Recently I have had the pleasure to visit, Sibbannac, what I belive is a great example of what a Colorado Springs medicinal cannabis care center should be. As I walked up to the store front and giggled to myself about their name. I find the name goofy, but also very fitting. I was greeted at a window in the well kept lobby by the owner. He took my information quickly and I snailed my way in. The dispensing area was nice and open with large chalk boards behind the counters with prices, information, and amazing chalk artwork on them. They sell the common care center products, but are slim on the medibles selection. There is a good reason for the limited variety though. The owner and manager feel that offering patients the most consistent A+ preforming products is better than offering a slew of under preforming products, which in turn would not benefit the patient. The flowers were of a great variety though. Again, not the 30+ strains that some people boast, but Sibbannac provides a few less than that but all at a greater quality. The staff was very knowledgeable and passionate about the medication they provided. All the flowers I had the chance to smell were amazing. They grow soil, and flush for at least 7 days. They also cater to each plants needs so that they each reach their maximum potential. I looked at Chocolope, which is a strain I know well, which was sweet with a hint of bitterness, perfect. I also looked at Querkle, Moby Dick, Cough, Herojuana, and Alaskan something-or-other. While I looked through the flowers we continued to converse about the CO MMJ scene and how it affects the community. On the same note I asked them what they did to help their community. Sibannac holds a bi-weekly drawing for a large cola of one of their strains. Each ticket for the drawing is a mere $2.50, which can win you a multi gram monster. What I feel is the best part though, is that the money collected for the drawing tickets is donated to a charity of the winners choice. It is actions and activities like these drawings that promote a healthier community. So I finally decided on four different strains's flowers. They also told me about their referral program and point system, which allows patient to get medicine for free by referring people and buying meds there. They quickly checked me out, and I left very happy, and I am proud to see another fine establishment like theirs. I am excited to visit again.
Moby Dick
Smell: A very basic cannabis smell, herby.
Smoke: Smooth clean and sweet inhale, Smooth tasteless exhale.
High: Heady high but doesn't ruin focus, makes me happy.
Cough
Smell: Sweet and spicy
Smoke: The inhale was kind of smooth, the exhale delightfully burned my sinuses.
High: Strong stone, spacey stone.
Querkle
Smell: Kinda smells like cheese and skunk, kind of like Blue Cheese
Smoke: The inhale and exhale both taste like cheese cake, but the exhale was slightly harsh.
High: This one has a real heady high too, made me spacey, a real good body feeling too.
Herojuana
Smell: Super sweet smell with a hint of herbieness.
Smoke: Inhale and exhale pack a punch, but with an herby taste.
High: The head part of the high is slightly debilitating, very stoney, the body side is relaxing and almost couch like.
Over the flowers are great! At first I thought that the flowers were not dried and cured out properly until I actually broke open the buds and felt them. They were not wet, but they were malleable like a plastic. They are just so resin heavy. They all smoked clean into white ash, very clean. All had a great potency.
