@zerosixxxone!
the snowy hills that people were sliding down looked so much fun! it looked like they had certain items that they used to play, so he had done his best to match. two sticks that he held onto and branches that had been laying around that he stood on. when he tried to move forward, his paws came off the branches, so he wasn’t sure how they stuck to the humans’ feet. so holding onto all four pieces, he scampered towards the hills and stopped near the area, looking around for someone who might help him figure out the trick. oh, there was someone he could try asking. “Pikachupi?”
While Spikemuth was blessed more than its fair share of snow each winter, Piers had never skied before in his life. Watching a small yellow rodent attempt the gesture was cloyingly cute; how could anyone ignore such an honest plea for help?
Snuffing his cigarette on his heel, he knelt to Pikachu’s level.
“Need a hand? ‘ere, let me take a look,”
Of course Ziggy was absolutely obsessed with the contraption, sniffling at the makeshift equipment until he was quieted by a hand smoothing out the fur on his head.
In the meanwhile, the musician arrived at the same conclusion. There was no way to keep the miniature skis on! Humans usually wore some kind of boot, but there was no telling where they’d find a pair that were Pikachu-sized! Seeming to read his trainer’s mind, the Zigzagoon had left and returned with a mouthful of pliable sticks.
“We’ll suss this out,” he assured, reaching for the branches so he could start piecing it all together.
