Dave wasn’t sure what had come over him. The combination of the bright lights and the drink and Bro egging him on - was he doing that? - from behind his deck had him practically dragging the smaller Hamada brother into the only room that wasn’t full of people - his bedroom.

❄  ╾ Jack nodded. “Just a few. Most of them will be those who were in charge of getting the exhibit approved and helped the students to set it up.” 

     Once parked, they stepped out of the car, with Jack leading them to the entrance.

                                      ❄ Two Hours Later ❄ 

     After the show was finished, they went back into the car and began to head home. 

     It was dark and the streets were mostly empty of cars and people. They spoke about the photographs and the experiments that were showcased throughout the exhibition. And Jack laughed as he recalled the awkward incident when one of the experiments just wouldn’t result to anything.    

     He pulled up to Hiro’s house and noticed that the lights in the surrounding buildings were, for the most part, off. He checked the time, taking note that it was almost 9:30. 

"Well, I hope you had a great time Hiro. Thanks for coming with me." He grinned.

          Hiro was filled with giddy energy. His professor proved to be hilarious, smart, charming, and captivating all in one. He hadn't had this much fun since he made his first robot, and he almost didn't want to step out of the car and have the night end.

          "I had a magnificent time, sir," he said as he beamed at the older man. "I haven't had that much fun since I was 13. Your colleague missed out."

Some early iterations of Honey Lemon!!! In terms of design she was the toughest to crack.. How to design a girl who is of latino descent, loves japanese fashion, while also is a geek about chemical engineering? I had a tough time imagining a person like that so I relied heavily on Lorelay’s contribution on costume and coloring to help define that right mixture~ There is of course some inspiration from certain actresses but I also was inspired by my calarts friends Lorelay and Jennifer Hager, both amazing artists at Disney Feature..
