Described by Plato in 360 BC, these five geometric shapes ― known as Platonic solids ― were seen as the ideal of perfection and purity. They fascinated great mathematicians, philosophers, and artists like Pythagoras, Aristotle, and Leonardo Da Vinci.

The creators of Platonics ― a photographer and an engineer ― hope these finely crafted solids, which they plan to smelt and cast in brass and bronze, will inspire you to pause in appreciation of the beauty of craftsmanship in a world of mass-produced products.
