I'm getting particularly sick of hearing folks everywhere say, "positive attitude leads to better health. Maybe your illnesses/diseases wouldn't exist if you changed your mindset."
Yeah, i have torturously got myself in shape just so i can HANDLE all these things. You think negativity got me there?
I've been lying to my brain since childhood, when chronic illnesses started. Your whole life, you get told by family & friends that you aren't sick.
i wouldn't be able to have the mobility today if i didn't work for years at it. I couldn't even take the stairs up & down without feeling like dying.
my brain basically went, "if you don't get active, you're going to die" & started shutting down on me. I can't do cardio, cause i faint with ME/CFS, so everything was core exercises, & now i don't have to use my cane most of the time (yet).
My "positive attitude" saved me, but diseases will remain.

Get your tickets and be there September 9th and an encore on September 13th. Join us, won't you?
