Introduction ❀

Hello, my name is Lyn and I‘m bodily 18.

I‘ve started writing out this story since March and I am happy to announce that I can post about it and show people the diversity of these characters.

Please ask about the characters if you want to know something, I love receiving questions and I will answer to any of them.

@zetsubobu was the reason as to why we created this tumblr account, since they‘ve talked about tumblr in a way that made us feel safe to use it.

Some information about 10 petals:

This is a detective story in which supernatural activities will happen but once again, they‘re uncommon so I will not put my focus on everyone having a supernatural ability, because they don’t have any.

This is all for fun, I‘ve been working on 10 petals since march and this interest has been growing more and more, so I wanted to make it an official thing and finally post about it.

All the characters are adults but if you do sexualise specific characters, I will tell you to stop.

I personally don’t mind if you say something like: "they‘re so hot" or something similar.

But I do not want to block people for sexualising a character so much that I feel like this is going too much. So please keep in mind, that yes you‘re allowed to do what you please but you shouldn’t step over my boundary.

10 petals will be a written novel AND a Webtoon.

So please do realise if I do not update on here is because I‘m working on either the novel or the webtoon.

About the Novel:

This is going to take longer than the webtoon, I hope I would be able to finish writing the Novel around 2024-2025 as I have a busy schedule and can’t always concentrate on it. But I‘ve been writing on it for now weeks.

The Novel WILL have more informations than the Webtoon.

About the Webtoon:

As soon as I finish introducing all characters, I will do one big drawings of everyone and then start on the webtoon. When the first episode will be finished I‘m not sure, as this whole week I‘ve been studying like hell and this will probably only get worse as the time goes on.

I will still post mini comics in which I then explain the characters more and show you that work is going smoothly.

About the Characters:

As soon as I finish introducing them all, I will edit this post and add each and everyone of them. But for now I‘ve run into difficulties as Five has a protective hairstyle (as you know this is also a tradition passed down) and I do not want to make it look racist. So until I have not spoken with someone that is Black and can give me advice of the way I do the hair, I will not post her.

Ten

His role

An ex-police officer. Not being allowed to say why he was fired, he‘s pissed off and wants to finally show off the truth. Since he was one the higher ups on the police force, no one was allowed if he was fired or not. Meaning he‘s allowed to use police cars and weapons if it isn‘t in his police force. He uses the power to make sure that people will take him seriously.

His characterstic

Usually optimistic, but also shows a lot of anger and how pissy he is. Always caring about people and always showing care in his way. Due to his anger people don‘t trust him that often but he definitely is the most trustworthy person in the whole group.

His looks

He is a simple guy. If he doesn’t wear his police suit then he only wears a shirt and jeans. Slightly making sure that he looks elegant but also wearing the gray shirt.

He sees two like a child of him.

Nine

Role

Nine has big connections. Being born in a wealthy family, Nine has the connection that needed. Always having bodyguards and never being left alone.

Charactertist

Nine has what you call, no emotions. Never having experienced love, not knowing how to love and not knowing how to even show emotions as it‘s been told that it shows weakness.

Looks

Nine doesn’t decide what to wear. Always wearing what the parents want Nine should wear. The only thing that Nine could have chosen is the colour, which will always be purple until Nine finally does find the solution to the problem and mistery.

Nine does deeply care of Four, without knowing.

Eight

His roles

He‘s the actual detective for the group. Having experience he knows what he‘s doing and isn’t afraid of anything.

His characteristic

He is a quiet yet truthful guy. He makes himself really courageous, even tho he is the guy to be scared of spiders and would scream like a child until someone takes it out. He does have special interests like coins and space and always takes time to talk about it in some way.

His looks

He is a simply guy, he always wore red in his time. So he never stopped wearing it in some way. Everyday he wears red, but everyday you can guess where the red is. Sometimes on his ears as an earring, sometimes as a shirt and well, when you can’t see the red. You can guess what is under his clothes is red in some way.

Seven

Her Role

She‘s quiet important when it comes to talking and dressing up. She always has a costume for everything and she knows where to get those specific costumes. She does them herself when truly needed, but usually they have everything for every occasion.

Her characterstic

She‘s a joyful, happy sunshine that only is there because of her twin being there. She always sees good in people and she personally always wants to get closer to people that share her same hobbies. Due to her being so joyous all of the time, she tends to talk with everyone she sees. Making sure to make a friend out of everyone. She always finds a way to smile and to be as cuddly as possible. She knows when she‘s too much and is quiet understanding when some people don‘t like specific touches.

Her looks

She takes her colour, yellow, very seriously. She always makes sure to find a way to bring yellow in her outfits. She has such a wide range of costumes that she always finds a way, sometimes even does those outfits while at work. She doesn’t follow the dresscode in her university, so she will always wear what she wants

Six

Her role

Six‘s role is simple, she is there to know all important historical events. Either being super old, or new. She knows everything when it comes to history and is there to inform and show how to do proper research, no matter how long it will take. She takes her role extremely serious.

Her characterstic

She‘s shy, She doesn’t like being in the Spotlight and would rather stay alone and do everything by herself. She sometimes works out, show offs that she can be strong because she wants to help out her sister a lot, to make sure that her sister has the best life. She doesn‘t go out often as she‘s too busy reading facts about people that interest her. But when she does go out, she will go extreme adventures. She‘s still a student at a university, as to why She doesn’t always have time for works but she tries her best.

Her looks

She is lazy when it comes to dressing up, she usually just goes with her uniform that she always wears. Of course it always gets washed, but overall She doesn’t care about her looks until she‘s pleased with herself.

Five

Her Role

Her Role is simple yet slightly complicated. As she also makes sure that the electronic is working correctly, she also needs to get them into places. Her family being well known for owning a famous school, she has no fear of something happening to her. So she always takes off on adventures and got to learn everything around her.

Characteristic

She's socially active girl, doesn't go on parties as it's not her thing but she makes sure to be nice to everyone around her. Yet nothing stops her from calling out people when needed, and she doesn't always like the people she talks with. She isn't as confrontetional as she should be, so even if she knows everything around her, she would still rather run away than decide to confront.

Outfit choices

She doesn't want to stand out too much, she cares about her colour being Baby blue so she will always make sure there is some baby blue on her. But she would mainly wear something she feels good in, something that makes her comfortable and isn't too tacky.

Six and Seven are twins. You can never see it, because they don‘t like to show it that they are siblings.

They don’t hate each other, not at all. They‘re actually busy working together because they can not work alone.

But still, they don’t like talking about how they‘re twins. They dislike the fact that they always get asked stupid questions like: "Do you guys can read each others mind?"

But on one mission, they didn’t regret playing along.

This mission was also a weird one, infiltrate, steal the informations that are needed and then walk away. Everything was going well until they needed to go away, for some reason someone found them. That someone ended up being intoxicated, but they still couldn’t run off as he was holding an illegal gun towards them.

But then the two came into an idea, trick the man into believing that there‘s only one person.

It was sort of hard at first, well they have two different hair colours and different body types. But they had something similar, their eyes. Their eyes alway has a shiny yellow on them. It wad reflecting everything so well you can think it was the sun but in water.

They tricked him into looking their eyes and tell him that indeed they‘re the same. And that all of this is his imagination and that he‘s only being delusional about seeing two different people.

He seemed too intoxicated to understand that indeed they‘re two different people. But in the end he walked away, not because of the belief but because he thought he was going to panic by believing he‘s seeing two different people.

After that day, six and seven have been trying to wear similar outfits and hair styles, so that if something like that happens they can act like they‘re the same again. If that will work again? We will need to see.

Two met someone new.

Everyone can feel that.

Usually Two is the type to barely show up to work or only show up to make a big show out of it and then go away again. He‘s never the type to be too early to work and yet here he was, earlier than anyone else. Just sitting on his desk while doodling and humming to himself.

It freaked everyone up, usually it never goes like this. They asked Two if he‘s fine, he only smiled and said yes. It ended up making Ten so mad, he was close to just go to Two and ask him for answers.

Yet, Eight stopped him and so he didn’t ask anything. But Ten had a plan, it was something that isn’t rightfully explained. But he asked Three to hack Two‘s phone.

At first He was hesitant, they never did something like this and it‘s also a coworker. But after Five joined in and convinced him, he finally hacked into two‘s phone and Laptop.

Two was indeed having a crush on someone.

But the 10 petals… they have the mission to stop that guy and arrest him for selling illegal substances. How would they tell Two about this?

Everyone had a…. weird relationship towards each other.

They need each other to complete missions and they admit themselves, whenever someone quits they have it a hard time to do something without that person.

But they still can’t understand each other that well, it may lay on them being named as numbers but people like Two and Ten should never be friends.

Two always capable of stealing Ten‘s motorcycle and then Ten needing to find another way to get home.

Or Five and Nine, they will never be capable of understanding each other. They would actually be more in conflicts than ever, mainly due to how Nine lacks in emotions.

A lot of people also do wonder why Three and Seven are friends. They seem so different, yet they know about each other really well and had multiple sleep overs. Yet they still never talk during work or keep bickering about plans not working.

In the end everyone is so different, that no one understands each other, only other people who knew each other already.

But there is an exception: Eight and Ten.

They seem to have a close connection to each other, they never argue nor fight. They understand each other on a deeper level, so much so that when one is sad or angry the other will know and help as much as possible. They have a bond, a bond that not everyone understands, mainly as to how it happened.

But Eight and Ten don‘t mind, they like each other‘s company afterall.

Due to One and Two being the closests friends, people from the detective agency tend to ask them if they‘re dating.

Usually they ignore it or just say some joke like: "we are but are we now? Maybe we kiss, maybe not"

But ever since a specific mission, Two has been more serious to tell everyone that no they aren’t. He made himself sure to not be close with One.

He seems to still enjoy One‘s company, but he‘s also more busy with going out. It seems like he‘s hiding something.

….

That pissed Ten off. He wants to know what Two is up to. Two always steals his Motorcycle and comes back only late at night.

Ten must find out what Two is up to. He needs his motorcycle to get back home, his home is 1.5 hours away from the agency. He can’t just wait until 2 am every night, can he now?

Well one day Ten followed Two into a bar. This bar seemed weird..?

There was barely anyone inside and it was full of women. They seemed to have surrounded someone, he looked more to see that it was Two they were surrounding.

'Lucky guy' that‘s the first thought that comes on Ten‘s mind. But then he notices Two. Two looks uncomfortable, really uncomfortable.

No one knows what came up on Ten‘s mind but he ended up ordering a bottle of wine and smashing it against a table, so the girls would look at him. That‘s when he started to walk towards Two. Now Two was confused and shocked, he didn’t except anyone he knew in this bar, but he played along when Ten grabbed him and yelled at him like Two was his child.

By how old Ten looks like, everyone could believe it and so the mission worked and Two was dragged away from the bar.

….

On their way back to the Agency, Ten asked: "hey, do you always go there?", Two was hesitant to answer but yet he did. "Yes, not because of the girls always surrounding me. But because of the owner of that bar." "The owner?"

Two was getting more and more nervous to answer, yet he still took a deep sigh and answered: "yes, the owner. I‘ve been eyeing the owner for a while now and I just… want to be asked on a date by that owner"

Ten knew that he would never get Two to tell this much about himself, so he was calm to answer and he was also supportive. "Well, next time tell me for how long you‘ll take my motorcycle. And I‘ll help you get out of these situations, if you can get the owner on a date."

Ten didn‘t seem upset and neither was Two. Actually Two seemed relieved, really relieved he told someone about something that is newly happening in his life. Yet, he knew after that whole fiasco he is going to need a lie to get out of that, but who knows. Maybe the owner got interested in Two after seeing all of this.

Four

Role

Four‘s Role is to know how to sneak into places. Due to their past, they know how to do a lot of illegal marketing. They will never admit it but their role has a lot to do with knowing about murder and similar things.

Their Characteristic

Four is one of the few character that is loud and obnoxious. They like yelling at the top of their lungs and make everyone questions, why indeed they are here as it seems to only pain everyone‘s ears.

They‘re best friends with number Nine and would do anything to ensure Nine‘s safety and well being. They‘re the opposite of Nine and capable of feeling a lot of emotions at once without feeling bad about it, even if it does pain someone. They love adventuring and finding new people to either torment or be close to. They will forever be grateful to have found some people like the other detectives and Four will never forget about their existence.

Outfit choices

Four isn‘t a big fan of having one specific outfit. They like to experiment and tend to choose what they like most about a specific outfit, steal it and then incorporate it into their outfit. They love just having different choices but four feels like their colour is so important, that nowadays they mainly and only wear different shades of green.

They tend to also colour on themselves a lot. Making sure their body is in green in some way or another. Usually using different patterns of animals and putting it on their skin with colour. But only in green to make sure to stay colourfully correct.

Three

Role

His role is to be said as one of the "easiest roles", that being that he works on the computer. He researches everything, he isn’t a hacker but they have a special interest on researching.

Characteristic

He‘s usually quiet and dislikes showing his face. He learned at a young age how to defend himself in danger so they know how to fight and will never be scared to beat someone.

He likes being with people, he doesn’t like talking that much but he loves listening to everything everyone says.

He is described as a shy individual but he‘s the total opposite of shy when they get mad or upset at something or someone.

He usually talks with his normal voice but whenever he can’t talk the computer that was created specifically for him can talk for him.

Outfits

Three dislikes outfits that bring too much attention on himself. So he usually wears something normal. They will be always told that he looks cute and adorable but he just doesn’t too colourfully made outfits.

Extra

Due to him hiding his colour, no one calls him by the colour but by only "three", or, "researcher". He likes both names and doesn’t seem too bothered by it all. But he would never want to reveal his colour or face.

Two

Role

He is One‘s best friend. Without him, she wouldn’t know what to do a lot of stuff. His role is to keep everything in a stable manner, while also occupying on everyone to be alright. He also is the driver and will often more than once drive with a motorcycle or a car big enough for the people needed in the mission.

Character

He isn‘t open, at least to who he‘s working with. He doesn’t like talking about himself and will rather stay alone or go on parties.

His party side is huge as everyday he goes to a party. As he also goes to multiple bars and usually knows everyone and what they want in those bars.

Two takes a long while to get used to changes and people as a whole. He won‘t be able to get used to everything too fast, but he‘s loud. He makes sure to yell when something doesn’t seem right, or to at least point it out.

Two is also generous, as he drove multiple times Six and Seven to their schools or overall drives people around or buys their stuff. He never wants anything in return.

Outfits

He usually likes wearing outfits with a lot of details. Either being in pearls or gold, he would wear anything that he knows has a lot of detail and he would be able to style. He tends to also pic One‘s outfits sometimes so that she doesn’t come to work with an outfit that doesn’t make sense from top to bottom.

Extra

He can’t communicate with his family due to deep trauma with them. As to why he will always change the subject if someone asked about his parents. He also never will show himself naked, not even half naked.

One

Her role:

She is the leader of the agency. As the creator of it, she makes sure to be a good leader. She tries her best but ends up asking the co-leader Two for help, so that She doesn’t messes anything up.

How she is:

One is the creator of the detective Agency. She is fun, energetic and probably really naive. She tends to trust anyone when they sound trustworthy and ends up getting used by those people.

She and Two are close friends, they‘ve been friends since now childhood and can’t be separated at all, they‘ll always be close with each other.

One‘s colour is Orange. Orange is described as youthfulness, energy, and happiness, which are important charactertistics of One. She always ends up making people happy by the way she talks but also by the way they end up convincong the other to do. She seems to always know what to say at the right time, but not always. They‘ve been caught multiple times saying things that are slightly out of hands, something that Two will never forgive.

Looks:

She doesn’t really have a fashion style, they like to wear what makes her the most comfortable. Whenever she does wear something more fashionable is because Two told her too, so that they can go to an important meeting or other expensive diners and talks.

Usually She doesn’t even colour codes her outfits, which will always end up making her look like she‘s from another universe. If it wasn’t for Two, she wouldn’t understand clothes as well. But she‘s always working on bettering her fashion for herself and her hair.

Extra:

She‘s personally one ofmy favourites, as she will end up having a big role with overthinking and actually questioning if she should continue. She doesn’t know what to do and I‘ll try my best to talk about it more often.
