AJ nods and leans down, grabbing the little kitten gently and picking him up, setting him onto the bed and watching as he skips right on over to Kaitlyn. "He's a cutie." AJ comments, smiling as she watches the small kitten go over to Kaitlyn happily.

Kaitlyn had been lying in bed the better part of the last couple of days with the flu, but she felt a little bit better today. She was happy that AJ was coming over, and she knew she should try to make herself look half-decent. She just didn’t feel like it. When the door was knocked on, she slowly made her way over to open it, hiding her lower half behind it since she didn’t have any pants on and coughing.

She takes a deep breath before getting down on one knee and opening the box, revealing a ring. “This is probably crazy to do, and I know I’m taking a huge risk. I love you, though, and I want to be with you. I know that we’ve had our ups and downs, and I know that I’ve had my ups and downs, but I want to forget about everything that’s happened. You make me happy, and you make me a better person. I was literally going crazy without you. You’re my best friend, and you’ll always be my best friend,” she stops there for a few seconds, blinking back some tears, before continuing. “So, AJ…April Mendez…will you marry me?” she asks with a tiny smile.

AJ stays completely silent as Kaitlyn says her little speech, tears welling up in her own eyes as she watches it all unfold.
