❌ Trump falsely claimed Zelenskyy's approval is just 4%.

✅ Reality: Ukrainian polls show 57% approval for Zelenskyy – higher than Trump's own 48% rating.

During his Mar-a-Lago press conference, President Trump stated that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy's approval rating is just 4%, using this claim to justify his position that Ukraine should hold elections despite martial law.

The facts? Independent polling from the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology shows Zelenskyy's trust rating is actually 57% – more than 10 times higher than Trump claimed.

Even more revealing: Zelenskyy's approval rating currently exceeds Trump's own ratings (46-48% across major US polls).

Trump also suggested Ukrainian elections should proceed during wartime – a position 60% of Ukrainians oppose according to Rating Sociological group's February survey.

The contrast is striking: While Zelenskyy's support has naturally declined from wartime highs of 90%, he maintains majority backing despite three years of full-scale invasion. Meanwhile, Russia keeps pushing the "illegitimate president" narrative to undermine Ukraine's leadership.

Why does this matter? Because disinformation about Ukraine's leadership serves Russia's strategic goals of dividing Western support and creating political instability.
