"I wouldn’t want to play poker with you then…" Steve joked
"You take all the fun out of living with that one statement."
Ginny peered her head around a doorway. “What are you doing?”
"Killing babies," Mal snarked with a roll of her eyes.
"You sound devastated." Steve commented, lifting a brow.
"Entirely so, I'm afraid."
"It is and now it’s in the forefront of my mind."
"Is it?" Mal let out a fake gasp, "How horrid of me."
Steve grunted, looking up at the woman, “Kids carrying shot guns on campus, that’s totally something I wanted to worry about.”
"It's a legitimate worry in this day and age, I believe."
[after a long run, Steve lays panting heavily under a tree]
Mal prods him with her black stiletto boot covered foot and lifts an eyebrow, "Then I suggest you be quiet, if you're dead. Or someone may mistake you for a zombie and fire a shotgun at your head."
"Very nice weather today."
"Because that is the most original thing I have ever heard."
Coreen brings cigarette to mouth and inhales. “Well it’s too late for that, Darling.”
Mal chuckled darkly and nodded, "Apparently so."
Mal holds up a zippo and lights it, "Those things ruin what you work so hard to keep, Coreen."
"Perhaps the students need to learn the hard way" Uriana laughed, shaking her head as they made their way off campus. "People are rather simple here" She sneered, smirking a bit.
"I was thinking the same thing," Mal laughed and shook her head. "They make it far too easy to truly be enjoyable."
Uriana looked over at Mal, tilted her head as she gave the other woman a dark smile. “Why of course my dear” She sneered, sliding past her, “Let’s be on our way. I rather not stay around campus with all this… Love in the air.” She snickered, knowing that most of it is nothing but lust.
Mal laughed, low and dark, sliding out of the shadows to make her way off campus. "Love," the dark woman sneered, "No such thing exists." She gestured to the scene unfolding, "Obviously."
"I don't like this new development at all," Mal murmured to herself in the shadows. "Though... It may prove useful." She smiled to herself and pulled out her phone, dialing a number quickly, "Uriana, dear... How would you feel about a nice cup of coffee?"
Aimee nodded slowly then grinned. “Oh well!”
"At least you have a fond memory," Mal chuckled. "Time to move on and find a new boy to make you smile."
"I do… I don’t think he misses me though… Or even remembers me."
Mal tilted her head, "You're likely right. Men are... fickle creatures."
Aimee felt her face flush darker but she smiled. “It was the day I met this really nice boy… I haven’t seen him around here much though.”
"Ah. Young... love," she laughed softly, thinking of the loss of her own heart and the reminder of it in front of her. "Do you miss him?"
"It was, I like to think about it when I get sad."
"Might I ask what made it so?"
Aimee looked back into her memories then smiled, a light pink blush appearing in her cheeks. “Yes I have, but only once.”
"It seems like it was very memorable."
