Poem

The spark ignited, young and bright,

A flame that danced with all its might.

Ambition soared, a boundless sky,

To reach for stars, and learn to fly.

But fuel consumed at fevered pace,

A relentless, hurried race.

Each task a burden, sharp and keen,

A vibrant soul, now pale and lean.

The fire flickers, dimmed and low,

Where passion burned, cold ashes grow.

The weight of years, a crushing load,

On shoulders still upon life's road.

The young heart aches, a weary plea,

For respite, silence, to be free.

To shed the pressure, ease the strain,

And find the joy in life again.

A whisper rises, soft and small,

"It's not too late to stand up tall.

To tend the embers, embers hold,

And let a kinder story unfold."

To find the balance, ease the burn,

And slowly, gently, start to learn,

That rest is vital, peace is key,

To reignite that fire, wild and free.

One of the staff at my school said it was "inappropriate" to have female "fun parts" on a drawing so I had to draw the bikini it wasn't inappropriate tho I had not draw her exact details 🥹
