For the slice, I have recreated the shop to be cylinder shape and arrange the machine in the shop. Also, the shop can rotate around the seller so the seller can received the order from costumers and doing a smoothie and serve without turning around the shop. Moreover, this shop is design to be a mobile shop that the seller can move the shop to another place by just walking with a wheels on the floor.
Archive
In this archive represent all the pieces which I gathered for my research - the noodles, the metal scrap pieces, the mechanism, the fish balls etc.

In this phase I design machine that give a sense of garage repair shop that the owner accustomed to it as well as cooking noodles.
I worked around these two completely different programmes - combining them together into a machine that makes noodles.
Slice : Manual of Associations
The machine is focus on a 3 section with 2 main system of car which are ignition system and brake system.
First and second section is inspired by an ignition system which generates a spark to a high temperature to ignite a fuel-air mixture in spark ignition internal combustion engines.
For the first section I reproduce stirring hot water with a engine function to give a energy or heat for boiling water.
Second section, I adapt the motion of compress and depress that represent in the ignition system to be an action for taking the noodles.
Third section is brake system which will stop the process working on a mixing the plate and spices together , as the consumer satisfy with their noodle, they can press the brake to stop the wheel.

One of the most interest shop in Praeng Phutorn was a noodle shop, which worked as a garage as well.
It is a double space where there are two different entrances - one to go and eat and the other one to go and repair your car. The owner has places on every wall car parts and as well you are able to eat next to vintage cars. The owner had these two favorite things, working with cars and as well cooking noodles

The isometric demonstrate the interior of the house including antique object and old pictures that are passed from generation to generation. In this phase I also interest in how relationship of people which is something that can’t be seen and how they develop through generation and make the community is the precious and valuable place for them.
Derive : Data analysis
My project is divided into 2 parts. On one side the residents and on the other all the objects and things that populate their spaces. Through these diagram indicate the time that these objects are used for and the value that the owner gives to them.
Derive : Set of Rules
My project starts in Praeng Phuton, one of the most preserved heritage neighborhood in Bangkok. The residents within Praeng Phuton decided to restore their community and improve their landscape. With some government support and donated paint, they brought the community back to life. Inside the neighbourhood there is a square with an open public space. It is in the center of the square again which they use for community plays and festivals, just like in the old days.
Through the interviews I started to know much more details about their life, everyone owns either a cafe or restaurants. Everyone knows each other and everyone has its own favourite spot to go.
Slice >> Manual of Associations
For the manual of associations, I have made an isometric to show machines in the show that use to make a drink. Also, I choose 3 popular menus from the poster at the shop front to show how they make this drink and to show the order of the movement in the shop. The yellow square is the starting point where they take the order from customers.

From the data of the shadows on the Silom street, I have made an object map that created the shadow. So, we can know where we are by looking at the shadow, which elements that cast that shadow, and see where that element in the map. Also, we can predict how the shadow change by the time and the sun.
Derive >> Data analysis
The data that I got from walking in Silom street is the shadows that cast from the elements from the street. There are shadows that free form or the shadows that are geometry.
