What’s Ramadan really ?

Ramadan is a month, when Muslims around the world fast in the morning and afternoon, to feel the people whom facing hunger in the world, to pure their souls. That’s what consider ‘holy’ in Islam; to feel others. And to celebrate the end of this holy month, every Muslim gives about $10 to a poor family (price for one meal). So if there are 4 members in the family, they give $40 to a poor family, and so on. Also, to celebrate the end of this holy month, we give kids some money, sweets, toys, and whatever can make them smile. Not to mention that we buy them new clothes that day. Ramadan is when all family members gather together. Eat, talk, pray, and feel the connection between them with love and respect. You can clearly see how pure Islam is. You can feel how pretty this religion is. And helping each other, and make people happy is considered ‘holy’ in Islam.
