His head immediately turned to the sound of her familiar voice, a small smile growing on his lips when he saw her approaching him. “I remember. I probably wouldn’t have survived without you there,” Stefan said in a soft voice, the memories they shared around this time of year still very fond in his mind. “I’ll take anything I can get,” he grinned and stepped forward to wrap her in his arms, a sigh of relief parting his lips at the feeling of her against him. “I miss you. I hate that I barely get to see you anymore.”

Alexia chuckled, nodding, “you definitely wouldn’t have. And I’ve been protecting you since.” She teased him even though they protected each other as much as possible. She hated them being apart but she knew it was for the best. “That’s good,” she wrapped her arms around him, happy with the closeness. “I hate it too, being next to you most of the day to this is... torture. We’re Romeo and Juliet,” she muttered.

Phoebe smiled just a bit at the others response. “I kinda like the witch look better, its cute..plus you don’t wanna recycle costumes, you’ve gotta spice things up.” she said with a quiet chuckle of her own as she lowered the glass from her lips. “Tell me about it, I like a little more..risky fun with my parties, and less supervision you get with boring school run balls.”

Alexia grinned, “thanks. And yeah, that’s true. Gotta stay fashionable.” She put her hand under her chin as she batted her eyes. “Also watching people get pissy drunk is hilarious to watch while I’m a little envious of those people since I wouldn’t mind it but I don’t want to have any regrets.”

He leaned his side against the wall and lowered his head a bit, completely sober unlike most others there. The idea of doing it that night just didn’t appeal to him so he figured he’d try to enjoy the party without any alcohol. Stefan twirled the tip of the fake sword against the floor, snacking on a halloween cookie he had picked up from a table. 

“Remember last year for Halloween? When we met? We went through the haunted house together, so like, this is our holiday if you think about it,” she spoke as she walked up to him. “But you know, I’m not wearing armour so I’m your knight in a witch costume this year,” she hummed with a smile.

As soon as Phoebe heard word of there being a party in the dorms, she was interested in going-even if it might’ve been Jay’s. Sure they weren’t on the best of terms, but she wasn’t one to turn down a secret dorm party, and it gave her a chance to show-off how good she looked in her costume. “Gotta say, this is a much better idea then some boring school ball or whatever.” she muttered as she took a sip of her cocktail.

Alexia was excited for the party, she always enjoyed parties and it was one thing she loved about school was anything dealing with drinking, dancing and socialising. So the party made her definitely dress in her Halloween costume and the makeup she planned. After grabbing a drink, she walked over to Phoebe, listening to her words. “Maybe I should’ve saved my vampire costume from last year and just one up it,” she joked with a chuckle before looking over the girl. “I have to agree with you, though. Even though a ball is fun but this, this is better.”

“I will and they need to hang together and grow together because they are siblings.” Alexia sighed with a smile at the thought of her dogs getting along and it made her happy. “I’m indifferent about him. After all, he never liked me because his girlfriend gave me more attention than him.” She chuckled as she remembered how Logan used to compare her and Ariella to him and Theo which was funny to her. “What? No! Shush.”
