Face to Face: Adrian & Gabrielle.
gabbyamour:
Gabrielle looked to her husband smirking slightly despite. âI love you tooâ she breathed out happily as she looked up at him. âWe are having another babyâ she said again. âThree kidsâ she punctuated âJesusâ she said as she dropped her head back against his chest with a small giggle. Her eyes dropped to his hand as it rested on her stomach. âI have to give my doctor a callâŠâ
Adrianâs hands gently rubbed her stomach as his chin rested on her shoulder. He nodded slowly, chuckling out, ânot one, not two, but three.â His finger gently swirled around her navel before he patted her stomach. âOkay, let me know when,â he told her softly, pressing another kiss to her cheek.Â
Face to Face: Adrian & Gabrielle.
gabbyamour:
At his words she closed her eyes slowly, just resting in the feel on him holding her tight to his chest. Her hands caressed his back tenderly âI knowâ she said softly. âJust scaredâŠâ she told him as she opened her eyes again sighing softly to herself.Â
Holding his wife close, Adrian gently rubbed her stomach. They were going to have another child. He definitely had mixed emotions about it but in the end, he was happy. They had created something special rather they were prepared for it or not. Looking down at Gabrielle, he kissed her cheek. âI love you,â he said gently. âAnd I got you.â He told her as he whispered into her ear. âWeâre in this together.â
Face to Face: Adrian & Gabrielle.
gabbyamour:
His words did nothing to soothe her feeling nor her cries. âI donât think we could afford another sick child and I donât mean financiallyâ she told her sniffling hard as she wiped tears with her fingers. She dried her eyes and her cheeks slowly, sniffling again. âI donât know if I can deal with that again Adrianâ she said honestly as she looked to him. She sat the cup back against the table and she leaned into him wrapping her arms around him as well as she laid her head on his chest pulling her other leg up on the bed.Â
At her words, Adrian sighed softly. She was right. Having Aniya and having to worry about herself was enough heartache for a lifetime. âLetâs think positive baby,â he told her gently as he held her a little tighter. As she curled up against him, he slid back against the headboard and began to rock them from left to right as his hands slid to her stomach. âItâs going to be okay,â he told her gently, kissing her hair.Â
Face to Face: Adrian & Gabrielle.
gabbyamour:
At his simple âohâ her eyes closed gently, she tucked her lips into her mouth and she swallowed hard. She turned to look to him as he slid next to her and she shook her head a bit before she shrugged her shoulder her emotions were all over the place, she moved her hands to her face in a flash as she began to cry. âScaredâ she told him between sobs. Her other hand perfectly gripped the mug in order to not spill any of the hot liquid as she cried. It wasnât hormones talking and reacting to him it was her, her fear of having another sick child, her fear of him not wanting one, her fear that this gave lead way for Natalie.Â
Adrian sat there, gently rubbing Gabrielleâs back as she began to cry. He tucked his lips inward, trying to decide how he felt on the matter. It wasnât that he didnât want another baby because he did. He just didnât want one right now. Both of their children were in their terrible twos and it was a lot right now. At her response to his question, he looked at her. âItâs going to be okay,â he said gently as he carefully pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her.Â
Face to Face: Adrian & Gabrielle.
gabbyamour:
Gabrielle adjusted the robe she was sporting, she nibbled her lip a bit before she sighed heavily. She didnât know how he felt, she didnât know how she felt. They hadnât talked about this. But she guessed theyâd be talking about this today. âIâmâ she started, blinking slowly, the words hadnât left her mouth since sheâd said it to her mother a few days ago. âIâm pregnantâ she told him sadly as she lifted the cup to her mouth again, she drunk some of the tea down to soothe her stomach. âI took a home pregnancy test a few days ago, I didnât know how to really tell youâŠ.â she trailed off, she didnât meet his gaze her eyes stayed low and she rested the up in her lap both hands holding it delicately.Â
Adrian shifted slightly, glancing back at the laptop as he changed the settings within the application. Looking back at Gabrielle, he waited patiently for the important information that she needed to tell him and when she finally broke the news, he froze. Pregnant? He gazed at her, his eyes taking her in. âOh,â he said softly as he pushed the laptop off his lap and slid closer to her on the bed. He was quiet for a moment, just letting the news sink in as he placed his hand on her shoulder. âHow do you feel?â
Face to Face: Adrian & Gabrielle.
gabbyamour:
Gabrielle walked into her and Adrianâs bedroom. She licked her lips as she picked up her cup of tea from the nightstand moving to climb up on the bed carefully. She sat on one leg, tucking it beneath her as the other dangled off the bed a bit. âBaby?â she said sighing softly before she took a sip of tea. âI have something to tell you⊠itâs importantâ she said softly. She held the cup in her hand and she looked to him for a moment before she looked away tucking a loose curl behind her ear.Â
Sitting on the bed Adrian shifted through his emails from work, trying to find which specific one to send this project that he had been working on to. Sighing out, his eyes flickered down towards the notepad that was sitting beside him before he grunted. He had scrolled past the email about ten minutes ago and didnât even notice. Scrolling back up, he opened the email and moved to attach the file before he glanced at Gabrielle as she sat down on the bed. He looked back at the laptop, pressing send before he opened up a new tab in illustrator. At Gabrielleâs words, he looked over at her. âWhatâs up babe?â

INVOLVED: Natalie Rose-Owens and Gabrielle Reed TIME FRAME: Wednesday, April 26, 2017 LOCATION: Reed Household; Miami, Florida SUMMARY: Natalie come over Gabrielle and Adrianâs house in hopes of seeing Christopher.
NATALIE ROSE-OWENS
Natalie slid out of the car slowly, eyeing the beautiful house as she closed the door behind her. Holding her purse in the crook of her arm, she dropped the keys into it. Walking up to the house, she sighed gently. She was nervous. She had been fighting with Adrian for weeks now and all she wanted to do was see her child for five minutes. Hiring lawyers and making this into a custody battle wasnât apart of the plan. She didnât want custody of Christopher. She wasnât stupid, she knew Christopher wasnât hers anymore. He was Gabrielleâs child. Gabrielle was his mother. She knew that. She just wanted to see him. At the least just once without someone snatching him away and ushering her out of the building. Sighing once more, she knocked on the door before she noticed the doorbell off to the side and she pressed it once before stepping back and waiting patiently, her hands resting against her small baby bump.
Gabrielle Reed.
Gabrielle looked to Aniya and Christopher as they both ate a snack in the kitchen, she left them alone for a second as she moved to her purse in search for her phone. Gabrielle grabbed the red phone and she moved to her calendar, counting off days in her head slowly as she did. She licked her lips slowly as she leaned back looking to the kids again before her eyes darted back to the phone âshitâ she cursed under her breath. âThat canât be rightâ she said as she counted once more in her head. She sat the phone back down on the counter before she heard a knock at the door and then the doorbell ringing, and for a second she was elated. Sheâs been looking for a package in the mail for some time now, she wanted to sew something for Aniya and Christopher and sheâd been expecting the fabrics for some days. She moved to the door, unlocking it and opening it to see Natalie. âGet the hell off my doorstepâ she said outright as she looked to her shifting on her heels.
NATALIE ROSE-OWENS
Natalie stood there nervously, staring at the bushes as they flowed in the wind. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she prayed that Adrian was home. She was sure if they could just sit down and talk about it calmly that they could settle this. Sighing out, she brushed some of her braids behind her shoulder as the door swung open. Looking up slowly, Natalie gazed at Gabrielle. âI-â she opened and closed her mouth a few times before she took a step back. âIâm not here to cause any trouble I swear,â she said one hand on her stomach as she held the other up. âCan we just talk for a minute?â
Gabrielle Reed.
Gabrielle looked to Natalie taking her in, everything including her growing stomach. Her eyes traveled back up to her face and she stood their silently as she practically sliced her throat with her eyes, if looks indeed killed Natalie was all ready 6 foot under. Gabrielle blinked slowly at her, she didnât utter a word at all as Natalie suggested they sit down for a moment to talk. âNo we canât because he have nothing to talk aboutâ she said folding her arms over her chest. âYou need to go, and donât ever come backâ she said her voice still calm, cool, and collected even though she was fuming on the inside.
NATALIE ROSE-OWENS
Standing there, Natalie felt ashamed under Gabrielleâs scrutiny. Gabrielle had every single right to be mad at her. Had every single right to hate her and kick her off of her doorstep. Looking down, Natalieâs eyes grew full of tears and she had to blink them away. âI am sorry Gabrielle,â Natalie apologized out-right. âI know there is absolutely nothing that I can do or say to be forgiven for what I did but from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry.â Raising her head, she looked at Gabrielle, gazing into the other womanâs eyes. âThank you for raising him. Youâre an amazing womanâŠâ she said gently before she turned to walk away, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Gabrielle Reed.
Gabrielle arms stayed crossed over her chest, she listened as the girl spoke and though she was trying to be heart felt Gabrielle could careless. She licked her lipstick painted lips and she asked âwhat do you want Natalie? What is that you want from us?â she breathed out as she looked back behind her, she wanted to check on the kids but she wouldnât allow her into her home. Pregnant or not, Natalie wouldnât step foot in her threshold not with what she was doing now. And tears just didnât seem to phase Gabby none. But she wanted to know the womanâs plans even with what Adrian told her sheâd play dumb so she could determined where all three of them stood, in order to devise her plan and next move.
NATALIE ROSE-OWENS
Turning back at Gabrielleâs question, Natalie looked down. âI just want to see him,â she told Gabrielle honestly. âI didnât mean for this to turn into a custody battle. I swear I didnât.â Sniffling a little, she wiped a few of her tears. âI know that Christopher is your son. I just want to see him one time,â she said softly. âAdrian was so angry when he saw me that I couldnât get more then ten seconds to even look at Christopher,â she said lifting her head to look into Gabrielleâs eyes. âHe had every single right to be but Gabrielle, please.â She pleaded with the slightly older woman. âI will stop it all. I will drop the case if you just let me see him. I just want to see him.â Her eyes were wide and red but they were honest.
Gabrielle Reed.
Gabrielle blinked slowly again as she exhaled roughly though her nose. âYou are damn right you didnât have to turn this into a battle at all. You could have left it alone because after all no one took him from you. You walked away from him. And I just wonât let bygones be bygones because you want to shed a few tears. Heâs a childâ she breathed. âYou showing up can cause a World of trouble for Adrian and I in the future. Have you even thought about that you selfish bitchâ she said getting beside herself and she dropped her head. âI am sorryâ she said âI shouldnât have called you out of your name. But you are selfish, as hell. Selfish for walking away and even more selfish to just drop back in and turn that childâs World upside down because now you want to have a consciousâ she sighed heavily as she looked back up at her.
NATALIE ROSE-OWENS
Natalie stood there dropping her head as Gabrielle spoke. She didnât mean to cry like this but she was extremely emotional due to her pregnancy. With her head low, she wiped her tears, her hat hiding her face as she did so. Gabrielle was right. This was a selfish act that she was trying to accomplish. Seeing Christopher was for herself, not for him. She just wanted some type of closure. She had moved on. She was married now, she was expecting another child. She just wanted to close this chapter of her life, but maybe it wasnât meant to be. Looking up slowly, she nodded at Gabrielleâs words. âYouâre right,â she said gently as she sniffled. âI am sorry. Iâll go.â She turned slowly, moving down the walkway towards her car.
Gabrielle Reed.
Gabrielle looked to Natalie at her words and she watched the girl turn to leave. She watched her walk towards her car before she turned around and she closed the door behind her. Locking it shut she inhaled sharply before she closed her eyes for a split second. She turned to see Christopher standing behind her and she looked to him for a moment before she walked past his small figure moving back towards the kitchen. âMama?â he said quietly as he stared at the door and Gabrielle turned to look to him, her eyes narrowing slightly at the child as she stood there watching him.
NATALIE ROSE-OWENS
Natalie pulled the keys from the purse and hit the button on the remote as she moved towards her car. Sliding into the drivers side she sat her purse down in the passengers seat before pulling her hat off her head and sitting it down as well. With her keys in hand, she gripped the steering wheel, dropping her head against it as she cried. She had tried. Thatâs all that she could do. She came to Gabrielle woman to woman and told her the truth and that was absolutely all that she could do. Reaching for her purse she pulled her phone out and called her lawyer. The older man answered after three rings and immediately Natalie told him to stop. To drop the case and just stop. Christopher was no longer her son and that was clear to her. Sometimes not getting closure, is closure enough.
