If Marvel Studios hadn’t horribly dropped the ball, we might’ve gotten a Vision-lifts-Mjolnir type surprise when Cassie ends up being the first character in the MCU to grow without needing a suit.

I’m not one to gatekeep a character or fandom or anything. I want characters I like to have a many fans as possible.

But, with that being said, it’s been nice knowing you all while Cassie was largely unknown to the masses. Now we prepare for the influx of new fans.

I felt the same way about Kate getting her spotlight. Nothing but positivity from all the new fans, but it does kind of feel like the end of some comfy obscurity.

I’m really worried for anything Young Avengers at this point. I was so hype for their introduction before Phase 4 started but now I just feel like there’s no way they don’t drop the ball. I was too hopeful, I wanted them to have their own trilogy that built up to Children’s Crusade but…I’m not even sure if I want it anymore.

Going by the purple suit, Cassie is going by Stinger. Which makes sense since the MCU established that sifeshifters need the helmet to survive.

I’ve thought about this too, yeah. Regardless, excited to see what they do!

Obviously we don’t for sure if they’re going with the Stinger alias, but it seems like they might based on the purple suit. But I have an interesting theory for it that supports my Scott dying theory. They go with the purple suit to distinguish between Scott (Red) and Hope (Yellow), just looks better on screen when they’re all together and so each is identifiable. And Stinger is the alias most associated on going on adventures with Scott/Ant-Man. Stature is the Young Avenger’s Cassie. Stinger is Scott’s Cassie.

After Scott’s death in Quantumania, Cassie wants to honor her father by swapping to a red suit. Not sure when/if/how she swaps to the Stature alias, but it seems likely that’s the second identity she chooses going into the YA.
