I believe bravery is one of the most important traits in a person. Not bravery as in confronting danger or fighting, not in that gallant, made up, arrogant way. No, I mean bravery as in being brave enough to be authentic. Brave enough to tell the truth to others. Brave enough to stand for your feelings and wishes, and take the consequences. Brave enough to meet other human beings as human beings, instead of as objects or means to an end. Brave enough to dare to risk to loose. Brave enough to face loss. That kind of bravery is what for me makes a good person, a person worthy of admiration, and above all: a strong person.

Life rule numero uno: running makes everything better.
Fighting the good fight
*3 months later*
Wore my 💙 and 💛today because after running in the 2018 Boston Monsoon, splashing through the puddles in a lil bit of rain this morning was nothing! 17 miles, 7:58 pace. Once again, I blame the pace on someone else, this time Bob gets the blame. 😉

“Some days it just flows and I feel like I’m born to do this, other days it feels like I’m trudging through hell. Every day I make the choice to show up and see what I’ve got, and to try and be better. My advice: keep showing up.”

foggy morning workouts
We took advantage of today’s amazing weather to explore some new trails and to bag a new peak. A bit of bushwhacking, a few ankle deep creek crossings, and a bit of runnable stuff made for another perfect Sunday adventure 👌. #runwildvan https://ift.tt/2qzoS56
