Worrying about myself lately......

I have noticed with increasing severity over the past few months that I am VERY bad at recognizing people's faces. I mistake other people for my best friend if they have similar style or hair color, I fail to recognize my counselor when she comes out of her office, hell I couldn't even pick out my boyfriend in a crowd when he arrived at my city's airport over winter break, and I was briefly genuinely fearful of my own father when he got too close to me at the mall and I thought he was a random man.

Am I tweaking ??? Is this a legitimate issue ???? Should I talk to someone about this ????

Being a military collector is fun because I've seen these objects in museums before and wondered so much about them, but now I just have some in the corner of my dorm room and I'm like "huh so that's how much that thing weighs/that's what it smells like/that's how the texture feels" and I don't have to wonder anymore !!!

Now I look at things in museums and think "Hm. I wonder what antique store might have one of those lying around. I want one."
