Dali knew it was gross, but it was also a way to calm his nerves, so what could he do.. So as a reply to the gilr he just shrugged a bit.
"Do you ever talk?" Xia asked, realizing he hadn't said a word yet. She tipped her head to the side in anticipation of an answer.
Jazz was about to turn around and disappear from the ballroom when he started to feel like he was standing there for nothing, but then a blonde girl came to his view. A small grin came on his lips at her words. “I assume you’re Xia then”, he said and looked around them before looking back to her. “What were you thinking of stealing? I could start with the foods.”
Xia dropped down, sidling up next to him. "That's me. Jazz? Like jazz music? Ooh, dancing!" Xia looked out at the dance floor with excitement, eyes twinkling at the sight of all the sparkly jewels. "Food? Nah, that's boring. You can live without food. Let's pocket some necklaces or anything that looks expensive." She took his hand and tugged at it like a child.
"Well, ye ken what they say: ‘Sex is natural, sex is good. Not everybody does it, but everybody should.’"
"A guy tried to kiss me once. I stabbed him with a fork."
That could work.
This is going to be fun.
"It's so stuffy in here."
A ball? Well that was new. Though pretty much everything was new for Jazz since he didn’t remember anything. He didn’t even know did he know how to dance. He didn’t even have anything fancy on, since well, he didn’t own anything and he didn’t any money to get one. But there he was, standing next to the doors of the ballroom. He knew he was paired with some blonde girl but that was pretty much all he knew. So with Jazz’s logic it was better to stand still and wait for someone to come to him telling they were partnered for the ball.
Xia entered the ballroom, tugging uncomfortably at the hem of her dress. Why were dresses so itchy and hard to move in, and what was with women and heels? It was practically impossible to pull off a heist in such an outfit, though she could proudly say that she had. Maybe she would be able to pocket a few necklaces before the night was over. Maybe whoever she was partenered with would help. Thinking of that, Xia glanced about till someone pointed in the direction of a man standing alone. Xia raced up behind him, launching up on his back. "Hey partner! You wanna go steal something?"
Marie entered the grand ballroom, surrounded by strangers dressed to the nines. Her own dress was a simple summer dress she’d thrown in among other belongings, she had no clue that she would be arriving to a grand ball or festivities of any sort — this was a mental hospital, after all. She tried to make herself look less startled but the attempt was lost, the girl was in deeply unfamiliar territory to say the least. She stood somewhere off to the side of the main dancing, watching, not daring quite yet to participate.
Xia sat under a long serving table, hidden by the lengthy tablecloths on it. She ate chocolate croissants that she'd 'stolen' from the top of the serving table, watching shadows dance past. Then someone stepped too close and Xia eyed the shoes. She rolled out from under the table in a backwards somersault and stood. "Hi."
What was he doing..? Well.. Dali looked at the cigarette and then at the girl pointing at the cig between his fingers.
"Just that?" Xia asked, making a face. "Gross."
Nah, grenades are old hat for me now. You’ll have to one-up that. Maybe some sticks of mining dynamite?
What about C-4?
I’ve been working here for three years, takes more than a razor blade in an apple to freak me out. Now if we’re talking about a WWII grenade hidden in the kettle in the staff room, then we’d be in business. I’m still not sure how that one got in there…
Grenade.. Challenging. I like it.
Well that certainly puts a twist on the ‘apple a day’ adage…
Man, you didn't even freak out.
Dali looked at the girl, muttered a silent ‘sorry’ and took few steps away from her so the smoke wouldn’t get to her.
Xia flipped down from the tree. "Whatcha doin?" She asked, stepping closer to the man.
"Y’know, a shag! Gettin’ pumped. Fuckin’. Havin’ sex."
"Gross."
"That dino can only use its teeth and general face area to beat him down; monkey’s got teeth and hands. He’s at an advantage.”
"Monkey has dull teeth. I change my mind. I would win!"
aiden frowned at the blonde in his room. Why was she in here? And hadn’t he locked the door? He sighed and tossed it on the bed next to him. “What are you doing in here?”
Xia slipped her lick picking kit back into her pocket, smiling when the gun was released. She skipped into the room and sat on the end of the bed. "Do you have any chocolate? I've been checking all of the orderlies rooms for some."
