Of course she wasnāt wrong. What kind of a thing to say was that? Never mind the fact that she was a teacher, she had gone to this school. She knew the rules.
Michelle purses her lips together in the best serious-teacher way she can.Ā āMilk?ā either this kid was terrible at making excuses, or he was being genuine.Ā ā⦠At eleven at night?ā
āHmmā¦ā she hums, tapping a finger to her lips as if she was deep in thought. Detention? Yeah right, she had just spent hours scribbling over student papers. There was no way she was going to waste any more time writing up some kid a detention slip. But he didnāt need to know that. Not right away, at least.
āI mean, those rules exist for a reason, you know? Itās for all the studentsā own safety! Well⦠Hm. Whatās your name?ā
Pete nodded his head up and down profusely.Ā āYeah, milk. My dorm is low.ā Yup, eleven at night, now can he go get his damn milk now? is... what he was thinking internally, but on the outside he was sweating almost. Pete watched as Ā she tapped her lip in thought of whether to give him detention or not.... he was pretty sure at least. Rubbing the back of his neck he gives a sorry laugh,Ā āEhehh... Yeah Iām aware.ā Pete slumped his head.Ā āUhh-- the nameās Pete...r. Peter. Hansen.āĀ
Ohhh boy this was gonna be fun.

rebelcase:
Now thatās a little unexpected.Ā
Neil followed him to the convenience store and parked right next to the car. He took off his helmet, and ruffled up his messy birdās nest, err, hair, and turned to the student. He just got out of his car and looked all chill. Pfft. If he thinks he can get by with that too, he is gravely mistaken. Though he has to admitā¦
āNot bad. Seen that around campus, just didnāt think a brat owns it.ā Given how simple this guy was as Neil sees him in passing, he didnāt take him in for that type. Then again wasnāt he driving that one time when the students snuck out, too? It made sense now.Ā āTwoā but enough with that crap, bud. Youāre not allowed outside at this hour and you know it. Since Iām nice, iāll just give you an hour of detentionāā
Surprise, surprise. He still has a detention slip ready. The only problem is he doesnāt actually his full name.Ā āā whatās your name again? Peter..?ā
Pete watched as the teacher pulled off his helmet, ugh, yeah itās definitely that one teacher from the dance who threatened to give him detention for well... okay well for not dancing but thatās an argument for another time. Pete shrugged with a laugh.Ā āWell Iām sorry to disappoint then.ā Two years was pretty good for a bike. Pete nodded, yeah of course he knew he wasnāt allowed outside, especially at this hour. Heād take an hour, thatās fair enough.Ā āMy last name?ā Pete could lie, but in all honesty that would just make things harder for him, heād probably get in even more trouble.Ā āHansen, Peter Hansen.āĀ

rebelcase:
What was up with these kids trying to trick him? If he thought he can hide himself just by looking away, then he needs to buy another book of deceitĀ for dummies. āJust peachy.ā
āItās a Yamaha, Peter. The kind youāre not allowed to haveā kind of like that car of yours.āĀ Heās seen this car around. At the parking lot of the school even. Neil never really figured out which of the teachers owned it, but at least now he was getting answers, even if it was the unexpected kind.
The countdown for the traffic lights neared 0, and soon enough, red will turn to yellow, then green. Neil readied himself, admittedly amused. If he decides to speed away and escape, heāll be following him closely behind, heh.
Okay, Pete was giving up on this wholeĀ āniceā act, he was just gonna be himself at this point and if that got him into trouble, so be it.Ā āI mean Iām licensed and this car is registered, so Iām pretty sure I can have it.ā That was a nice Yamaha though... Pete watched as the light turned back to green, his attention going back to the road. Pete put the car into first gear and well... drove the car normally. Each shift had no jerk to it, showing his discipline with driving stick. He didnāt try to speed ahead or anything, after all, he was trying to enjoy this night. Pete signaled to the right, a convenience store he usually goes to around this time was just up ahead, and he planned to stop there and take a rest for a moment. He completely expected the teacher to follow him, he was one of those teachers anyways.Ā
Pete turned into the parking lot of the convenience store, pulling into an empty space out of the many that were there, Pete cut off the ignition and stepped out of the car, leaning on the side of the car he crossed his arms with an unamused look on his face.Ā āSo?.. ya like it?ā Pete gave a slight smirk and a chuckle but let it down.Ā āHow long have you had your bike?āĀ

@4-pete-sake
Just like with any other night, Neil was out on his motorcycle to head buy food for himself. Delivery took too long plus itād be faster to just go there in-person. Less trash for him to take out, too. On his way and while the lights were red, Neil found himself idly looking around the street while waiting. He could hardly give a fuck about the people in his surrounding, but he saw a slightly familiar face, made more recognizable by the hat he wore. It wouldnāt have strayed from the norms if a) he wasnāt driving a card; and b) he wasnāt out in the middle of the night. ā???āĀ
Neil was positive that was a student. He remembered him from some of the school events and he clung around Maya a lot. Peter. Or Pete. Or both? Bah, the lightās about to turn green fast, he canāt just keep staring. The blonde placed two fingers near his lips and whistled loudly enough to get his attention. These brats werenāt even allowed to head out the school at this hour, yeesh.Ā
āOi.ā He called out and glared, .
Pete was out on another nightly drive, partially to get groceries for the dorm, but mostly just so he could take his car out for a drive. The slight growling rumble from his carās v6 engine sounded perfect tonight, the stars were out and the roads werenāt even busy. Pete turned off his radio and the air conditioning so he could hear his surroundings. It wasnāt soon after Pete started his cruise around town that he was stopped at a stop light, and next to a guy on a more than tasteful motorcycle. Pete was also pretty sure that the guy was a teacher at his school... and Peteās windows were down. Keep your head faced forward, Pete, maybe he wonāt recognize you.Ā
SHIT HE WAS NOTICED. Pete turned his head to the side to see the teacher, holding up a peace sign with his left hand, the other on the steering wheel, Pete tried his best to keep his cool.Ā āLovely night, ah?ā Alright alright, try to be friendly.Ā āI like your motorcycle, what is it?āĀ
Tying Loose Ends | Pete & Molly
freezeyxurbrain:
Molly didnāt know what to do. She just⦠didnāt. Up to this point, all sheād ever done was act out and push people away, but here she was, crying like some little bitch-baby, with Pete doing the same on the other side of the doorway. And in a way, it all pissed her off big time. Sheād gone all this time thinking sheād been left behind and abandoned and just wanting for their friendship to go back to the way it had been, but now he was at the door and all that she wanted for him to do was shut up or go away or at least to be a little bitch a bit more quietly so she could think.
Frustrated, her hands slid up in the middle of rubbing at her eyes, tangling in her short hair instead. Her inclination leaned heavily towards slamming or punching a wall or⦠well, more simply put, she didnāt know what to do with the anger and sadness she felt when she was usually so detached from her emotions.
Where sheād been quietānot silent, for sheād been too busy snifflingāshe suddenly snapped again, stomping her foot and pushing the door the rest of the way open.
āW-would you just⦠just shut up, yo,o,ou big baby! And⦠and get over here, ri-right now.ā This was said with another foot stomp which, with her bawling and yelling at him, made her look like an upset child more than anything else. Ā
Pete never meant to abandon Molly, and heāll for sure feel sorry for this for just about the rest of his life, Molly is an awesome, great, wonderful person that to be hones, Pete respected. Pete gulped and looked up as the door swung open, the short haired girl throwing more names and insults, yelling at him and then... telling him to come over. Pete slowly stood up, his entire body shook. Wiping away tears he nodded and walked over to her. Pete didnāt necessarily know what she wanted him to get closer for but Pete went ahead and threw his arms around her in a hug.Ā āI never meant to a-abandon you, Iām sorry Iām such a shitty f-f-friend and Iāll never treat you like that again.ā Pete sobbed and stuttered at the start of some of his words, making him sound like a child. Pete felt like a legitimately shitty person and he never wants a repeat of this again.

Tying Loose Ends | Pete & Molly
freezeyxurbrain:
Molly didnāt have it in her to even peek out the door at him, but even with her forehead pressed p against the wood of her door, she could hear in his voice as he drew to a close that heād started cryingāand fuck, it hit her like being stabbed through the chest. Biting down on her lip in an attempt to keep from crying like a little kid, but couldnāt stop herself from shaking like a leaf on the other side of the door and her tight grip on the door knob left it rattling in place.
The last thing she wanted to do was cut him out of her life for good, as much as he deserved it and as much as she wantedĀ to want to do thatāthe complete radio silence sheād been getting these last⦠a little over eight weeks, she thinks, is what started all of this bullshitĀ in the first place. And she doesnāt know what to make of what he had just told herāthe idea that she hadnāt been thrown aside and forgotten wasnāt one she easily believed. Not when⦠whenā¦
āPete⦠you idiot!ā Suddenly, and entirely to hide the fact sheād started sniffling like a pussy too, sheād slammed her free hand against the door, Ā crumpling against it.Ā āI-I fucking thought⦠I thought you hatedĀ me, Peter, when all this time youāve ju-just⦠you fucking pus-pussy ass bitch!ā Mollyās voice was faint and shaky, hoarse like a whisper, but with the hall quiet around this time and Molly against the door, it would be easy to hear with the faintest bit of effort. Breathing hitching up again, her hand slipped from the doorknobāand the door swung oytwards, into the hall, slightly, as she took a step back, angrily raising her arm to rub her sleeved arm across her face, mad that sheād started crying
Pete stood there in the silent hallway as the door rattled from the other side. His hands stayed at his side as he held back the tears, he was choked up and his short quick gulps of air were audible. Pete regret every time he wanted to walk up to Molly but didnāt, Pete regretted starting any of this shit and conflict, but now here he was, he had to fix this in some way.Ā
Pete jumped inside his shoes when Molly yelled at him. A light sob escaped his mouth as she hit the door and started ranting-- insulting him with words flowing from a hurt person whoād thought they were forgotten and abandoned. When the door opened even the small bit. Pete found tears streaming down his face when he saw the same thing happening on Mollyās face.Ā āI-ā Another sob escaped his mouth as he dropped onto his knees and put his arms down, staring at the floor he said it one more time.Ā āIām sorry.ā

It wasnāt that Michelle hated the job, but she didnāt realize teaching speech ā you know, the class where people do their projects verbally ā would still require so much grading.
Finally, she marks off the last paper for the night and stretches. She didnāt get everything totally done, but the kids can wait an extra day. She doubted theyād even notice if she was a day late in handing these back to them.
⦠Her eyes flick up to the clock on the wall, aaand itās almost eleven oāclock. At night. When had the time gotten away from her like that!? She lets out a frustrated gurgle, not even bothering to shove her chair back in an she stalks out of the room. The academy at night is almost eerily quiet ā she never stays this late. The hallways are dark, the lights outside on campus donāt seem bright enough, and as sheās passing by the student dorms to head to the bus station thereās another creepy pair of footsteps besides her own.
⦠Hmm. Wait a minute, thatās off.
Itās dark out, but not pitch black, and sure enough that is definitely a student trying to sneak off.
āHell -Ā o!ā if they hadnāt noticed her noticing them earlier, she definitely had their attention now.Ā āHuh, funny seeing you out here when⦠I swore curfew was at ten~?āĀ
11 pm, the riskiest, but probably best time for Pete to sneak out to go get groceries seeing as any other time and heād be tired as all hell the next day. Pete was just out of the dorms and on his way to his escape spot, and while he normally parked his car in the school parking lot he felt that was probably more dangerous. So, Peteās idea was to park it in one of the parallel parking spots nearby a bus station thatās 24/7 so they donāt tow it away thank goddess... Pete was being quiet as he could, the only thing making noise was probably his car keys jingling from the carabiner clip attached to the belt holes on his shorts. This was his Achilles heel in his current situation.
shit... Pete turned his head around towards the source of the voice. Yup... itās a fucking teacher... geez, maybe it is true that teachers live at the school. Pete gulped... think, knuckle head, think!!!Ā āI mean youāre... not wrong.ā PETER YOU FUCKING IDIOT. agh, cāmon you can do better.Ā āUhh- I was just going to get some milk from the store, thatās it really...ā Okay fucking fine. Maybe sheāll understand.Ā āPlease donāt give me detention...ā Busted...
Tying Loose Ends | Pete & Molly
freezeyxurbrain:
Molly clenched her jaw as Pete spoke, saying sorry a record amountāgiven the time frameāand somehow managing to make Molly more unwilling to accept his apology each and every time. Because you know what? Heās right, he isĀ an idiot, and a horrible friend, and while he forgot it, sheāll add it in: heās an asshole too. But⦠she doesnāt hate him.
No, what she hates is the fact that despite all of that, she still cares about him, and that him standing outside her door sniffling like some obnoxious six year old still hurts. She doesnāt see why she should want to comfort himāor why she should want to be his friend if heāll just get bored again or whatever excuse he wanted to give her and toss her aside again, like she hadnāt even mattered to him in the first place.
She getās enough of that at home, she isnāt about to put up with it here too.Ā
So while her expression softens,Ā she still retreats further away from him, closing the door between them slightly, leaving a bit more than a crack to see her through.
āWhy shouldĀ I?ā She didnāt snap, or Ā yell, but instead just⦠sounded tired, voice soft and shaky.Ā āSo you get to do it again as soon as better people come along o-or justādo you even freakingĀ careĀ howā¦ughā¦ā Her head falls forward, audibly bumping against the other side of the door.Ā āJust go away, Hansen.ā
No... please donāt close the door. Peteās face almost drooped to one of failure and regret as there was only a hair more than a crack in the door between the two of them. If this door closed, that was going to be the end of it... at least Pete was pretty sure of that, that if she closed the door that was her goodbye to him and their fleeting friendship. A teardrop started rolling down Peteās cheek, slowly, the trace of his tear glistening in the low light of the hallway. Pete could barely give a reason as to why she should even be his friend.Ā āI-ā Peteās throat choked up as a sniffle came out.Ā
One by one the tears started rolling and Pete started rubbing away, now wasnāt the time.Ā āMolly I donāt want to go away--ā Pete took a giant gulp and spat out all that he could.Ā āMolly Iām an idiot, Iām an asshole, Iām a horrible friend, everything in between, and everything below...ā Pete sniffled into another sigh. āBut I want to see you going to class again, I want to talk to you like friends again, you have every right and reason to close this door right now and cut off any and all connection with me, but I care for you Molly-- I really do... Molly I canāt count the times Iāve looked your way in the halls wanting to apologize like I am right now but cowardly walked off and pretended like it was nothing.ā Peteās voice grew shaky as well-- but like it was about to cut out at any moment.Ā āIām-- Iām so fucking sorry.āĀ
Tying Loose Ends | Pete & Molly
freezeyxurbrain:
It was rare that Molly got attached to people:usually, sheād have been sent off to a different school by this point, expelled and nothing but a black mark on her ex-classmateās yearbooks. It hadnāt even struck her how clingy sheād gotten right up until Pete just⦠ditched her? They still saw each other in the halls and in class, but all of a sudden she hated even going to astronomy because even though their desks were only a few spaces away (all the better to throw paper planes at his head, was her initial motive in picking this spot), heād just flatout ignore her.
And at first, she was worried about him, as strange as it was considering Molly didnāt really give a shit about most of her peers. Yet it kind of started to hit herāas far as sheĀ could tell he was still talking to his other friends just fine, and she stopped worrying. The only conclusion she could figure was that she fucked up somehow, that Pete had gotten tired of her shit and had given up on dealing with her.
After that, she stopped going to astronomyāand while, over the last two months, sheād managed to befriend Lillie and hide from the fact she was pretty sure most of the school couldnāt standĀ her, she avoided Pete in the hallway, since every time she saw him she nearly started crying.
So suffice to say, the last person she expected to see when she opened the door was Pete and for a moment, thereās the rarest flicker of sincerityāsurprise and confusion flickering over her features. His apology is met by the door swinging shut in his face as Mollyās breath hitches in her throat, tears pricking the corners of her eyes because how fucking dare this asshole show up at her door after ignoring her for MONTHS.Ā
The door opens slightly a moment later, Mollyās bro furrowed as she pokes her head back out
āWhat do you want, Peter?āĀ
Peteās sorry was met with the door slamming shut in his face, but-- what else could he have expected. This was a perfectly warranted response. Pete lowered his head and gulped. āMoll-ā In the midst of saying her name, about to beg that she listen to him, she opened it up with a look that killed him. Pete took a deep breath that stuttered with every second, and exhaled. āI want to tie up our loose ends... I want to tell you that Iāve been an idiot, Iāve been an awful friend and I want to tell you that-- Iām sorry...ā Pete cleared his throat. āI know sorry doesnāt cut what Iāve done, but sorry is all I have...ā
Pete grimaced as he was about to cry. This girl was the best thing and the closest thing heād ever get to one of the most sincere friends heād ever make in his life... and he tossed it in the trash can, left the friendship to die... all because of his carelessness. āSo Iām sorry...ā Pete put his hands and arms at his sides and lowered his head. āPlease will you be my friend again?ā Peteās eyebrows shook, he was on the verge of tears and his sniffles showed.
Roaming at the festival Recording Doc Pete's hands were buried in his hoodie's pockets.. stupid festival games. Pete managed to get some time away from the booth with Holly having taken over for a bit to let him have a break. It was fairly cool outside, so it wasn't like he felt like he was walk...

@freezeyxurbrain
Pete laid on his bed in utter darkness. He liked to do this thing called thinking every once in a while. Right now, Pete was thinking about someone in specific... a friend of his that to be honest he wasnāt sure if sheād consider him a friend anymore... Pete abandoned her, left her alone and all because he wasĀ āstressed...ā Pete let out a small and short laugh of pity on himself.Ā āIām so fucking dumb...ā Pete took a deep breath and exhaled of the same time it took for him to breathe in. Was he going to finally do it? Tie up his loose ends, admit he was an idiot and try to be friends again?...Ā
Pete grabbed his phone in the darkness, the screen almost blinding him. Unlocking the screen he pulled up his text messages. The last time he texted her.. texted Molly was two months ago. It made Pete sick to his stomach, he wanted to just throw up he felt so bad.Ā Message to: Molls Subject: . . . Pete stared at the screen. Not moving and not typing anything... laying there. Pete left the subject empty, tossed his phone on the ground and walked out of his room, out into the dormitory hallway. Pete stood in front of Mollyās door, C5 he was pretty sure. Pete knocked on the door despite how late it was, hoping, praying internally sheād answer. The door handle jiggled once... twice... the door finally opened and Pete spat it out.Ā āIām so sorry...āĀ

Lemme Smash || Pete & Lillie

Ā Ā Ā ćāć~ His reaction was one that she had been hoping against, the way he froze up a bit extreme for an invitation to play games, but definitely not promising. Had⦠had she done something wrong? She was about to ask him if he was alright when he makes a sudden outburst, causing Lillie to pull her hand from his shoulder and jump back in alarm.
Ā Ā Ā āG-girlfriend, whatā¦!?ā Lillie stares on at him wide eyed, confused and not at all getting what he was going on about.Ā āItās⦠okay? Congrats, really, but I donāt see what that has to do with us smashing?ā She felt like she was seriously missing something hereā¦
Pete looked at the girl in pure confusion. Did she not-- were they both thinking of different things. Fixing Peteās position back to a normal one he squints.Ā āI feel like weāre... thinking about two different things... define smash.ā Pete was still very confused with what had just happened, but he knew this girl looked too pure to just ask Pete out of nowhere if he wanted toĀ āsmash meā .
āActually no, I know we were both thinking of something different.āĀ
Lemme Smash || Pete & Lillie
oaktreeweathergirl:
@4-pete-sake;
Ā Ā Ā ćāć~ At the end of every school week, Lillie would meet up with Molly to hang out and play video games. Lillie didnāt consider herself very good, nowhere near the master level Molly was at, but the two of them always had a good time, and that was what mattered to her most in the end.
Ā Ā Ā But this time Molly wasnāt available to play, and had told her to ask Pete instead. Pete wasnāt someone she knew terribly much about, aside from what she saw of him in her Calculus class, so needless to say she was a bit nervous. But hopefully heād agree if she took Mollyās advice⦠appeal to him with that cool gamer speak he was sure to love?
Ā Ā Ā Just at that moment, she spots Pete walking down the halls. Rushing to catch up with him, Lillie reaches forward and taps him by the shoulder, hoping he wouldnāt be too terribly bothered by this.Ā āU-um, excuse me, Pete?ā Once he turns to her and she has his full attention, she gives a nervous but friendly smile.
Ā Ā Ā Er, how did Molly put it againā¦?Ā āHi! Um. So⦠y-you wanna smash⦠me?ā
Pete internally groaned, he was tired as all hell from the day with tests stacked on top of tests. His backpack slung over his shoulder he heads onto his way to Java City to go get his daily deal of coffee from Jill. When Pete was stopped by someone who he was-- pretty sure she was in his calculus class he was met with a question that made his eyes widen and all movements of his stop dead in their tracks.Ā āu- uh...ā Pete was backed into a fucking corner... well not really, he was in a hallway but metaphorically still.Ā āI-IāM SORRY I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND.ā Pete jumped back a little bit into his apology and gulped. F u c k....
This was not at fucking all what he expected.
