another day of waking up without a TLKOF arc…

Hi! Thank you for being so kind and taking the time to answer these questions 🥹! Just curious, from how they’re described, would you say Kit has more of a handsome/hot/a bit more masculine sort of attractiveness while Ty has a more angelic or elegant look to him? Have a nice day! 🖤
Hi! They aren't really described along those lines in this book, mostly because Kit is super into Ty and doesn't think that he himself is anything special. A lot of the references to Kit's attractiveness from previous books talk about his resemblance to Rosemary and Auraline (stereotypically "pretty" lips, eyes, and hair), so I think even though he seems relatively boyish there's something delicate about his features. And Kit himself thinks in tda that although Ty seems elegant and almost fragile, he's also deceptively strong and solid. So I'd say each of them are a mix of both! There's a word Ty eventually uses to describe Kit that was a little devastating to me, and it isn't altogether roguish or masculine.
I hope you’re having a good day <3 A few other arc readers have said that Kit’s level of yearning reminded them of James Herondale’s during tlh, and I was wondering if you agree with this?
Hi, thanks! Yeah, Kit’s in an interesting position where he’s pining like crazy but he also desperately doesn’t want to acknowledge it. We’ve seen tsc characters yearning without hope of relief before (Julian and Emma, Will, Jace and Clary, etc) but what I like about Kit’s story is that he’s suppressing what he wants because of personal issues/avoidance rather than external threats. He’s also a lot quieter about it than some of the other characters we’ve seen - like in tda, he’s outwardly sarcastic and sometimes flippant but spends a lot of time in his head - so in that sense I’d say he’s like James

so jealous that you got to read tlkof! I know you can't answer anything too spoilery or plot related, so i'll just ask if the characters are actually as good looking as they are in frostbite studios art? like would you say they're described on paper as being objectively extremely attractive?
thank you for doing the lord's work for us <3
Kit despairs over Ty's ethereal beauty every three seconds. Dru thinks Ash is supernaturally hot and it pisses her off every two seconds. People keep calling Kit gorgeous and the teenager types in the Seelie court snark about how Dru is the baddest around. They may be bitchy but they cannot lie, and neither did frostbite studios.

it’s amazing how women are able to navigate crowded rooms without ever touching a palm to a man’s lower back
you'd think occasionally men would need to touch other men like this to manoeuvre them out of the way but it never happens
