In reference to the previous post, this is a SD40 GATX GMTX I saw the other day, it’s hard to tell the difference when you can really see the nose but once you see it you can tell right away.

Data sheet differences between the second renditions of an SD40 and an SD70M. When I look at these trains I often mistake them for each other, once I see the nose it’s quite easy to tell the difference. However when viewing them between certain obstacles, being trees, fences and playgrounds, which have been common recently, it can be challenging to know exactly what you’re looking at.
