This is a blog for my ongoing art projects. If you enjoy the images enough to reblog them, please make sure that you do not remove the credits. All of these images are copyrighted Contrary to popular belief, the fact that they are on the internet does not make them public domain. If you are interested in being a subject for any of my projects, especially the scar project, please contact me through the ask feature. Limited edition19x13" fine art prints are available for most of the images here. Please contact me through the ask feature. You can see more of my work at http://www.venditoagency.com
I reported over 30 photos of mine from that tumblr blog that stole more than that (I just gave up at a certain point) and tumblrs reply was them asking me where the photos came from or were produced. 😠
Really, really, really nice work. Did I say REALLY nice? The lighting is fantastic. Find myself looking not at just the model, but the entire image and thinking how beautifully it flows.... Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you! It's so nice to get messages that actually notice the light. Most of the time I get "Nice ."
How helpful is being a photographer to your scoring with hot chicks?
"Very."Being a photographer who routinely shoots with nude models, I am constantly around intelligent, talented, and beautiful women who, by their very nature, remind me that it is wrong to sexualize and objectify women. The respect and honesty of nakedness between a model and photographer is a respect and trust I carry over into the rest of my life, and my respectfulness and blatant honesty score me plenty of “hot chicks.”I doubt I’d get laid nearly as often if not for the incredible respect I have for women everywhere. I’m well-laid, and I think it’s almost entirely due to the fact that I treat everyone as equals, not as conquests. ^_^
In the past I (and many of my creative brothers and sisters) have suggested many mechanisms by which the fruits of our labors could be moderately better protected. I would like to add a suggestion: When I find one of the myriad tumblr blogs that repost my content and change the credits to make it appear that they are the originators of my intellectual property, I would like to be able to block them. And when I block them, it would make sense that my work no longer showed up in their page.
I think it’s time we had protected notes. What do I mean?
Well those of us who like to blog photos are fed up of those who reblog our stuff and strip out our notes about photographer+model credits etc or those blogs who add their…
I enjoy using your service. I think you provide a great platform for artists to share their work and for other people to enjoy artists' work.
That said, you need to be respectful of the efforts that go into creating a the content that populates your site.
When I find that someone has usurped the fruits of my labor, I should not have to scroll through 6949 notes in order to find out who originally posted the stolen image. It should be the FIRST note, not the last one. That would allow me to ask the individual in question to remove it without involving a lawyer and wasting countless time and money.
When that original image is removed you should that removal should cascade throughout the tumblr-verse. So when I ask SpinelessArtThief to remove an image they have presented as their own work and they compy, it should also be removed from LecherousDouchebag1, LecherousDouchebag2, LecherousDouchebag3, etc. ad nauseum.
Please keep in mind that artists use this platform specifically to promote our work. If our work is being stolen more than it is being promoted, we will simply remove it from your platform. There are plenty of other platforms out there that treat artists with respect and, not to put too fine a point on it, offer better services and exposure to people who actually appreciate our work and understand the value of the content we create.
Excellent work! The texture and flow of your b/w is almost sculpture. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Technically, it's not b/w, it's infrared and it's "color." Of course since we can't technically see infrared without some trickery, it's not technically traditional color either …
