Yes I’m yet another person fleeing the crumbling remains of the bird app, but I’m ok at mini painting! That’s got to count for something right??

A fun bounty hunter trio for my Star Wars: Legion collection! After painting loads of similar troops for my Empire army these colourful characters were a nice break.

Boba was particularly fun, his varied and distinctive colour palette meant I did a lot of custom mixing to get it feeling right.

Also the colours of his jetpack seem to change in every interpretation so just went for the most interesting I could find.

IG-88 was definitely the simplest to paint, as you might guess. Thankfully from painting A LOT of Adeptus Mechanicus for 40K I’ve got a nice and simple but striking ‘well used’ metal recipe.

Bossk was ideal for contrast paints, both his yellow jumpsuit and off yellow scales were super easy with it.

I highlighted the jumpsuit to give it some definition but the scales were great with just the contrast.

The rest of my Sororitas Order of Ashen Rose that I’ve painted so far, want to get back to these this year as they’re by far my favourite 40K faction, both to paint, and to play.

The Repentia were especially fun, working on the different skin tones using contrast and glazes actually made painting all that skin fun for the first time :P

Sisters of Battle were my first army when I started 40K, starting with that many metal minis was a real trial by fire.

Took a while but when we got the new plastics I just had to dive back in. They’re some of my favourite modern kits, the diversity and dynamism of them is superb.

Occupier Assault Tank for my Star Wars: Legion Empire forces!

Going for a bit of grubbiness on Imperial vehicles, they don’t look after them quite as well as their shiny armour after all.
