The Many Faces Of #BabyZoeReina ❤️ It’s been 1 week since she was 1 month early and we are still getting the hang of things! Breast-feeding is like having a 2nd baby. The time, energy, & pain involved. The learning curve and patience can be both emotionally & physically draining - But I think we’re starting to get it! Zoe was born with a slight case of jaundice that just got worse & worse until it peaked 🤞🏼 on Saturday when we had to bring her into the ER. Her numbers just kept getting higher despite the force feeding & Bili blanket we have at home for her. Poor baby has had her foot pricked almost every day since birth. Thankfully since she is ‘vigorous’ and appears healthy they didn’t readmit her, but are letting us continue treatment at home ❤️ She is one sassy lady who isn’t afraid to say ‘nope’. Hopefully with her continued health improvement I can get some cute baby pics, since she was a month early, before my supposed to be maternity pics!
