1954 Oldsmobile F-88

1954 Oldsmobile F-88, a unique "dream car" concept designed by Harley Earl. 

Rarity: It is widely considered the only remaining example of its kind, as most other prototypes were destroyed. 

Performance: The car is powered by a 324-cubic-inch "Rocket" V8 engine, similar to the Oldsmobile Super 88. 

Design: It features a fiberglass body and shares a chassis with the Chevrolet Corvette, though it never entered full production. 

Value: One example was famously sold for over $3 million at a collector car auction.

1955 Ford La Tosca Concept Car

This image is a promotional photo of the 1955 Ford La Tosca concept car, depicted as a futuristic flying vehicle in space. 

The car's design was heavily influenced by modern aircraft, featuring a Plexiglas roof canopy and retractable headlights. 

Its main styling feature was unusual canted fins, which gave the car a wider appearance. 

The La Tosca was painted bright red for the 1959 movie It Started With A Kiss, where it was featured as a "flying car" in promotional materials like this image. 

The actual concept car was maneuvered by remote control and had a chassis designed for quick body shell changes.
