Koushi cocked a eyebrow at Tanaka when he winked at him, he had a idea what it was about and it caused him to shake his head. He really must have thought he was being slick with how he walked off to leave the two of them alone. He shrugged his shouldered when Daichi claimed he was up to something, acting as if he hadn’t caught on as the two of them walked to food table. “Yes, please. I’ll have what he’s having.” He pointed over to Asahi, who was laughing loudly on Noya’s lap. He tsked softly, it wasn’t even that late. How could someone so big be such a light weight? He glanced up at Daichi when he felt his eyes on him, holding eye contact before smiling at him. “Is there something on my face, Dai-kun?” he teased him softly.

Daichi glanced over to Asahi when Koushi made his comment about his food, rolling his eyes. Why Noya even put up with that lovable idiot he would never know or understand why. He chuckled shortly still amused with Koushi and reached over the boy to grab a couple of chips that were conveniently placed in a bowl behind them, “I’m just going to have pop, someone has to look after you if you’re going to have whatever he’s on.” the male smiled in amusement. The two of them moved closer to the food on the table when he was caught staring at his best friend. They held each other’s eye contact for a staggered moment, subconsciously moving closer to him. “H-Hah. Uh, n-no..there’s nothing on your face. But it doesn’t hurt to make sure, right?” he awkwardly answered with a slide glance and a shy smile. Daichi was starting to consider the pros of maybe having a beer and taking the edge off. Koushi was just so much more outgoing and better in social situations, not that he wasn’t comfortable with his teammates he just had a harder time relaxing. Since Tanaka had instantly left them alone, he figured they were to fend for themselves. “Should we scavenge for something to drink?”

Koutaro was thrilled they were both ready to drink, the last time had been fun even if it’d gotten him in trouble. He’d already gone through the trouble of hiding the breakable goods before Kuroo got there, since he knew he had little control of his balance when he started to drink. “Nah, dude. You’re barely competition to me!” He teased the other, taking the first shot back. His face twisted from the taste, the raspberry was nice but sake always burnt. He leaned back into his bed, snickering softly. “Ha, I don’t blame him! He always has to look after your first years, after all. Especially that big one! I bet Fukurodani will be amazing next year, with Akaashi as captain. We’ll have to go to their games, right?” he snickered at the remark about how fasthe he was. He’d been prepared after all. “You pour the next one.”

“Yeah but not better than Nekoma, Kai is going to give Kaashi a run for his money. Especially if Yaku can get Lev to get his act together, he might actually be a threat.” Kuroo amusingly shook his head at the thought. His face turned sour as he was handed the two shot glasses again to pour the alcohol; what exactly did that mean for Kenma? They hadn’t exactly talked about if he would continue volleyball after he left and he wasn’t sure if he would. He would keep it in the back of his mind to ask the blonde later about it. He handed Bokuto the shot glass and lifted his to air toast and shoot it back. The tall boy’s face scrunched at the burning, but sweet sensation that poured down the back of his throat. Kuroo started to smirk at his friend with a make believe lightbulb above his head. “You know, we should make this interesting. Let’s make a wager.” knowing that Koutaro would never backdown from a challenge. “If I can take more shots than you in a minute, then you have to take a dare and the same if you win. Which you won’t.” he made sure to wink and a wave at the slightly older male. “Unless you’re scared of course.”
