you. He was always so confident. It was his choice to either be angry and take it out on you or to be gentle and spoil you with affection and gifts. But it was his choice. He was the man. He was in charge. He was the epitome of strength.
And someone hurt him.
Him.
A part of you was almost tempted to think yours.
Someone hurt your man.
But you pushed the thought away just as quick as it came. He was hardly your man.
Your bane, your curse, your horror. Yes.
But not your man.
When he stirred slightly, you were pulled out of your thoughts. It didn’t take longer than a few seconds for him to blink his eyes open. When he finally looked up at you and met your gaze, a hint of surprise flashed over his features. But he schooled his expression into a soft smile effortlessly.
“Good morning, my little owl.” He purred. “You’re up early.” He raised a brow and smirked slowly. “Were you watching me sleep?”
Your face flushed, but you didn’t feel the need to deny it. It was pretty obvious anyway.
“I did.” You said quietly. “I couldn’t help it. You looked so…peaceful.”
He hummed softly and propped himself up on his elbows, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear with two fingers. “Peaceful? Doesn’t sound like me at all.”
He didn’t seem angry or even irritated that you watched him. If anything, he seemed amused or maybe even strangely flattered.
You shrugged.
“Have you been up for long?”
You shook your head.
He frowned slightly and held your chin in his hand, brushing his thumb over your skin in a gentle way. “You didn’t sleep well. You look like you didn’t sleep at all.”
You averted your gaze. What could you possibly tell him? That you spent all night, asking yourself not if, but when he would finally snap and snap your neck the same?
“Look at me.”
You hesitated, but eventually you met his gaze again. His expression was one of thoughtfulness and curiosity and you knew you had to give him something. He wouldn’t stop pestering you otherwise. You thought for a moment, before you finally gave up. You didn’t trust your ability to lie to him. He would see right through it and punish you for trying to deceive him.
“It’s about last night.” You murmured quietly.
His eyes narrowed slightly, but eventually he relaxed his expression and let go of your chin. With a soft sigh, he murmured back: “Was it too much for you? Too rough?”
You thought about the best possible way to answer this. Eventually you came up with something you would have hoped would be the perfect solution. “I’m still ashamed.”
“Ashamed?” He frowned.
“Because a part of me enjoys it.”
He hummed softly. “We talked about this, sweet girl, but I’ll say it again and again. You have nothing to be ashamed about. First of all, it’s not your fault you turned out like this.”
“That’s kind of the problem.” It wasn’t a lie. Not entirely. It did bother you. Just that the life threatening thing was worse. “I feel like you enjoy what we do, because you simply enjoy it. And I think I enjoy it, because I feel the constant need to get hurt and degraded, because of…because of what happened to me.”
He regarded you with a long, thoughtful look. His eyes softened somewhat and he was back. The man who supposedly cared about you came back, after a long, rough night. He sighed and rolled over so that he was on his back and staring at the ceiling. All the while he stretched out his arm and pulled you along, curling you into his side. He didn’t look at you as he spoke and his tone of voice was almost emotionless.
You couldn’t tell if you preferred this over the anger. Probably not.
“Did I ever tell you about my father?”
You froze. What? No. He hadn’t ever told you anything about himself that mattered. Let alone his family. As far as you were concerned, he didn’t even have a father.
But all you managed was a small, breathless shake of your head.
He hummed softly and played with your hair as he spoke, still keeping his voice cool and measured. He never met your gaze. Almost like he couldn’t. You couldn’t tell if he was trying to appear nonchalant or if he truly didn’t care. You hoped for the first one.
“My father had some creative ways of punishment.” He hummed. Oh, God. “Similar to your mother, I might think. Just more blood. And a few…other things.”
You held your breath as he spoke, feeling utterly sick. The fact that he had so subtly and smoothly threatened your life last night was suddenly the last thing on your mind.
“Don’t get me wrong, sweetness. I was always a little different from other boys my age. I wasn’t interested in the things the others were. I liked different things. Darker things. But I’m pretty sure, had it not been for my father…” He hummed. “He did some nasty things. Really nasty. And not only to me. To my mother as well.” He turned to face you fully, while you still lay frozen and staring at him with bated breath. All the while he caressed your face and spoke in this soft voice, like he was reading from a children’s book. It was eerie. “That might be one of the reasons why I am always in control.” He smiled briefly. “Especially sexually.”
You just kept staring at him. He hadn’t said it outright and he probably never would, but you could tell there was something. Something dark and terrible, something that still haunted him, even after all these years. And it made you sick to the core. The fact that his father, his own father, had hurt him, it made you feel nauseous. And especially, angry.
“So, I should probably be grateful to him, don’t you think?”
You knew you weren’t supposed to say anything to that, anything about that at all. No matter how terrible you felt, no matter how badly you wished to comfort him. He would get angry, because he would think of it as pity. You were sure. But you still had to say it.
“Your father is a sick man.” You said quietly. “And you didn’t deserve whatever he did to you.”
“Oh, I’m aware, my sweet, darling girl.” His face lit up in a soft smile. “I was just a boy. A twisted one, maybe. But still a boy.”
It made you feel as uneasy, as you felt relieved about it. At least he acknowledged it. He had no fault in his father’s cruelty. At least not back then.
And at least there was something. A tiny reminder that he was human, that he was real, that there was something akin to flesh and blood that made him similar to you. Not the fact that it had happened. Oh no, you would have changed it, were you in the power to. You would have bled and suffered, if only it meant to free him from the burden of his past.
No, but the thought that he told you about it. He had a father. A mother. A family. He had a childhood. A life. He was real.
You lay in silence for a long while. Of course you wanted to say more, to comfort him and hug him. To kiss away the fear he had probably felt as a little boy. You wanted to take him in your arms and make him whole again, puzzle him together until he got reunited with the love he was so desperately missing all his life. What about his mother? You asked yourself. But you thought now wasn’t the best time to ask. You didn’t want to risk making him angry, when he wasn’t so far. He hadn’t ever shared as much of himself. You didn’t want to say anything. And, you suddenly realized, you were afraid to pressure him.
So you said the next best thing. In the silent hope, that one day he’d trust you enough to let you in.
“I’m sorry that happened to you.” You said very softly. His head perked up and his expression softened. No anger in sight.
“My sweet, caring girl. The ghosts of my past are no more than that. And don’t you worry. I got my revenge.”
You bit your lip and rolled onto your side, facing him properly. The thoughtfulness in your eyes turned into something else the longer you looked at him, a mixture of concern and gentleness. He didn’t seem to mind. He let you stare without interrupting your thoughts. It was a peaceful, comfortable silence.
“How did you get your revenge?” You asked quietly, before you could stop yourself.
He smirked and stretched out his arms behind his head.
“I killed him.”
A part of you had suspected as much. But another part of you, the naïve little girl that you somehow still were, felt horrified. He killed his own father. And yet, that other part of you whispered softly in the back of your mind.
Did you expect anything else?
You thought back to your mother. Had you ever had a gun in the wrong moment-
No. Never. You couldn’t kill anyone. Not even a fucking fly. You were the type of person to chase them out of the window, instead of crushing them.
It wasn’t enough to calm you down and he seemed to notice.
“Are you alright, sweet girl?”
You were going to die anyway. Why not speak freely at least?
Forget his father. He’s dead. But you’re not. Not yet at least.
“You scared me last night.”
His brows furrowed. “When we-“
“No.” You said in a soft tone and slowly sat up, wrapping the sheets around your body. “I mean, yes. Kind of. But that’s not the problem. You scared me when you said…when you said you would kill me if I gave you a reason to.” Your expression and your tone of voice were almost child-like. Innocent and curious, not at all trying to guilt-trip him. Just a girl, scared for her life. Her sanity.
Herself.
“Oh, sweet girl.” He said softly as he sat up as well. He reached out to pull you on his lap, but you pulled back. He frowned, but he didn’t protest.
“I was simply-“
“What could get me killed?”
It was so sharp, so matter-of-fact, that it made him pause for a moment. He looked genuinely caught off-guard, like he never expected him to ask him such a question. And like he wasn’t sure how to answer it.
“What?”
“What could I say or do that would make you kill me?” You asked in a soft voice. Your heart was pounding wildly in your chest, but you tried to stay strong. You needed to get a point across. You needed to know.
He thought for a moment, before he leaned back and narrowed his eyes in a thoughtful frown.
“Another man.”
Cheating. As if you really were anything to each other, right?
Such a normal thing. People got killed over cheating all the time, didn’t they?
Or did they really?
“Another man.” You whispered. “Okay. What else?”
He hummed softly. “If you left me.”
“If I left you?” You meant it in a way as if saying; how would I be supposed to leave you? There aren’t even fucking windows here.
He nodded. “When you leave me, you’re no longer my girl. And I don’t have a reason to keep you alive, if you’re not.”
You swallowed thickly. How very refreshing. He was being honest at least. Wasn’t that what you wanted? And you didn’t know if this was better or worse. You had expected as much.
“Anything else?” You whispered hoarsely.
“No.”
Your brows shot up in surprise. “No? If I don’t cheat on you or leave you, you won’t-“
“No.” He said again, in that infuriating, calm tone.
“And if I insulted you?” You couldn’t stop yourself from asking. “If I hurt you? If I-“
“Don’t get me wrong.” The menacing bastard was back. “You don’t get to trample on me, sweet girl. In fact, you know what happens, if you do all that. You’ll get punished. And that didn’t change.” He narrowed his eyes further.
He took a long breath to calm himself and finally said: “I just didn’t want you to be terrified for no reason. I’m sure there are a few more things you can do that will definitely get you killed. So, try not to push my buttons too much. Don’t experiment. Don’t think you get any kind of power. All you are is my girl. Mine. Mine to use. Mine to torment as I please. You’re my plaything. My toy.” He got angrier with every word and you were sure, more than sure, you had done something terribly wrong.
“Mine to use however I see fit.” He gritted out. “Because that’s all you are to me.”
Every word stabbed a wound deeper and deeper into your soul. He didn’t love you. You weren’t an idiot. But a part of you had hoped, hoped so desperately, that you were anything more to him. Anything of meaning. Anything he cared about. Anything he thought about and smiled, when he went off to his mysterious workplace. Anything at all.
But you weren’t. You were his plaything. His fucktoy. His doll.
His girl.
Your face burned in shame and your guts churned painfully. You slowly looked down at your hands and folded them in your lap, while you kept the blanket pulled up to your chin.
“I wasn’t-“
“Yes, you were.” He hissed and roughly pulled your chin up, to make you look at him. “Did you hear me? You’re nothing more than a thing for me to use, a doll, something to dress up in a pretty dress and take my anger out on. Did you get that through your goddamn, thick skull? You’re nothing. Nothing at all.” He spat out.
At this point, you felt indeed like he had stabbed you. The knife was still there on the carpet by the bed. How very reckless. You could have stabbed him last night, didn’t he think about that? No, he was tired or maybe he just trusted himself to have broken you enough not to ever hurt him.
It was true. You wouldn’t ever hurt him. Not like that. That one punch was as far as it could go.
And now, as you sat there and listened to his cruel words, a small part of you suddenly wished he hadn’t bluffed, hadn’t used the knife as a way to find relief in his twisted mind. A part of you wished you weren’t there, to listen to his cruel reminders. The reminder that you were nothing.
Nothing at all.
You felt your hands shake, just the same second your lip quivered.
He was so angry, so furious, he hardly even recognized your presence. He wanted to make some point known.
You understood it now.
He would never love you.
But you? It was too late for you. You already loved him. And he was breaking your heart.
All your life you thought that couldn’t happen to you. You always assumed you were far too numb for these things.
A tear rolled down your cheek and you stared firmly down at your lap. Your hands were shaking furiously and your body shook with the sobs you choked back.
By the time he looked up again and saw the state you were in, his anger immediately disappeared. Something akin to horror took its place instead. He rushed forward without even thinking about it and held your arms tightly, tilting his head down below and staring up at you, to make you look at him.
“Wait.” He said quickly. “Wait. I didn’t mean it.”
You were stuck between pushing him away and letting him console you. But you knew there was probably nothing that could ever bring you back. Your heart, already broken and bruised, had just somehow been pieced back together by him, only for him to crush it again under the palm of his hand, under the cruelty of his words, under the weight of his actions.
You decided to push him back instead. At least for once, you tried to keep a semblance of dignity. It was a lost cause, but it meant something to you.
He let out a surprised exhale, but quickly rushed forward again, trying to get ahold of you, but this time, you struggled.
“Get off of me!”
“No, you need to listen to me!”
“No! No, get the hell off!”
“You need to listen!”
You struggled even harder and pushed him back, clawed at his skin and within seconds you found yourself in the middle of a physical fight. So far, he hadn’t tried to slap you or bring you to your senses anyhow, he just tried to make you focus. And when you hit against his chest or pushed him back by his shoulders, when you scratched his arms and pulled on his hair, he let you. Without retaliating. He let you.
You were just waiting for him to snap. A part of you might even have been hoping to get some kind of reaction out of him, because he had just hurt you so terribly. But he didn’t.
And when you pushed him back against the mattress, he let you.
And when you straddled his lap, he let you.
He even let you intertwine your fingers and press his hands against the bed.
He just let you.
You stopped struggling. Stopped fighting him and stopped trying to provoke anything.
You were on top him, your hair falling over your shoulders and framing your face like a waterfall. Everything else was suddenly gone. All that there was left were him and you. He stared up at you, his eyes wide and his expression one of quiet fascination. Of course he allowed you to take control. After all, all it needed was a tiny bit of strength from him and he’d have you pinned to the floor. But this time, he didn’t. He didn’t protest, didn’t fight back, didn’t even flinch. He allowed you to take the lead. He allowed you to take control of him.
When the thought hit you, you nearly choked on the air you breathed. And you breathed, heavily and quickly, until your breaths mingled into one. You leaned further down, so close that the tip of your nose almost touched his. His chest rose and fell quickly. You could tell, even though you kept your focus on his face.
“You meant it.” You whispered breathlessly.
He stared at you with his mouth slightly agape and then he slowly shook his head. “You’re more.” He whispered back.
More than a toy?
More than a doll?
More than just his girl?
You didn’t want to believe it. You didn’t allow yourself to hope, because if you did, the next time he crushed it, it would be ever harder for you to find back to yourself. And did you really want to risk that?
You shook your head, ready to come up with the next bitter, biting response, when his words caught you off-guard.
“You’re not only mine”, he said quietly. “I’m also yours.”
God, this was confusing. And slowly you felt yourself get as dizzy and nauseous as you would have on a rollercoaster. You hated rollercoasters, because you were afraid of them. You hated them, because you never went on one.
“You’re two people at once.” You whispered breathlessly. “How do I know, when your evil twin will be back?”
He smiled slowly. Even now, even when you felt heartbroken and furious, his smile meant so much to you. It made everything seem beautiful. Everything was easier. Nothing hurt.
Until it did.
“I know.” He whispered. “Maybe you could try and put him in his place, every once in a while.”
You stared at him with wide eyes. Did he really allow you to take control? Just like that? Was it a trick? Was it a game? A joke? Something even more evil he’d come up with?
Whatever it was, you were dying to find out. Because you were sure, you’d get punished anyway. So, why not make use of it?
You took a shaky breath and leaned further down, so close, until your lips almost touched.
“You really didn’t mean it?” You asked in the ghost of a whisper.
His gaze briefly wandered down to your lips, before he looked into your eyes again.
“No.” He whispered back. “Not even I am that dense.”
That nearly made you smile.
But just nearly.
Instead you did something else. You leaned further down, until your lips finally touched his. The kiss was feather-light and hesitant. The touch was so gentle, that you caught yourself asking yourself in your head, if it really was the same man.
He was letting you kiss him. He didn’t try anything. Didn’t try to part your lips or pull you closer. Didn’t try to push your legs apart. His hands were still motionless under yours, all that he did was slowly caress the back of your hands with his fingers.
He participated in the kiss. He kissed you back, obviously. But all he did was mirror your touch.
You were in control.
You gasped against his lips. You had no idea what to do. It felt odd. Maybe even wrong. The only things you had ever fantasized about were to get controlled by someone else.
Controlled by him.
And for you to control him, it sounded like an impossible endeavor. It felt like one, even more. But there you were. On his lap. Slowly guiding the pace.
You swallowed thickly.
“I don’t know what to do.” You whispered into the kiss.
He hummed very quietly. “Imagine I’m the good twin.” He whispered back and pulled back just enough to look at your face. “There is no right or wrong. Just do whatever feels good.”
You bit your lip as you watched him closely. It could still be a trick. But in the back of your mind, you knew it wasn’t. It was an attempt to heal you. Heal him as well, maybe. You were both damaged. Both two fragments, incomplete and alone. Was it possible that you could heal each other?
It sounded strange in your head. You wanted to be controlled. And he survived off the feeling of being in control. But maybe, just maybe, this was what you both needed. A role reverse. A chance to grow. A chance to connote. Just this once.
To become one, whole thing.
You took a deep, shaky breath and brushed your lips over his. You were still nervous. But you tried to do what he said. Just do whatever feels good.
And maybe it would.
You hesitantly, almost shyly, ran the tip of your tongue along his lower lip. His reaction surprised you. He moaned. You really expected him to get off on nothing but cruelty and violence. But somehow the feeling of you, of being with you, in any way, seemed to be enough.
You needed to try it. The shift. The control. Even just this once.
You slowly parted his lips with your tongue and yours met his in a timid, careful movement. He was still the one guiding you. But the biggest reason was, that you had no idea what you were doing. But he was holding himself back. You were on top, pressed against him.
He was yours.
Your man. Your psychopath. Maybe even your lover.
The kiss went on and your movements became more and more confident. You didn’t actually care what you were doing, as long as you heard the soft moans he tried to suppress. And every time he did, you couldn’t help but moan, too. Your tongues tangled in a sinful dance and you slowly slid your fingertips over his wrists and up his arms. Until you eventually reached his shoulders. His neck. His hair. His cheek. His chin.
You hadn’t realized how quickly you were breathing. All the time you expected him to push you away, to reject you, to stop you. But he never did.
Your hand stilled against his face and you pulled your head back to look at him. To see if he was going to stop you. Mock you. Hurt you some more.
But his expression was more earnest than you had ever seen before. You could see the way his throat bobbed slightly as he swallowed and the small, tiny frown of focus on his face. He looked much more mature in that moment than he usually did. When he wore that twisted smile, he looked younger. Carefree. But in that moment, he looked like a man who had seen life.
And death.
And taken a part in it.
He slowly parted his lips, when your fingers stilled against them, inviting you. Your mouth fell open and you inhaled sharply as you felt his tongue dart out.
“God, what are you-“ You stopped yourself and instead released the softest moan, when he ran his tongue along your index finger. His hand gently circled your wrist and he pressed his lips against the back of your hand. Your knuckles. And eventually each finger.
You watched him in awe, realizing you were only ever falling deeper for him.
What was it with that man that you loved him so much, despite all the pain he put you through?
Eventually, you couldn’t take it anymore. The watching, the silence. You squeezed his hand and your head dipped forward. Your lips found his neck and you made a point of kissing each and every spot of skin you found on the way. His eyes fell shut and he took a shaky breath.
“No.” He whispered. “Wait.”
You immediately froze, expecting the inevitable rejection. But instead, he bit his lip and slowly slid his hands under your nightdress. The calloused skin of his palms ran up your back and he gently slid the material up, until he finally managed to pull it over your head and onto the ground. His gaze wandered from your face, down to your neck, where it lingered and eventually further down to your breasts and your stomach.
“God.” He whispered breathlessly. “God, you’re perfect.” He bit his lip again and met your gaze. “Let me worship you.”
A shiver ran down your spine and you tilted your head to the side, only to feel his lips brush along your earlobe and eventually over your neck. You closed your eyes and sighed softly. It was the best feeling in the world.
His lips caressed your neck and his tongue occasionally darted out, drawing a moan from your lips. He moved with devilish slowness, a torturous pace, slow enough to make you melt into a puddle of desire on top of him. A part of you almost wanted to beg him. Beg him to go faster, to touch you harder, to take you. But you didn’t. Because another part of you wanted to savor every second of this.
When you felt the wet heat of his mouth move lower and embrace the sensitive skin of your breast, you felt your eyes roll back in your head. The sigh that came over your lips was more of a moan. You gently buried your fingers in his hair and played with it. Every time his tongue slipped out to run over the curve of your breast, you felt your hips press down against his own on pure instinct. You felt how hard he was, painfully so. But he didn’t press his hips up against you, he didn’t even try once. He was skilled at ignoring his own need, when he wanted to. He made you feel like a princess. Like all that mattered in the world were you.
You squirmed and shuddered when he moved underneath you, brushing his tongue down a wet path on your stomach.
His hands encircled the back of your thighs and he held you firmly, his fingers gently digging into your skin. And he moved. Lower and lower. Until you felt his hot breath kiss the sensitive skin of your inner thighs. A soft whimper left you and you bit your lip to keep yourself from begging. He was going to give you whatever you wanted. Today, there was no need to beg.
He slowly but firmly pushed your legs apart, and settled in-between them, still lying on his back and ignoring his own ache. He shot you a pointed look, before he finally stuck out his tongue and rolled it over the warm wetness of your need.
“Oh, God.”
He hit every right spot at the first try and you could no longer stay silent. His grip on your thighs tightened and he silently encouraged you to move. Move. Take what you want.
You swallowed a shaky moan and began to tentatively move your hips. It didn’t take long for you to figure out how it worked, how you had to move. It was so easy and the pleasure rolled over you like a warm bath.
“Oh, God.” You whispered again, tightening your hand in his hair.
He did the most sinful things, sliding his tongue inside you and pulling it back out, running it along every spot, embracing your center of pleasure with his warm lips and it felt like Heaven. He knew where to kiss, where to lick, where to suck and where to flick his tongue. He knew everything. And in that moment, you didn’t care one bit about where he gained that knowledge.
Because he used it on you.
And he’d be using it on your for as long as you were his girl.
And you wanted to be his girl for the rest of your life.
“Yes. There. Right there.” You gasped out, moving your hips again and silently begging him to continue, to give you what you wanted, to give you him.
And he did nothing less than that. He kissed you like he’d kiss your lips, he tightened his grip, he didn’t let you back away. His mouth was firmly attached to your body, eager to give you everything you wanted. Letting you ride yourself to bliss.
Which was exactly what you did. You didn’t even realize it, by how suddenly it happened, but your release rolled over you like a flash of lightning. It felt more intense than ever. You felt everything deeply and he didn’t stop, until he was sure, you were entirely spent and satisfied.
You were still gasping for air, when he finally released his grip on you and looked up at you with a soft expression.
You stared at him, trying to catch your breath. All you wanted was to say something, anything, but no words came over your lips. All you managed was the gentle touch of your palm against his cheek. He smiled slowly and covered your hand with his own. Then he slowly moved back up, so that you’d straddle his lap again.
“How was that?” He whispered.
“Fuck.” Was all that you managed.
A low laugh rumbled in his chest, but no trace of mockery. Just satisfaction and a tad bit of pride. You forgave him. You would have forgiven him anything.
“Can I?” You finally whispered. You needed to know, if you were still in control.
He smirked. He looked so confident. Just like you always knew him. Confident and strong. In control. And yet…
“I’m all yours, baby. Ride me.”
You bit your lip. Your face flushed the tiniest bit, but you nodded. Now, this was making you really nervous. You had seen videos, but were you able to do it yourself?
Why not? You thought. Why not?
You leaned down and captured his lips in a kiss. Still slow and sensual, but you poured all the passion you felt for him in that kiss. And he responded in kind. He didn’t try to take control of your mouth. Instead he moaned against your lips, every time your tongue brushed against his. He ran a hand down your back and squeezed your behind firmly in his hand.
“Fuck, I need you to ride me or I’m going to die.” He groaned as he bit your lip. You responded with another moan. You still felt his hardness press against you, hard and ready and needy.
God, the thought alone. The thought that he wanted you that much. It drove you insane.
You swallowed thickly and carefully ran a hand down his chest, down his stomach, down his waist, until-
You smiled. You missed his throbbing, aching need and brushed your fingers gently along his thigh instead.
He glared up at you, a hint of desperation behind the repressed anger.
“I should have known this would come.” He hissed.
Your smile widened into a grin, as you teasingly caressed his side instead.
“What? I’m just doing what you do.”
He released a frustrated growl.
“You-“
“Come on.” You whispered. “Let me have this. Just this once.”
He was still frustrated, but the look in his eyes softened the tiniest bit.
“But I want you.” He murmured and you swallowed.
“How much?” You whispered. God, this was fun.
“How much?” He asked incredulously. “Can’t you feel how much?”
You hummed in the same way he normally would. So innocent. So devilish.
“Paint a picture with your words.”
He exhaled sharply. But eventually he calmed down and wrapped his arms around you gently.
“I need to be inside of you or I’m going to die. I’m going to die, I mean it.”
“Keep going.” You whispered. “Talk to me.” While you spoke, you shifted slightly on his lap, gently grinding down on him and letting him feel you. Just enough to make you gasp, not enough for him to enter you yet.
He bit his lip, almost hard enough to draw blood.
“I want to feel you.” He murmured. “I want to fuck you. I want to be one with you. And I fucking want to cum inside you.”
A shiver ran down your spine and you sighed.
“Keep going.” You responded in a breathless whisper, as you ground down against him again. The friction was enough for your both to snap your eyes shut.
“I want you to cum.” He whispered back. “I want you to cum so hard, that it’ll make you cry.”
“Fuck.” You whispered breathlessly and buried your face in his neck. “Fuck, yes.”
You swallowed again and pulled your head back up, enough to rest your forehead against his.
“Let me move then?” You whispered. “Please?”
He bit the inside of his cheek and nodded. “But fucking get to it.”
You released a shaky sigh. You kept your forehead pressed against his and stared into his eyes, intense and deep, while you slowly spread your legs further. You shifted again, your movements a little awkward and insecure, but eventually you felt him press up against you and you felt his tip press against your entrance. And then you slowly lowered yourself down onto his lap. You felt him fill you, but it happened so slowly that you felt every bit of it. And all the time you kept your gaze fixed on his eyes. His reaction. Every moan, every sigh, every twitch. All of it was enough to make you moan in return. You slowly lowered yourself further down, until you felt him all the way. And when you did…You didn’t move. You stayed like that. Just feeling. Just feeling all of him.
And the look in his eyes was worth it.
You had never seen him this soft, this vulnerable before. Not even when he told you about his father. His eyes were softer than ever before and you suddenly realized; you had never seen him this needy. This desperate to feel you. You were sure, just a second more and he would either take control or beg you. But you couldn’t let that happen.
It was his first time to let someone else take control after all.
And you couldn’t have him begging. You couldn’t have him do anything that would make him feel ashamed, when he was so unabashedly doing everything in order to make you happy.
So finally you moved. Slowly and carefully, very unsure still. But you moved. And he moaned. And he moved. And you moaned.
You had never felt him this deep before, this hard, this raw.
“Ride me.” He whispered breathlessly. “Ride daddy’s cock, baby.”
Your face flushed even more, but all you could focus on were his words. You movements became more forceful, more frantic, more desperate. And as hard as he tried not to move at all, it was simply impossible. He pressed his hips up against you, letting you feel him, so hard and God, so desperate.
“Yes. Yes, babygirl, just like that. Let daddy fill you up.” He groaned out.
With every thrust, every move, you felt yourself get closer yet again. It felt like a fantasy.
“Yes. Yes, my sweet girl, my baby, my darling, my love-“
His eyes widened frantically. He panicked. You could tell. So did you. On the inside. But on the outside, you pretended. You pretended all you could, that you hadn’t heard it.
The L-word.
The word that nearly broke you.
No, you hadn’t heard it. He had never said it. It was just a slip-up. A simple mistake. Nothing to get hot and bothered about.
When he realized you didn’t react, he slowly calmed down again and tightened his grip on your hips. His own movements became more and more desperate, until he was pounding into you from underneath.
“Fuck, yes. Cum for me, my babygirl. Cum for me, my darling. Take every drop of my cum.”
His words were enough to drive you over the edge. With a sharp inhale, a breathless moan, you felt your own orgasm hit you again. And he went over the edge right with you.
Your lips just an inch apart and your eyes fixed on each other.
Deep.
And raw.
“Yes.” He growled. “Oh God, yes. Fuck, yes. My girl. My girl, my...” His voice cracked and he came with a roar. He pushed his hips against you with a fervor that nearly left you bruised from the inside and it made your release drag on and on, until you felt you were about to take off to the sky.
It took you a few seconds, but when you both finally came back down from your high, you realized you were still staring into each other’s eyes. You mouth slightly agape and gasping for air, your brows furrowed and your bodies still connected in the most intimate way. You didn’t want him to withdraw yet. You wanted to feel his release run along your thighs. You wanted to feel dirty like that and at the same time you wanted something else entirely.
Stay close.
Stay together.
My love.
The word kept echoing through your mind like a poem, like a curse.
Like a death warrant.
My love.
He buried his hand in your hair and gently tugged on it.
“That…was…”
You had never seen him speechless before. The sight stirred so much in you.
You idiot girl. He hurt you, he hurt you so terribly and all you wanted right now was him beside you, at all times, maybe with a ring on your finger and a baby in your belly.
God, you were just as insane as he was. Probably even more so.
He was a psychopath. What was your excuse?
You tried to distract yourself from your thoughts and so you decided to take control a last time. Your head dipped forward and you kissed him. With a tenderness that made your heart ache. And he responded. With a softness that left you breathless.
My love.
Half an hour later, you finally managed to get your hands off of each other. After you finished your bathroom routine, he invited you to the shower with him. You’d join him in a minute, you decided, while you were on your way to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Your mouth felt dry, your whole body did actually.
You felt sore as hell, but God. God.
The memory of it made you smile. You had never felt more loved in your life. Never felt more special, more desired, more…
A sound made you snap out of your thoughts and you looked up from the ground. What you saw made your heart stop.
The door.
The fucking door.
You mind went blank and your heart stopped beating.
The fucking door was open.
You swallowed thickly. Was it a test? Probably. Did you consider leaving?
You took a deep breath and slowly stepped into the hallway. The front door was open and there was that visitor’s terrace with a glass door attached to it, which led to the great staircase of the apartment complex.
It was a test. Or something equally cruel.
But what if it wasn’t?
What if he truly made a mistake? He was only human after all.
You stared at the glass door like you would have stared at an alien.
This was probably your only ever chance. To flee. Escape.
Get back to…
To what?
To normality, you told yourself.
To safety.
A lump formed in your throat. Did you want that? Did you even want to leave?
Even if it wasn’t a test, did you truly want to leave him?
The thought left a bitter taste in your mouth. It almost felt like acid and it weighed like a heavy stone on your heart. The thought of sleeping alone again, of never seeing his silly smile again. Even the twisted one, you’d miss.
The thought of never feeling his lips on yours again.
His hands in your hair, his voice in your ear.
His everything.
Him.
You were his girl.
You couldn’t just up and leave. What was there in the world for you?
Maybe this was exactly your destiny. Him. Him. Him.
He was all you needed, right? He took care of you. He provided for you.
He loved you. In his own, twisted way.
My love.
You couldn’t, you decided. You couldn’t leave. You wouldn’t. You wouldn’t ever-
The sound of someone’s voice pulled you out of your thoughts, but to your horror, it wasn’t him. Your eyes widened impossibly when you saw the form of a man approaching.
He looked like a janitor or something like that. A man far past his prime with greying hair and a kind smile.
God, you had missed kindness.
But no, no, you were his girl. You were his girl. You wouldn’t ever leave.
You took a step back like a cornered animal as the man approached and said something to you in Korean. When you backed away even more, he stopped and his eyes widened in surprise.
He kept talking to you, kept speaking in that reassuring tone of voice.
“I…don’t…understand.” You breathed out.
You didn’t even realize how you must have looked, terrified and broken. A faint mark on your cheek. Your clothes crumpled. Bite marks, love bites, more marks on your throat.
He frowned slightly and tilted his head to the side.
“Miss-“ He said in a thick, Korean accent. “Miss- The man that’s live here- The man- Is he-“
In that moment, you felt it. His presence was so prominent, you didn’t need to hear him call out to you. You just felt it. He came in, a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair wet from the shower. He most likely came to look why you hadn’t come yet.
You quickly spun around and met his gaze, your expression horrified. Your eyes were so expressive.
The door was open. He came by himself. It wasn’t my fault. Please! It wasn’t my fault!
Something hard flashed through his eyes, but it was only visible to you and it was only there for the blink of an eye. And then it was gone and it got replaced by the tight smile.
A tight, polite smile, directed at the janitor in the doorway. He spoke to him in Korean and stepped closer, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. You stared at the ground, completely horrified.
Oh no, you thought.
Oh no. This is it.
