             ❛ don’t apologize, just work on it. ❜ she doesn’t really mean to seem as though she hates him. as far as interns go, he’s her favorite. mainly because he’s the only one that doesn’t shy away from her or treat her like she has three heads when she asks them to actually practice medicine. thin fingers reach for a pen inside her pocket, tossing it towards him.  ❛ catch. there, now you have a pen. ❜ her brow raises in a mix of amusement & satisfaction before she’s grabbing another chart and flipping through it,  ❛ and you’re more than halfway to becoming a legit doctor. just don’t get a big head. ❜

          and, there. she softens. perhaps she was never hardened in the first place, but his superior had a knack for making him scratch his head. he didn’t mean only just for cases, either. it was hardly a bad thing, however, and there wasn’t any way she could actually hate him. not when she actually lets him do real doctor things that he gets to blow raspberries to the rest of the interns about later.

          cue him being too busy thinking about the gal in front of him to realize the think fast moment, causing his hand to snatch out just a little too late only ensuring to smack it back in the air. reverse, repeat two more times before he smacks it over rather than up. his shoes  squeak against the tile as he lurches forward to catch it only to finally lose the war altogether when it hits the floor with a tiny bounce. deep breath in, embarrassed sigh out. you’re suppose to be good with your hands, mccall. a thought that out of context would probably sound just a tad inappropriate. ‘ thank you. for the pen. ’ it’s a rushed half completed, then completed thought he directs toward her with the item in question between his fingers before tucking it into his lab coat pocket. palms smooth over the fabric as he clears his throat, decides in that instant to stop making himself act so odd, and then moves to stand more behind her than next to her so he can peer at the chart with her. ‘ and for the compliment. i don’t see my head getting big, but i’m sure you’ll bring me back down to earth if it does, ’ his grin becomes toothy as he sends a slight lingering glance in her direction before his eyes are back on the chart. ‘ anything good? ’

assume vivid astro focus is up to something “eye-catching”! Next month the duo will reveal a roller rink in Buenos Aires featuring music by comedienne and drag performer Lady Bunny. Titled angeles veloces arcanos fugaces, the interactive disco-themed installation will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Faena Hotel Buenos Aires, home to the Faena Arts Center (FAC).  All are welcome to  experience the roller rink from October 11 – 14, 2014 in the Los Molinos room.
