Isaiah 48:9-11 NKJV
9 “For My name’s sake I will defer My anger, And for My praise I will restrain it from you, So that I do not cut you off. 10 Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. 11 For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.

You want to know why we’re here? What’s it all mean? What’s the purpose? What is this all about? WHY?
For His glory.
1 Peter 3:9 (NLT) Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.
Proverbs 15:1 (NLT) A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.
We will fall into sin because we are human, but God’s grace is there to life us back up. We should never blatantly ignore the will of God, but understand that God doesn’t want you to avoid His presence after you fall into sin. Grace isn’t a license to sin, but it gives us the power to walk in newness of life. We have to stop focusing on “not sinning”, but focusing more on pleasing Jesus. When you’re in love with God, it’s easy to do what He says. When you’re serving God as a “check-off list”, then you’ll never understand that sin isn’t appealing and true joy is only in His presence. Let’s turn our hearts back to prayer, the bible, fasting etc., and we will fall more in love with God. Even if it doesn’t feel “fun”, feeding your spirit pays off. Whatever we feed will live and whatever we starve will die, so feed your spirit and you’ll grow closer to God…. The more we struggle is the more we see that we need Jesus in our lives. Don’t allow your struggle to become your identity, use it as another reason to go to God in prayer.
— “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT
“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.”
