i think we all can agree that stiles is attractive.
im finding it hard to believe that no one is paying attention to him or just simply crushing on him. i'm not talking like erica type of crush. i'm talking like going up to stiles, dead on flirting or asking him out on a date, and him not getting the hint AT ALL.
I need a fic on this, but in the point of view of someone's not involved at all.
You're forgot your homework in your locker, so you rush to get it just before the bell rings. Class is starting soon, you run like hell, thinking no one will be in the hall anyway — but you're proven wrong almost a minute after.
You see Stiles as you slows down. Well, you see his flailing arms to be exact, he's basically blocked by the person in front of him. Whatever they were talking about, it seems like only one person finds it really funny and it is not Stiles.
As you finally reached your locker, your finger rotating the combination, you are now close enough to hear them. Others might call it being a busy body, but it's not exactly your fault if they are talking too loud.
"Yeah, so, umm.. anyway.."
Oh, you thought. Not again.
It's not so much about the words.. It's the tone, the odd half a second pause, the sudden drop in their voice, the slow drag in each word, and all the slight nervousness leading up to the question you know this person is going to ask.
"Do you, uh.., maybe want to go out with me..?"
Every once in a while, you find yourself in this position. The audience to a show that you didn't even buy the ticket for. The unwilling spectator. Getting second hand embarrassment from both sides, actually.
Because as smart as Stiles is, he can actually be quite thick. Like a brick. Or even thicker maybe. His attention to detail is amazing and yet he always misses the clues.
Especially in this sense.
"Oh? Go out where? Just so you know I'm on track to fail econs so I can't skip class next period. Yeah maybe this weekend works– you know what, we should watch that new zombie movie! Scott's been wanting to watch it but between the two of us we're not exactly good with horror– Wait I'm not saying I'm a scaredy cat or anything, pshh, I'm, I've, I can handle horror– If only you know.. Not that there's anything you, uh, need to know, you get me? It's just, Beacon Hills, am I right, haha haa, yeah like weird things happens. Anyway—"
You know how it'll end anyway. You walk away, homework in your hands, leaving a brick and that poor admirer behind.
Maybe the next one would have better luck than this.
