01. yunivs is the blog where all my interactions come from.
02. my content consists of graphics, writing, and maybe some videos that pertain to the fictional idol community aka kpop ocs. it's not frequent, nor are my ocs posted yet i'm working on it, i swear but that's what's happening over here.
03. my work will be tagged to the best of my abilities as it may contain triggering themes. it is entirely on you to mind the tags, but if i missed something, please let me know so i can update it.
04. i have so little energy that i tend not to block people. so hey, listen to me really closely; if you're under 16 (-18 and i won't interact with u personally), don’t respect others, think plagiarism is okay, ethnobend / racebend, use minors as fcs, or have chosen ‘mean’ as your only personality trait, don’t hit that follow button. i mean it.

It felt like forever since Koda had sat in this office. The decor remained stagnant—same dark grey walls, same pothos growing frantically from its confines, same sparsely populated award shelf, same uncomfortable chair, same gaudy plaque on the desk announcing to everyone that Lee Dongsuk was a very important man.

˙ ˖ ✶ BACKGROUND !
Koda was adopted in Incheon, South Korea nearly two years after he was born. He’s shared that he has no record of his birth parents, as it was a closed adoption, and despite his reaching out, it remains that way. He had a peaceful childhood raised alongside 3 older siblings; whether they’re also adopted or not remains unknown, but Koda is very close with them, often posting group sibling pictures on his instagram. He began to dance in middle school, taking contemporary and hip hop classes between two separate studios. He’s shared that he progress in skill quicker than most his peers and before long was scouted to join a team. Soon after, Koda began to perform competitively as the youngest member of CTY, a team famous for their original choreography. Although only trained in dance at the time, he was obsessed with the glitz and glamor of kpop and wanted to be an idol. Luckily for him, Koda was scouted by Blue Sky at one of his competitions and proudly joined the company a month later, making him one of the first Blue Sky trainees.
Prior to debut, Koda started to teach himself how to produce music. His tracks began to feature in DMTC’s albums after their 3rd release, Vivid, and he quickly took on the job of main producer. Although called ungrateful for this opinion, Koda has shared that he felt burdened when DMTC debuted. While only 17 at the time, he was the only member specially trained in dance and had to teach the rest of the members choreography on top of the company asking him to make music. He often felt as though the others didn’t find their group as important, nor put the time or effort in for them to succeed. He says things have changed now, leaving some fans to wonder if the problem was former members, Eli and Sunoh. Post hiatus has found Koda not only producing most of DMTC’s tracks, but choreographing for them, as well as several other groups. He says it’s a lot of work, but he loves what he does and Dreamatic and wouldn’t change things for the world.

˙ ˖ ✶ ABOUT !
Born on the island of Okinawa, Japan and raised off The Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia, Nicky has always existed parallel to the ocean. His mother was a marine biologist who frequently brought her only son on reef surveys or to the beach. His father, on the other hand, worked as a composer for a local animation studio. Nicky learned to play guitar and piano from his father and sang in the church choir throughout his time in Cairns. He has admitted that his parents interests heavily affected his own, especially his mother, and he was lucky to have gotten to experience so much at a young age. However, at age 12, Nicky’s mother passed away and he and his father moved to Tokyo to take care of her parents. After a few years, Nicky moved back to Cairns and joined up with some friends to form a rock band called “Sedimentary”, where he played drums and sung. They performed at a school event, and much to his surprise, a Blue Sky promoter (the aunt of his guitarist) gave him a business card and told him to send a video of him dancing, which he did. He then moved to Korea to begin training under Blue Sky.
Nicky is convinced he and Koda are soulmates as they hit it off the first day of training and have been best friends ever since. Songshin too, but Nicky refers to their friendship as gradual. The first two years after debut were pretty hectic and stressful, and as there was an age gap, Nicky and Koda were often left alone in the dorms when the elder members went out to drink. Nicky says they spent much of their time practicing on their own and playing pranks, Nicky having a new story to tell on every variety appearance showing the sheer amount of pranking they did. During DMTC’s two year hiatus, Nicky had the least to do, so he taught himself to produce, and now does so under the moniker ‘Nemo’. He’s made several songs for the group and hopes to continue making more—and performing them alongside Songshin and Koda—for a very long time.

˙ ˖ ✶ ABOUT !
Songshin was born and raised in the mountainous region of Geumsan. Not much is known about his childhood other than the fact that his parents owned a flower shop that he would frequently help out at. At age 16, for reasons unknown, Songshin dropped out of school and moved to Seoul without any support. There he began to work odd jobs, many being at flower shops, cafes, or delivery driving. When he hit 18, Songshin enlisted, serving his mandatory military time as quickly as possible. He spent the months after couch surfing while making a barely livable wage as a bartender. According to him, Blue Sky’s CEO told him he had the face of an idol while slumped over the bar, dead drunk. The CEO came back a few days later, this time sober, and convinced Songshin to audition for Blue Sky. He didn’t see any harm in trying, but didn’t care about being an idol in the slightest, nor had any idea what the training would entail.
Songshin auditioned as a vocalist, but during the recording of their debut song he was told he had to be the rapper of the group. While he believes he’s grown into the position now, Songshin feels as though DMTC’s debut was rocky because he had no clue what he was doing. He says his lack of polish was the reason for many fights within DMTC up until the departure of Eli and Sunoh in 2018. While he didn’t care for idol life originally, being in Dreamatics has truly ingrained in him the importance of teamwork and he can no longer see himself doing anything but continue to work with the people he considers his family.
Dreamatic < 드리마틱 > also known as DMTC < 디엠티씨 > is a fictional three member boy group promoting under Blue Sky Music. DMTC made their debut in May of 2016 with 5 members, but being under a brand new label at the time, their debut album, Automatic, and subsequent title track, Warning!, was met with little success. For the next two years, DMTC would continue to struggle, with 2 members leaving the group in April of 2018, and the remaining 3 being placed on hiatus until March of 2020.
DMTC’s hiatus seemed to be their saving grace, as it allowed the three remaining members to explore solo activities and spend time with fans on vlive nearly every night. Thanks to this, the group became well known for their loose and carefree attitude, which is often highlighted by their performances on variety shows, the members having found more success through making fools of themselves on running man than through their music.
Despite the group’s rocky start and lack of tangible concept, DMTC found their footing post hiatus, adopting the title of ‘Dreamers for Hire’ as the members began to delve into peoples’ slumbering minds. DMTC were hired to help rid clients of nightmares, insomnia, bouts of sleep walking, and the dreamless sleep known as “The Noid”. Their music videos have taken place in all sorts of dreamworlds, with all but one client, Melody, remaining nameless. This has driven fans to theorize that Melody might have DMTC trapped within her dream.

ੈ♡˳ S is the debut studio album by Seulbee, known as a member of the girl group Melliminx. The album was released on June 27, 2022 through the group's label, Prismade Media, and has a ten-song tracklist plus three CD-exclusive songs that included tracks in both Korean and English. Over four weeks, Seulbee promoted title track "RAIN STAR" along with subtitle tracks "Pretty Boys" and "Don't Worry", though more than those had track videos filmed and posted online.

Seulbee is the last of the original Melliminx members to have her solo debut, and is arguably the most anticipated because of how involved she is with her music. S helped show off her abilities as a soloist with all thirteen songs being heavily produced and written by her: during the era, Seulbee finally opened a SoundCloud account and promised to not hoard everything away for years with how much she makes and was unable to release under Imaginaut's contract.
With S being a full studio album, fans finally got to see her branch out with features on a few songs as well as in the music credits that included Bee and May (@yunivs) who worked with her on "RAIN STAR", "Face It", "Don't Worry" and "That's On You!" as well as Stella (@yunivs) and BSWEET (@aviewrld) on "Pretty Boys", with the latter also working on "Lost Night", "Swim", and "Xonata".
Though she didn't receive any music show wins, Seulbee did very well on the Korean and American charts. Fans were glad to see multiple sides of her from vulnerability to a few songs what were clearly referring to her past relationship with DEAD AIR's Taichi.
Do you ever think you'll make photoshop templates??? Your so good at it!
i've thought about it!! ik the reason i haven't so far is because my process is stupid messy and involves a lot of weird extra material and adjustment layers + filters. if i were to post a template, those psds would need some intense cleaning up to be easy to follow
