So today, after months of silence & low activity (plus piling on the lbs!) I asked my better half to take some honest photos of me, to show me just how dreadful I'm looking at the moment & to serve as inspiration the next time I fancy Double Decker bar over hitting the gym. I know not everyone will want to see these, so I apologise to anyone offended by my lack of shame in sharing my lumps & bumps with the world. In one month I will repeat this exercise & compare. I'll continue doing so until I reach a time when I feel happy with the image in the picture. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate myself, but I would love to love myself a bit more. Anyone else feel like this sometimes? I know I certainly do. On those days it's usually the fact I've purposefully not bought 'goodies/baddies' from the supermarket that saves me. On the really bad days I'll just head to the supermarket to buy them anyway! Making changes relies on many factors. Primary; How important that change is to you, How confident you are that you'll manage/maintain that change & how honest you are with yourself about those two things. The cycle of change is an ever constant thing & the part we all punish ourselves for (relapse) should be seen as a learning experience not a failure. A relapse is simply an opportunity to have a rethink before you pick yourself up to start again. #beconfident #achieve #believe
