anger was as much a part of jongin as breathing was, a part of his everyday existence. sometimes he couldn’t even explain why it settled over him, what brought it on, he just knew that sometimes there was this burning, unseated rage boiling somewhere in his soul. and he had to release it. sometimes it was satisfied in small ways, a little rumor spread here and there, a few names called, a few lives manipulated. other times he didn’t know how far he needed to go to keep his rage down.
he’d gone to a bar in search of something to take his aggression out on, and it had been easy, as it always seemed to be when alcohol was involved. he was smart enough to not cause a scene at his casino or at the host club, he may have been unhinged sometimes, but he was always calculated. all it took this time was hitting on some dumb oaf’s girlfriend, laying a hand on her back and flashing her a smile before the oaf was angry and threatening to knock his teeth out.
jongin laughed, and after a few choice words between them, they ended up outside. what he didn’t expect, however, was that the oaf had friends. he’d only seen him and his girl, but he was never the type to back down from a fight. he was angry, and if one person couldn’t take the brunt of his anger, then three could certainly test his limits. he smiled at the three men, “hey, guys, you that scared? you really have to all be here against little old me? sorry your girlfriend was so into me, maybe you just aren’t man enough for her,” he taunted, adopting a sort of innocence about himself to keep it unpredictable. the oaf grunted, and shoved him hard against the alley wall.
