Hey lovely people, I know everyone is struggling but i thought I’d ask. I very recently ran into some car trouble due to a pretty bad snow storm. Despite going only a few miles an hour, I spun out and hit a curb to avoid rear ending the car in front of me. At the very least, I expect to have to get a new tire, hopefully my axle and the rest of my wheel are okay but I know I’ll have to pay a bit. Going to a shop today (12/30) if I can to find out just how bad it is. If there’s anyone that’s been thinking donating/helping me out, it would mean a lot!

I had to get a new tire, and I am mobile but can feel the difference in how my car drives (in a not good way), wheel pulling, brakes feel weird, etc. I’m gonna take it easy and I have an appointment at a shop in a few days for a diagnostics check + front end alignment, and to see what that wheel's brake/rotor needs. The tire turned out to be cheaper than anticipated but I am not sure how much the appointment and labors/parts will cost me yet.

Again if you find a more urgent seeming post, I understand. But those that feel up to sharing/donating, it’s truly appreciated!
