Was talking the other day about the formative sexy wizardesses of my youth, and here we are.
O, broad black earth and the fruits therefrom
I've been working away for months at a sort of amorphous rpg project (a spiritual sequel to Treasures of the Nightwives, in a way; a bronze-age-ish fantasy thing). It's still just a collection of increasingly-complicated notes, but in the meantime here's a thematically-connected drawing. I've got nornishwomen on the brain.
A black-&-white variant of that twi'lek drawing from a while ago, to keep with the "West End Games star wars RPG supplement" look.
As discussed the other day, the most embarrassing thing you can do is to be a star wars fan in any capacity. Nevertheless, I was reading the old West End Games Star Wars rpg and felt compelled to draw the girl I'd play: a space-businesswoman (smuggler) from the '80s WEG vision of Ryloth where everyone lives in underground tunnels on the permanent-night side of the planet and nobody has a spaceship.
I'm six months into my transition as a trans woman, and I really hope I can look like one of the women you draw one day! There's just something about the shapes and the clothes that really speaks to me.
I think "fat girl with big glossy hair" is an admirable transition goal.
Finally indulging my near-constant mental train of "what if Conan was a woman". Summer is for cheesecake fantasy.
A YOUNG DAUGHTER OF THE PICTS
My old tradition of the annual self-portrait, long in abatement: back for 2025
Parts I and II of my yet-incomplete 2021 poem about prehistoric dykes have been revised and compiled into a single volume, for your ease and reading pleasure! It's freshly available to download on Itch at the link above.
Looking back through Hyacinths. A lot of these drawings still hold up!
I read your bronze age comic about the useless lesbian who鈥檚 a butcher and holy shit you鈥檙e good. It鈥檚 sad but I hope that they somehow get together even if it鈥檚 probably unlikely.
Thank you! Nice to hear people are still finding it, years later.
You might be into Carcass, an incomplete narrative poem of mine from a few years ago (I still have a vague intention to finish it). It's also about gay bronze age women, but here they're actively together instead of pining at length.
looove your art! keep it up! <3
Sweet of you to say! Thank you!
