As nature lovers, we're truly delighted to have our homecooked lunch under the trees, enjoy the warm breeze, take naps on a hammock, slow down, breathe, reflect on the goodness of God, be in tune with nature, and watch our children have loads of fun. Thankful!

Overnight camping, barn cabin stay, strolling, foodtripping, kite flying, photography sessions, pigeon feeding, sightseeing, relaxing, visitng Philippine's smallest chapel, chilling by the bonfire and more! 😍

18 July 2026 || Happy Sabbath!

There's footwashing and communion today and thankful for the reminder to serve in humility, ask for forgiveness, forgive others, and reflect on Christ's death and reason for it once again. ♥️🙏

Thankful to see again sis Dr. Meriam Fonte with her fellow Doctors to the Barrios who are deployed here in Bicol and will serve the communities here for 3 years 🥰🙏 may God bless and empower them all!

Another homeschooling week! Aianna's been starting her sight reading and so far so good! They love their bahay-bahayan too and having less screentime because of it. Kiaree's doing well in her piano practices as well. Praising God to be here in Bicol with our dzadzi! We love bonding with our kids, and one thing we found out we all liked is playing pickle ball! 🤗

12 July 2026 || Ligñon Hill

I said I'd never hike this hill (or any hill) haha but the dzadzi and kids were sooo game, so yep, I did and it was so worth it kahit todo hingal. 😅

Ligñon hill is not an active volcano, but is considered a prehistoric cinder cone formed by volcanic activity. This 512-foot hill offers views of Mayon, Albay gulf and cityscape. It's a nature park and the official site of the PHIVOLCS Mayon Volcano Observatory. It's easily accessible with just a short hike on the paved road up the hill. Super good for family trips and kids will surely enjoy! 🥰

11 July 2026 || Happy Sabbath!

Blessed Sabbath! Thankful to be reminded of "what is in my hand" right now and surrender it to God---motherhood and being a wife. "Unless it is surrendered to God, whatever is in your hand will not do any miracle."

After church, we headed to Quituinan ranch to have our homecooked packed lunch that dzadzi prepared. ♥️♥️♥️ thankful!

A different kind of date, one that doesnt really leave our kids behind, and one that we truly enjoy ♥️

Then a sweet treat at serenitea and a grocery run where the kids are in charge with their small carts, and paying in the cashier. So proud of them!

Sunday: Spent our time at the mall shopping 😍 hahaha thankful!

Monday: our dzadzi went to Manila for a day, and it's just me and the kids left. But thankful they are all so loving to mama today and gave me their full cooperation ♥️🙏

Tuesday and Wednesday: a lot of crafts, chores, reading, writing, and piano practices!

Thursday: our journaling materials arrived! I'm the happiest! Thanks dzadzi! 😍😍😍

4 July 2026 || Happy Sabbath!

Thankful to be reminded of why we are homeschooling. Today, God's message centered on making our families the most important missionfield, in that we make sure that we know, love and obey God 🙏

Spent the late Sabbath afternoon at this ranch seated atop the rolling Quituinan Hills in Camalig, Albay.

It's the perfect place for camping and picnics and offers an unobstructed view of the majestic Mayon. Ganda! 💚

We're thankful to watch our children grow everyday. We're thankful to celebrate their small joys. We're thankful to listen to all their stories; and their giggles and laughter are music to our ears. We're thankful to be fully present in their lives. Seeing them play together like this beaming with happiness is surreal at times. There are moments I stop and let it sink in, think and pray-- wow, we have three kids. Thank You Lord for these precious gifts. Help us train them in the way they should go. ♥️🙏

3 July 2026 || Albay Park and Wildlife

Walking distance from where we stay is this little zoo! Our first time seeing a Cassowary 💙🧡 gandaaaaa!

Also a first time for Jacob to touch a snake 😁 Lovin all the other beauitful birds too. 🥰

Then SM where my love gave me 3 hours of Me Time, and he took the kids to a 2-hr Kidzoona playdate! Thankful! 🩷

27 June 2026 || Happy Sabbath!

Went to Legazpi SDA Church today and so happy to be reflecting whether I "lift Christ" in my life, in our marriage, in our children's education. Christ should be the center of our lives, above all the laws and principles and to do and what not to do. It is our love for and faith in Him that results to our obedience.

Guilt. Grace. Gratitude. ♥️🙏

24 June 2026 || Kiaree's Math

For days, we've been familiarizing the kids with Philippine money. So, for dessert date tonight, we let them pay and get the change. They enjoy it! They love the little interaction with the seller. It's one way of boosting their social skills.

We did a little night stroll at Tamaoyan-Pawa, and filling our tummies with such moist muffins. 🧁 Meanwhile, Mayon decided to spew out some glowing lava. People around us don't seem to bother, looks like it's a normal occurence. Hehe but it's so mesmerizing to look at!

Back home, Kiaree identified each bill and each coin and she counted the change and got it right! 👏 yey!

Days before this, we've discussed about what money is, what it serves us for including trade and barter, such big words for a 7 year old. But when explained to her why and how Jesus traded His life for ours, her knowledge of not just Math but of God's love deepened.

21 June 2026 || Bacacay, Albay

Today, come travel with us and explore some of the places in Bacacay, Albay! Our main trip today is to Mosboron Beach. It's al white sand beach with a few cottages, can pitch tents and have overnight too. Water is clear and calm with soft waves. Glad to celebrate Jacob's first birthday here. 🌊

On the way to the beach, we drove across the Sula Bridge connecting mainland Albay to Cagraray Island. Beneath is the stunning Sula channel with its turquoise waters. 🩵

After swimming, we headed to Cagraray Eco-Energy Park, a 110-hectare sustainable tourism destination. This video features an open-air, Greek style stone ampitheater overlooking the ocean. There are adventure activities too like zip-lining and ATV rides.

Only on our drive home that we spotted majestic Mayon!

20 June 2026 || Happy Sabbath!

First Sabbath in Bicol spent at Naga View College Church which is almost 3 hours from Legazpi. Had to be in Naga because we needed to borrow a piano organ from Clark's friend. Thankful for their kindness!

My takeaway from the message today is spend time with the Word daily 🙏

Always thankful! ♥️ God is good!
