«I held a paintbrush and made it dance over the blank canvas. A pair of sad eyes with rainbow tears drew their way into my painting.

Four years later I convinced myself to try again. A lake and some grass came out this time.

“Is this supposed to be life?”.

I couldn’t finish, I went ballistic at myself. It wasn’t going as I dreamt it and it was my fault.

“Is this supposed to be my life?”

I have cried over paper so many times that I forgot how to do it anymore.

And yes, I painted crying eyes because in real life I couldn’t allow myself to break loose the chaos in my own head.

Now when I watch it hanging on my living room I think the same thing over and over again: I‘ll paint something different.
