"Aye, I did! Of course in the end I managed to defeat the killer and the rest was history.”
Wally smiled as he continued on with his “real” story. He should tell about how he got his iconic hat next time.
“Blimey, your band there must be quite the talented bunch to be able to do all them genres.”
If it wasn’t for Anne introducing Wartwood to those mentioned genres and some others, he would’ve been very confused.
“Write together? I like your thinkin’ there, 2-D! I’d be glad to.”
When 2-D mentioned the idea of writing a song together, his whole expression brightened up.
“Not everyday someone offers me to write with them. Actually, no one has because no one wants to listen to ol’ Wallace and his stories through song. They’re missin’ out I’m tellin’ ya.”
As the two continued their chatting, the road finally stopped at the cottage. It was small, but it’s what Wally called home.
“And here we are, home sweet home. C'mon, I’ll show you the inside.”
Walking towards the door, he turned the knob and the door opened, showing a small room to which was mostly filled with other instruments he plays.
“Sorry for the mess, erm, don’t get many visitors y'see, so don’t really bother with cleaning the place.”
It seemed like such a thrilling tale, to which 2-D nodded his head enthusiastically at his new friends accomplishment.
“We’re an odd combination of fings.” He smiled, a little proud of his band mates but he wondered if they had met a similar fate, or if they had even noticed he had vanished just yet.
“Brillian’, we’ll get ‘em listenin’!” He was enthusiastic. And, well, by the sound of it Wally here had stories to tell. If 2-D could help him, he would. He’d been more than kind thus far. Soon the duo had stopped afront of a rather cozy looking home. The door, however, was shorter than the lanky singer, so he bent at the knees, and put his head down as he entered and still had managed to smack his head against the door. Donk.
Once inside, he could stand up straight at least and he had very much appreciated it. He’d noted the instruments and found himself smiling at the thought.
“Na’, i’s lovely. Cozy!” He announced, with glee while rubbing his head. “D’you play all these instruments?” He turned on his heels, tilting his head at Wally.
