Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā His visible eye wide by the time the unforeseeableĀ singing had started, Ciel spun himself toward the curtain where the sound seemed to be loudest. Temporarily silenced as the scratchy noise continued, he watched the curtain to see for any movement or any indication that there was another soul in this room.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā But the whole place stood still like the dead of night.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Sebastianāpull the curtain away," he ordered, taking a daring step toward where the singing was as his butler climbed atop the stage. He didnāt know whether to address the sound directly or assume the person who activated it was long gone; fleeing somewhere else in the depths of this place.Ā
Foxy laughed and started going through the motions of his show, waving his hook hand in a greeting.Ā "Ah - hoy - hoy, mateys! I - i - it's been a long - long time since any of ye ca - came t' see o - o - ol' Foxy! I - I - I missed see - see -- scaring -- seein' ye!"
He stepped off the pegs keeping him on the stage and moved closer to the edge. "What - what - what's yer name, la - la - laddie? A - a - are ye a pirate t - too? May - maybe ye want to be a ca - ca -- killer -- captain ju - just like ol' Fo - Foxy here!"
