God of Xenith

Hello and welcome

Welcome to my second blog dedicated to my spec world, Xenith. I won't give much illustration for explanation here as I haven't been able to get around to it but I'll simply explain in words what my project is now and go from there

Xenith is a speculative biology project and science fiction project as a whole that started truly in 2019, heavily inspired by made up creatures I made when inspired by documentaries such as Planet Earth ll, and recently heavily influenced and inspired by projects such as Serina, Tales of Kaimere, The Dragon Slayer Codex, and more official media like Prehistoric Planet. In recent years it's come around to be more and more scientific and plausible with some exceptions.

The premise of this world:

A planet in a different reality takes the place of earth, a world 15x Earth's size and only held together by non living (abiotic magic) which is a vast collection of atoms, elements and more that are essentially supercharged to perform tasks impossible otherwise, a second layer of natural law if you will. Xenith is, as a result, a strange world that is not only Earth like, but has gravity that is only slightly less, and is overall a world of extremes. It is an ancient world, as again it is earth in its own reality, and it has its own life that is mostly identical to our realities past, however due to magic, evolution takes turns. The best example is magic teaming with multicellular organisms for survival and enhancing them to become so efficient, they become Gods in a sense (to be described in better detail later)

As a result, earth life is collected by an ancient snake, Kruvuel, and his magic, as well as non living things collected by an ancient tree, Nula, to boost the health of their world after major extinction or simply bulk biodiversity and planetary health during good times

This project has been in the shadows for sometime and thanks to someone from a discord server, I'm officially moving to yap in public

I will mention this project has an earth side of things as well, though that side is mostly for things outside spec bio, such as slasher related things, but it still takes place in the same overall universe. I will also be posting on Blue Sky, so I'll be back with updates on that as well

Maps of Xenith, land+water currents, and climate zones

Xenith is a planet in another universe, 15x the size of earth, yet a less dense core, similar overall conditions, and being held together by non living magic allows it to exist without collapsing in on itself. Xenith is home to many things, including gods which take life from earth to supplement and replace life on the planet, and events such as the astroid that ended the Cretaceous never happened, allowing creatures like dinosaurs to continue on in this strange world.

I'll go in depth on the world soon, likely though I'll focus on the life first as there's a lot I need to lock in canon such as a proper planetary timeline, so until then I'll have clades and species to yap about as well as a little of culture, the world itself outside of major timeline lore, etc

I'm holding out on actually talking about my spec setting until I finalize details on the dominant animal life, Neotherma, which of course I'll talk about extensively. Dragons and their kin are the most important aspect of this project in many ways, and id like to complete their phylogeny for the future, and it might be done soon

For now, however, whoever watches my page must wait, same as my Blue sky, though I believe I'll be ready this weekend
