the fact that ppl on twitter saying that ppl who didnt want azzi to go to the all star game want her to “self isolate” is concerning.

i think a lot of ppl didnt want her to go bc social media portrays her as “wag” when shes also a professional basketball player who is extremely talented. i think a lot of her fans didnt want the wnba to profit off of her being there when she should definitely be an all star herself. i unfortunately think the level if disrespect wont go away until she plays without paige in the league bc i think that ppl view her as being an extension of paige. i think the project b thing is going to be good for her to separate herself basketball wise from paige and i honestly hope she stays out of unrivaled for a while until ppl including her coworkers start to respect her basketball skills. i js feel bad bc if this was anyone else they would be an all star 100%, and i honestly wish teammates + the Dallas organization wouldve thought twice abt drafting her not bc of her talent or bc she didnt deserve to go #1 but bc i think they really didnt need a guard n i think she couldve been used to her fullest potential somewhere else. i js think this is an extremely unfair situation for her and i think offensively we are gonna see azzi go to new levels in project b when she is finally given the chance to showcase that.
