Ellie had listened as she couldn’t help but smile at his comment. “See, respect for Jared Leto is a good thing.” she said simply before she had begun to feel his hands on her waist before she had arched her brow as the comment, pressing her lips together. Their.. whatever this was, was very built on Lust but usually, things like this didn’t end well. Leaning her body up against his, she had pressed her lips together with amusement. “Guess you’ll have to figure that out yourself.” she told him softly. 

Luke was really beginning to make his wander at his point. Maybe they didn’t end well. Maybe he was hung up on Em to want this to actually be good. Feeling her press against him was a good thing though. Her body heat was giving him a sense of peace. “ You’re being coy,” he told her. “ I like having you here.” And he did. “ Plus after a long day like today, all I want to do is just cuddle someone. and get laid.”

     parker led luke through his living room ( furnished with items he picked up off the side of the road ) and into the kitchen. he pulled open the refrigerator door and answered luke’s question with a snort of amusement. “depends on what you mean by get along,” he explained, “the three of us aren’t really the touchy feely type, but they’re basically the only people besides em who i can stand to be around for more than a few minutes at a time.”

Luke nodded,” Okay fair enough.” Luke just knew all the mistakes his band made. “ What led to my band breaking up was us not communicating good with each other and respecting each other. In the end we all fell out pretty bad. I think the best advice I can give is to listen to each other.” Not mention Luke was the one that wanted to make his band work probably the only one in all honesty.

Luke leaned against his couch. Em, his friend. His addiction. His rock they weren’t even together and this felt a break up to him. Like she was going to walk out that door and never come back. What Luke couldn’t get her to understand was he would never make move. Doing that would hurt her. Seeing Em unhappy was not going to be his fault. “ So what do you want then. I can make my peace with you not being in my life. I can let you go. As long as you’re happy I’m okay with it. All I ever want for you is to be happy.”

“ I don’t think you’re listening.” How could he tell her or even get her to understand? It was something he didn’t get himself or want to get himself. “ Maybe protector was the wrong word to use. “ I have feelings for you Em and I tried not to. I did and that was just me lying to my self. This isn’t wanting you to choose me or even asking you too.” I just want you to know that I can still be friends with you. But I do feel like me keeping it a secret was unfair to you. Not telling you was making a decision for you. Because I would rather not tell you then lose you as my friend. my best friend. Who I can tet paragraphs to about shit like the Batman and the flash.” Luke paused. “ It’s unfair for both of us for you not get to decide on your own if you accept this and still be friends with me.”
