456 MOVEMENT

The name ‘456’ is derived from the popular urban dice game cee-lo, which is played with three dice. If a 4, 5 and 6 combination is rolled at anytime during gameplay, it results in an automatic win for the roller. The name is a testament to the type of music that the 456 are aiming to create and to the similar upbringing shared by each founding member of the group being born in New York City. The group was formed with the common goal in mind to deliver hip-hop music to the real music fans. Unlike many current hip-hop acts we are not concerned about building a mainstream or popular personification, instead we want to deliver music to the public that can be appreciated for its combination of content, lyrical ability, and melody. We are determined to bring the art form back to the forefront of music.
