stop promoting a show that is bad for mental health and will cause spikes in suicide rates in teens. mental health professionals know that it is bad to share how someone committed suicide and why/what their note (if there is one) says. the show is basically a long suicide note. it was especially bad that they showed her doing it. they could have at least put suicide hotlines before/after all the episodes but nope. it romanticizes suicide.

first of all, the story isn’t all about suicide, it’s about how words can really hurt people and how we do that to people everyday even not knowing it. the show doesn’t romanticizes suicide and much less promotes it. I think it’s a really realistic history with a lot of learning especially for teens. there are warnings at the beggining of every chapter where there is any explicit scene for sensitive audience. I bet you didn’t even watched it. try to watch interviews from the cast, they explain all of this a lot better :)
