As someone who has yumeshipped w him AND analyzed his writing, plus adding nonsense from my mind to connect dots, Cobs did all of that for a reason.

What I see in him is a complex character, a character that had a LOT of potential, but sadly had to get killed to the story could continue. Don’t get me wrong I do not support any of his abuse towards Mephone4 and any of his creations, but if we’re talking abt the story, he had to do it so the story of II hadn’t any plot holes and the characters weren’t flat imo. Cobs is a character very dear to me, he’s one of the best villains that I’ve could ever seen in action, especially how he slowly spirals in insanity (hehe get it?) to get rid of mephone4 and steal his show to host it by himself. And he does it out of desperation to get Meeple to gain popularity and not let it to go bankrupt, leaving Cobs basically with nothing. Maybe if we had more canon information of him and gave him a chance to analyze his character, he could probably be a little more appreciated imo but idk this makes no sense bruh.
