the 4/99 Project

This is a playful exploration of the sights, sounds and rhythms of four villages nestled along the Mutianyu Great Wall: Mutianyu, Beigou, Tianxianyu and Xinying. Hosted by The Schoolhouse, visiting curators will pull together an evolving display of 99 impressions drawn from a set of vibrant communities in rural northern China. The current admin is Tessa Cheek.
